*** June 2015 Mummies ***

Thanks Buggy! I've never seen or heard of this. I think is NHS England cos NHS scotland is different and I don't have a log on or anything! However I will make my way through this and Prob print out for my own benefit :-)!

My baby is still head down. Can tell by the kicks. Seems to be his or her position of choice - which is pretty good for birth etc but what is causing extra pressure on my pelvis!

Haha glad to hear isn't just first time mums that go shop crazy hehe! xx

That looks good babyscotcher, good price as well! Coletteypie im a second time mum and still feel the need to buy everything lol. Texted hubby to see what he thought and turns out hes thinking the same. So I might get my crib after all now. I just have visions of me stressed out carrying it up and down with two squealing children lol.

Buggy I never had a birth plan last time as it was a planned section. As im hoping for a vbac I really would like to do one but nobody has mentioned it yet. Thanks for the link, will look it up and do my own then. Hopefully we'll all get the births we want.

is anyone else obsessed with babys position? Ive a real active one and movement seems to change position all the time, is anyone else the same? At moment i think they are transverse but i find it hard to tell. I know ive loads of time yet but im so paranoid I'll have another breech and therefore another section!! x

I don't know if anyone looked at mine last time but my mw told me to fill it in, print it and put it in the back of my notes. I've done it again this time, hopefully they will take some notice of it.

Last scan I had baby was footlong breech so I'm constantly wondering what they're doing in there now but I really can't tell!

Currently tucked up in bed watching one born on plus one channel :)

My little babs is head down, has been from very early on and won't change now because no space for him to turn. So strange as right side of my tummy is soft as nothing there and then left where he is I can feel exactly where he is.

We are using Moses basket in living room and we have a cot bed for bedroom with sleepy head deluxe to put in as baby will be too small for cot bed. May change my mind yet though! I live in a large flat so we can always use Moses basket if baby isn't happy in the sleepy head but from what I've read babies sleep great in them :) x

DD used to sleep in her moses basket until about 3am then wouldn't go back down so I used to have her in with me for a few hours. Will definitely be using it again though.

I was so uncomfortable last night woke about 4am and could not get comfy again then bubba started doing the crazy kicks, well head buts shoulder butts or bum.. The kind that make you jump. Lol.. Fell asleep again eventually but have to lay almost upright as was aching loads.

I actually slept last night! So happy haha! Soaked my lips in Nivea and sudocrem so they are in one piece this morning!

Got my mum coming round shortly to sort out my grey roots!! She's getting married on Saturday! 3rd wedding since I've been pregnant!! Never been to any with OH in all the time we have been together and then 3 come along at once haha xx

Glad your lips aren't so bad today Charlie!!

I remember you saying about the weddings as we're the same - have three between now and just after the baby is born, then another two later on in the year. I bought a dress on etsy that I'll be able to wear both when pregnant and not (and will be great to breast feed in too!). All I need to get now is some small nude heels and a clutch :)

Onto my fourth day of feeling like poop with this cold, think I may have accidentally passed it on to DS too :( feel awful.

I ended up taking a chance and ordering this dress. Very flattering with my bump. Will even fit me after the baby is born hopefully! They have them in lots of different colours too xx

Hello!

I feel like a creep reading all your posts so I stay up to date but not posting so I've decided to give in!

R.E baby sleeping arrangements, we're going to get a snuz pod for our room and baby can sleep in the pram carry cot during the day so they get used to day and night time (well, that's what the mothercare lady said - no idea if it works). When you put your baby to "bed" at night, do you leave them upstairs until you go to bed yourself? I know in the first weeks they won't go down at a reasonable time but I just wondered when you started to get them into that routine.

Charlie, your poor mouth! Mine has been very dry too - suffered with it in Tri 1 and now it's back. Some nights I cant open my mouth because it feels stuck shut and I woke DH once with a huge suction noise from it .

Colettey - I find that when I go on the NHS website it sometimes invites me to receive emails on baby milestones etc but it never lets me sign up because it's for "residents of England and Wales only" - okay, don't ask me then!

Buggy - what a time you've had, that sounded really scary. I don't know about signs baby will early, my nephew was a very active baby in the womb and was born 6 weeks early and my SIL thinks that was a sign.

I'm another one who's getting a bit obsessed with baby's position. I was getting the strong vibrations in my pubic bone i.e. feet and then punches in my side and at my 20week scan baby was footling breech and lying on his side so that explained movements. I'm sure he moved as there was a lot of commotion in there one night and since then I have hardly felt the punches in my side but the feet down at my pubic bone are wild so I think he's facing my back but still footling breech. I have a consultant appointment on Tuesday next week - should I insist on a scan at 32/34 weeks to check baby's position?

A lot of changes in my body too, developing nice thick purple bits around my belly button which is seriously threatening to pop out. I woke up with a wet arm at the weekend, apparently one of my boobs had turned in to a tap! Hans't happened since but I was horrified! Lats night I woke up (for the 10th time) screaming. I think I had tried to sit up by bending in the middle and it felt as though baby's head had got wedged in my diaphragm. I'm sure that's not possible but it hurt anyway. Can no longer get a full night sleep or sleep beyond 5.30 / 6am - even at the weekend.

Sorry for long post :) x

Well I'm all jabbed up, the injection itself was ok but my arm really aches... I asked MW about difference between arm and bum, said arm better as gets into body better and quicker, your bum muscle is bigger so would take longer. Lol..
While I was up there asked and had a nose where delivery suites are as actually had no idea...least I know where I'm heading when the time comes...eek!!!

Picked up cot mattress and bedding sheets as had them delivered to my local waitrose.

Belfa great to see you over here, you must be one of the last now... We also have a snuzpod for our bedroom and can use sometimes in the day. I've also heard not to keep them in same thing the whole time so they know when it's time to sleep too.

Charlie glad your lips are a bit better today.

Pismo hope you feel better soon.

Hope everyone else ok xx

When did everyone get their whooping cough jab done? Or when will you for those who are having it? I saw the midwife yesterday and we both forgot to mention it, I presume the sooner the better? X

Good point about the whooping cough, my mw hasn't mentioned it. i'll try to remember to bring it up on Friday when I see her.

Got another scan 2 weeks on Friday!

Just had mine done right now. Didn't hurt at all. I just rang my gp surgery and told them I was pregnant and needed the jab. A nurse just did mine, didn't go through my midwife.

Yeah I didn't go through midwife either, just told her I have booked it when I saw her the next time.
I'm shattered again, just cleaned out our sunlounge as it was being used for storage when we had to empty out garage to have electrics put in last year. It was disgusting but I had a serious case of nesting haha, glad I attacked it!!

Going to ask the nurse if she can do my whooping cough vaccine tomorrow along with my GTT... Shouldn't take an extra minute or two.

Belfa - You're so close to being third tri that you may as well join us permanently over here :)

x

I'm getting mines tomorrow. Phoned GP and nurse is doing it, midwife didn't bring it up until I asked at last appointment.

Welcome over Belfa :-)! Lol at you creeping. Is just an arbitrary line of Tri2/3 really - we are all still June mums no matter what!

Had such a busy day at work only getting around to catching up on thread now. Baby is super active now I'm at home relaxing. Have got hubby on dinner making duties hehe!

I had my whooping cough at 28 weeks ladies. If midwife forgotten don't worry - U just phone Ur GP to arrange anyway with the nurse.

Oh and Belfa - can't believe you had that much leakage!! I have nothing like that, just some dried residue in my bra :-/! Delightful. And I'm sure if midwife finds you are still breech and next appointment they will mostly likely arrange a scan for you anyways. Have you tried any of the recommended methods to get baba to move yet? Like doing exercises on all 4's etc?

Oh and charlie glad to hear you mouth was a bit better. Maybe stress of funeral didn't help with your dryness!

Hope everyone's doing ok... It's got busy here again- hard to keep up! :) starting to get a really achey back by the afternoon now, eek!!
