*** June 2015 Mummies ***

Mmmm pate!! My fave! I'm looking forward to Christmas haha! Wasn't the same this year without the pate! ;) xx

Oh with my shift pattern at work I do 7 nights on and then 7 off, means I have have 3 working weeks left now thank god!

I had to fast from 11pm, my test was at 9am. I only had water until after the test and was starving!
Hope you're all well ladies.
I'm really still suffering with these headaches. Affecting my sleep now too so I'm permanently shattered. Don't know what to do as there's nothing Dr can do, just gonna have to grin and bear it but it's so debilitating, it's really getting me down and making my anxiety worse.

Oh Emma, sorry to hear the headaches aren't easing up. Do you get them normally or are they directly linked to pregnancy?

Papella don't know how you do 7 on 7 off when pregnant! Used to do it in my old job and it was always the most miserable week. I currently only have four working weeks left :) I seriously can't wait, so ready for mat leave!

Can't sleep as I have caught some form of the plague I think ;) - not stopped coughing, sneezing, snotting and aching all night :( all o want to do is take some form of lemsip and cough suppressant then and sleep.

Xx

I've got a cold too Pismo, really sore throat and coughing :(

Being ill when pregnant is awful :( Will be calling in sick for work tomorrow I think. Doubt I'mm going to get much better before then.

Is anyone tracking/counting babies movements? I know its not something people do routinely but noticed a couple of apps that help you keep track. I'm not worried - LO moves plenty, just wanted to see how often your little ones move too...

x

30 weeks today.....ekk!! Cant believe im now in the 30's. Have mixed feelings, really hoping the time flies in but then I remember how much ive still to do and panic!

Is it too early to start washing baby clothes, bedding?? Would like to have them nice and fresh so wonder if i should leave them a few weeks. Nesting is kicking in bad x

Thanks girls. I can just eat as normal then as will be in bed by 10 latest so definately wont be eating after that. I do not usually mind not eating if I am busy and sometimes forget but sods law says because I actually can't eat, I will want to.

Emma- sorry you are suffering with your headaches. My doctor was happy to give me Codine to help with mine as is safe in pregnancy as I have suffered with headaches and migraines since puberty. Luckily I haven't needed to use them very often.

My boss who sits next to me has a stinking cold and I have told her to keep it to herself. Really could do without catching one with all the poking and prodding that I have going on this week.

I dont count Pismo, think cos lo is so active ive never felt the need. What apps have u seen to help count? Maybe its something I should be doing x

The first of us to hit 30 weeks - Only ten weeks left. So exciting!! And ten weeks is plenty of time to get everything done. Don't worry.

Will start washing babies stuff around 35 weeks, there isn't much to wash at the moment and don't want to leave it all collecting dust in the mean time.

xx

Emma - have you done a thread on headaches? You might get some advice from other ladies who have suffered in the April/May threads. You seem to have tried a lot of things already, but who knows - someone might have advice. I found the PGP info interesting and helpful - and have made a few changes which have helped reduce my pain!

Papella - 7 days on then off?! That sounds mental! You must be exhausted!

Aww poor wee lambs all getting colds! Think the change in season causes a lot of people to get ill. I have somehow managed to dodge a cold my whole pregnancy so far - so i am well overdue a whopper of a cold!! Eeeek!

In the time of me posting there has been like 5 other replies! lol!

Aw Pismo we will be 30 weeks on Thurs!!! I tried to update my ticker - but the website wanted me to sign in with all my details etc (must have done this yonks ago) and I don't want to receive 2 emails a week. Was going to just delete my ticker but I like seeing the wee veg/fruit the baby is like every week!

Congrats on your 30 weeks Here's Hoping!! How exciting!!

I don't count my kicks - baby is too active for me to justify needing to do it. If i don't feel baby in a while then I eat something, and pay close attention - then i usually feel movement. Have found baby has become much more active during the day recently!

Fingers crossed any colds pass over you Colettey!!

As for movement apps mothercare has a baby timer to record stuff like kicks, contractions and feeds. But also kickme, fetal movement, baby move monitor - the list goes on.

Don't think its something I am going to be doing as LO moves so often at times that I will constantly have my phone out :)

It's great to see the thread so active :) Guessing once were all on maternity leave it will go crazy!

I use the same tactics as you Colettey - Normally a bit of food or cold drink gets him/her moving quite quickly. I know its a physiological reaction and that all babies do it but it just makes me feel like he/she is developing a personality.

The other day LO was moving loads, but every time OH put his hand on my tummy he/she stopped - It was really funny :D

x

Mine is the opposite Pismo. If OH puts his hand on my belly baby always kicks or wiggles just underneath his hand. My OH loves it and says that baby already knows who their daddy is.

Became a sort of auntie today as OH's brother and girlfriend had their little boy. Although annoyed about how we found out (ranted on my journal) I can't wait for little baby cuddles as he looks so cute. Can't wait for my LO to be here now.

Heres Hoping, I have washed a few bits already, due to threat of pre-term labour! I don't think it's too early. Term is 37 weeks so you're baby could be here in 7 weeks ;)

I think I have a bit of a dodgy belly, sorry tmi but had a tummy ache and been popping lots and it's not too firm!

A lot of bugs and colds going about. Hope yous all start feeling better soon.

Im still signed off with pelvic pain and will be until mat leave starts so feel like I should be doing something. When u put it like that Buggy it doesnt sound long. 7 weeks till labour watch!! Its turned dull here so think will wait to a nice breezey day to get all the littles whites on my line :)

I am prone to migraines and it seems some ladies are lucky and they improve in pregnancy and I've been unlucky! They should disappear as soon as baby is born so I hope she's not late!!

I'm actually hoping to have the baby a bit early, as bad as it sounds, what with all the bleeding and worrying and aches and pains and now feeling rubbish!

Actually, just remembered about something. I read on here somewhere yesterday about getting a lot of watery discharge when you get to the end of pregnancy. I've had it the last couple of days, I remember having it with my first too but I can't remember how far along I was then. The women that are getting it seem to be 34-38 weeks and I'm wondering if it's a sign of early labour for me? I did ask the question on the thread but it seems to have gone quiet now..

Well I'm just so fed up today :( ive had a horrendous night sleep with this dry mouth. It's split the insides of my lips and also split my tongue open! Really getting me down now. I'm awake every 20 mins sipping water and then weeing every hour because of drinking! Starting to wish I was still suspended from work because I am drained!!

Sorry to hear about your headaches. I was given co-codemol for back pain so you should be able to take something like that. I had to stop taking them because they gave me terrible acid. That ended up being worst than back pain!

I don't track movements either really. If I think he hasn't moved I give him a little prod or a cold drink and he's soon back kicking. Sometimes I think I just switch off!

Anyway thought I would gross you all out with pics of my poor mouth :( they are a bit blurry tho xx
