*** June 2015 Mummies ***

Buggy - Im not sure, have never heard about that. Could you ask a mw? I have noticed a lot of discharge recent, though some days are better than others. The other day I had so much I had to stick a pad in.

Charlie - that looks so painful, poor u. Whats causing your dry mouth? Could u put vaseline on it? I have been eating loads of fruit lollys, like those cheap rocket ones you get a box for a £1 in asda or tesco. Find it helps quench my thirst a bit, could maybe help reduce your toilet trips x

Oh charlie you poor thing. Make yourself a GP appointment and demand a saliva replacement gel, will hopefully return the moisture back but also stop you having to pee so ofteb as you aren't drinking so much. That looks so painful!

Xx

Ouch Charlie! Hope you get that sorted.

I don't know Heres Hoping, to be honest my MW is pretty rubbish. I asked her about transferring my care to a different hospital, she said to go and visit first. Said they're every weekend at 2pm, no need to book, just turn up. Well, I don't have a lot of faith in her so I rang them and they don't do tours any more! So glad I didn't arrange a babysitter and go over there!

Oh Charlie that looks so sore!!! Defo go see GP asap! Ouch :(

Haha Buggy, they sound useless!! No idea how the NHS is functioning! They are a total mare!

I am hoping baba comes early too :). Would hate to think how sore my pelvis would be if i went 2 weeks over and also induction sounds horrific. I arrived on my due date and my wee sister was a week early, so am praying I will not go past my due date - please please.

My first was 8 days late but hoping now I've given birth twice things will happen more quickly.

If I carry on having problems I could end up having baby very early, hoping to get to term still!

I know our hosp has stopped tours as well Buggy, think its part of infection control. Are you going ahead with a transfer?

Can I ask, what are you ladies using for night and nap times? Last time I had a moses basket up stairs and a crib down stairs. Our girl didnt seem to sleep well in it but it didnt really matter as it was lent to us. This time around I've only got a moses basket as my friend is pregnant her self and will need her crib. I dont know what to do, whether I should get a crib of our own to keep down stairs for naps or make do with a moses basket. I dont like the idea of putting lo upstairs for naps alone so will have to bring moses basket down in mornings and up again at night. What do yous think? Im prob over thinking this lol x

We just moved the Moses Basket around to where we needed it with out first x

Not with the frame though! We left that upstairs, just put the basket on the floor x

Haha, I can't keep up with this post now.. Get home from work to over 2 pages of posts.

Bubba was active again last night and a few kicks today at work, they seem to like it when I lay on my back so hopefully wake them up.

I've gained a fair bit though still think I'm doing well considering I had images of me gaining about 4 stone lol.. Im at 21lbs with 11 weeks to go so happy with that.

Charlie hope your ok, sorry yesterday was such a sad day for you. And your poor mouth, it looks sore. We are going for a yummy Chinese next month on our first wedding anniversary. Should be good.

I'm missing cheeses, I'd love a bit of Stilton or pate on crumpets, a friend of mine started back on the pate at 39 weeks, said worst case she will sick her baby out. Lol

Wow 30 weeks already, then single week countdown starts...

Ordered a few bits today, cot matress, cot paint and waterproof cover for snuz pod. Can't believe how quick it's all coming round.

I get a feeling our bubba will be early, a friend of mine is currently 4 days over and wants it out now...

Apparently our hospital does online you tube and virtual tour though if I'm still interested can get one after my antenatal classes when I'm 35/36 weeks.. I don't even know where the labour ward is...eek!!

Anyway antiD day tomorrow... Then can pick up my bits I'm having delivered to waitrose. Exciting...and gonna post up my first tri3 bump pic. Bit of a long post I know. Hope everyone ok x

I'm just doing my birth plan on the NHS website, has anyone else done theirs yet?

Buggy - nope, i didn't even know this existed! Is it an English thing? Or can anyone go on and see this birth plan thing? Not sure I have been told about it.

Good luck with Anti D Lucy - is totally fine. And love the bump photo - we are really coming on now! Proper bumps hehe!

Here's hoping i am the same. Am still back and forth between crib and moses basket. I really like the look of a Troll bedside crib - nice white wood one. That should last baby the first 5/6 months. But not sure what baby will sleep in downstairs. Maybe the carry cot...

I kinda want a moses basket too but realise I am in danger of first mum syndrome - of buying one of everything when am sure I really won't need so much!! Is so hard to know what to do tho! No idea what baby will like sleeping in till they arrive!!

Funnily enough I was looking at this earlier. I think I know mostly what id like, but wanted to see what they have on there.

What are you thinking, Buggy? One thing I know I want is to catch baby myself, not sure how practical that is, but I want either myself or oh to be the first to touch baby. X

I am thinking of getting this- http://www.amazon.co.uk/Koo-DI-Sun-...TF8&colid=2ARYF7GFR6DJD&coliid=I3KZVUSJN8GE8Q

We have a crib for upstairs and a small 2 bed house so have no issue with putting baby upstairs for nap times but thought this would be great for taking to other people's houses such as my mum's for baby to nap in as it folds up. Also thinking summer baby that it will be good for when out in the garden as it has a sun shade. Might find I use this for downstairs naps too. Have been tempted for ages to get a poddlepod too but thought I might wait and see if I get any vouchers or anything when I leave work.

Colletteypie I assume it's a UK thing..?

Bethyboo87 that sounds like it could be tricky, although might be easier in the water? Otherwise get OH to do it!
I know I'm going to need more monitoring because of the problems I've had. I won't be allowed in the birth centre either so quite gutted about that. I'm quite adamant about not being on the monitor the whole time and stuck in bed though. I want to at least get in the bath for a bit and be able to move around. Just have gas and air like with my first.

That looks good babyscotcher, good price as well! Coletteypie im a second time mum and still feel the need to buy everything lol. Texted hubby to see what he thought and turns out hes thinking the same. So I might get my crib after all now. I just have visions of me stressed out carrying it up and down with two squealing children lol.

Buggy I never had a birth plan last time as it was a planned section. As im hoping for a vbac I really would like to do one but nobody has mentioned it yet. Thanks for the link, will look it up and do my own then. Hopefully we'll all get the births we want.

is anyone else obsessed with babys position? Ive a real active one and movement seems to change position all the time, is anyone else the same? At moment i think they are transverse but i find it hard to tell. I know ive loads of time yet but im so paranoid I'll have another breech and therefore another section!! x

Thanks Buggy! I've never seen or heard of this. I think is NHS England cos NHS scotland is different and I don't have a log on or anything! However I will make my way through this and Prob print out for my own benefit :-)!

My baby is still head down. Can tell by the kicks. Seems to be his or her position of choice - which is pretty good for birth etc but what is causing extra pressure on my pelvis!

Haha glad to hear isn't just first time mums that go shop crazy hehe! xx

Oh Emma, sorry to hear the headaches aren't easing up. Do you get them normally or are they directly linked to pregnancy?

Papella don't know how you do 7 on 7 off when pregnant! Used to do it in my old job and it was always the most miserable week. I currently only have four working weeks left :) I seriously can't wait, so ready for mat leave!

Can't sleep as I have caught some form of the plague I think ;) - not stopped coughing, sneezing, snotting and aching all night :( all o want to do is take some form of lemsip and cough suppressant then and sleep.

Xx

I'm still just about managing couldn't do it if it was working days mind! I'm very much a night owl haha

I will probably use our carrycot fort he pram when downstairs - It has a suitable mattress and I don't see the reason in us buying yet another thing for LO to sleep in (not got the space - let alone the money!).

I went through my birth plan with the VBAC midwife a while back but I still have the option of printinf the one off the NHS website just for further clarification.

OBEM shortly - Who's watching along with us?

x

I'm not watching it tonight. Will catch another night. Hope is good - not totally loved the series so far as much as previous ones. Tho the hospital and staff are great - Charlie it looks like you will be well looked after!

We will watch it tomorrow on record, shattered as was up at 5 for work, least I get a cheeky day off tomorrow for my anti D. I'd have to leave work about 9am for my appointment so no point going in for it, lol..
