Think am gonna get the same monitor as you Lucy. Have heard is a good one for the price versus similar models.

Am sure the sensor monitor will freak me out every time it goes off tho!!

I've had my eye on the Angelcare sensor pad monitor for a while. It's got money off on amazon just now compared to the price in mothercare etc.

Oh wow! I've just got an email from a lady that runs a baby blog, I entered her comp last month and she's just messaged me to say I've won! It's the complete Tommee Tippee starter kit with steriliser, bottles, teats etc. It's worth about £110! She'll be sending it out to me in the post!

Thats awesome heybabya. I have bought that set and it has loads in it. I am having sleep issues the last few nights. Struggle to get to sleep and then when I do I wake up because of the most peculiar dreams. How irritating. X

Got the same monitor as your Charlie during the Argos sale a couple of weeks back - Got it for £99. Thought I may as well whilst it was in the sale.

Rings are still in place at the moment Lucy - although the marks my socks make on my ankles are getting worse!!

I failed my exam by 6% the other day - Broke down in tears at work, was so upset as I had tried really hard to revise but I just made such silly mistakes. My boss is putting it down to baby brain and I get to re-take in three weeks time. My brains has literally turned to mush during this pregnancy.

One of my colleagues mentioned a theory called placenta brain (or something along those lines) that suggests that once a woman becomes pregnant her main focus is on the survival of her baby and therefore everything else comes second - Then went on to say that this lasts for a child's infancy too and that is why I cant remember the day of the week let alone the four types of shock and what causes them!

Lol, sorry for the rant How is everyone else doing?

Well I am finally allowed back to work! They just called and asked me to come back tonight! Short notice ha! Happy to no longer be branded a danger of working with children!! Absolute joke it was. Only 6 more weeks until maternity tho! Woo hoo! Xx

Well back from my midwife appt, was a bit all over the place as she was training.. Lol.. Anyway says I'm measuring 2 weeks under, but didnt measure as well as the lady at my last appointment. She just plonked the tape measure on me and bam... Apparently I'm still in the limit though, I'm not gonna worry too much as she didn't try as hard when measuring, Bubba's heartbeat good and strong and was kicking the midwife lol.. Had all my bloods taken again and booked in a breast feeding class. I think I have something every single week at the moment lol.

Glad they are letting you back to work charlie. Must be a relief, you can count down now anyway!!

Furniture dilemma!!

Ordered furniture which was £699 from somewhere in Europe (can't remember lol) and another nursery set has been delivered.. On their website it's £1110 so might be better quality but pics don't look as nice... It's flat packed so do we build it and see if we like it?? ARGH

Hi ladies wanted to pop in and say hello I'm 27 weeks tomorrow. purchased my pram today so I'm excited that one thing is out the way. We went for the iCandy strawberry 2 in the smoothie colour-we r team pink !just need focus on getting items for babies nursery. I haven't had the finances to go mad so it's one thing at a time for me but now have the ball rolling x

I'm the same bubblegum, just one thing at a time. Just trying to get furniture at the mo! But otherwise nursery is done!

Boobs have been leaking at night while I'm sleeping but last night I was sitting on the couch watching TV and felt a wetness on my top and hey presto they've started doing it while i'm awake. Also sitting tonight and it feels like they have turned to stone they really hurt! :S Oh let the fun begin! hah
