*** June 2015 Mummies ***

Thanks all. Just have to wait and see what happens. At least baby is looking healthy at the moment. Little sod ;)

Aww buggy, that sounds scary, hope everything is ok.

Hope exam went well Pismo.

I'm feeling really hormonal today. Was just talking to my mum and got upset because I asked her to prompt my dad whether he is gonna get anything for bubba,(they aren't together but still get on) she actually told me to grow up which isnt like my mum ( I said I'm a hormonal pregnant woman so what do you expect) MIL got car seat, my mum got snuz pod and my dad still nothing. My parents went halves on cot for my niece when she was born 4 years ago and my bro chose a stupidly expensive one because parents were paying, I know he will get something when LO here but he is a nightmare and is never organised with everything. I'd rather hi get something we need. He even gave my 4 year old niece £100 for euro disney next month, what's a 4 year old gonna spend that on. So it's not like he has no money, he hasn't even taken 5 mins to look at our wish list, and to top it off he thought a pregnancy was 46 weeks, no dad your next grandchild will be here in around 12 weeks. Aargh!! Had to rant. Just fed up as sometimes feel he shows more interest in my brother as gave him His first grandchild. It's not even about the money side of it just want him to show some interest.

Ahh buggy sounds scary but glad babs is nice and healthy.

Well I've been and bought some things for my hospital bag, towels, Breast pads, slippers, night dress, thin dressing gown, few mini toiletries too :)
I also bought a grow egg today on offer for £13 :) bargain! Xx

Guess who got to spend Mothers Day in hospital... lucky old me!

We were out at a zoo and felt a gush, more bleeding. Bright red this time so I had to go straight to the nearest hospital. They thought there could be something wrong with the placenta and gave me steroid injections to strengthen the babies lungs in case they need to be delivered early. They kept me in overnight and the bleeding eased off which is a good sign apparently. i had another scan and they said the placenta looked fine and the baby seems healthy so they let me go home about 5.30pm yesterday. Just need to keep an eye on things. If it is the placenta there will be more bleeding so I just need to go straight back to hospital.

Another thing, they said the baby is a boy! I guess the last consultant got it wrong, although we're still unsure it looks like it might be a boy after all!

How awful for you to go through that. Glad baby looks healthy though, look after yourself!! Xx

Thank you!

I was thinking when they were saying about having the baby early. I really should sort out some baby clothes and a hospital bag!!

My fears exactly buggy! I'm high risk for preterm labour and my OH would be useless shopping for maternity and Breast pads haha!

Xx

Anyone giving one born another go? We are watching now on plus one. Looking forward to seeing the section as its what I'll be having and same hospital! Bit scared to watch too! Xx

I watched it. Not finding this series that interesting for some reason. Maybe I've watched too many and been through it myself twice, there's not much news in it anymore!

I'm loving it! Loved seeing the section but think it's coz its my hospital, makes it more interesting.

Got the grow egg from John Lewis babyscotcher :) xx

Will have a look when I get paid on Friday.

I had a random episode of sickness this afternoon. Exactly like morning sickness in that it came and then felt much better afterwards and been fine since. Hoping that it was just a one off as can't be dealing with that all over again. X

I'll be watching one born later on catchup. Got an exciting delivery coming today (to the MIL's) in the form of bubba's wheels,.. Slightly excited:)

So exciting! What one did you get? Ours came ages ago now lol. but it's a MILs so the novelty hasn't worn off yet. Can't wait to get baby in there!

Oh my god my heartburn is unreal! I have pain all the time now pretty much, even after just cereal and milk in the morning. I'm knocking back the Rennies like they're a packet of sweets! I don't think it's that bad that I need to see the doctor or anything, but it's just there all the time urgh! xx

We went for the icandy peach 3, even hubby liked it as usually the men just go along with us, lol

Bubba is so active today it's hilarious, I don't usually notice them during the day when I'm doing things but today is totally different. I was even walking round tesco and could feel kicking.

I still get the reflux bethyboo. Worse when I lay down at night, I got a huge bottle of gaviscon on prescription. X

Bethy I would use liquid gavison rather than tabs. I find the tabs don't help me at all. I need the extra strong liquid now or doesn't help!! I use the minty one - can't do aniseed - boke.

Been to GP and he said I could drink the stuff - has no effect on baby. But he wouldn't give me anything stronger cos apparently unless you are actually wretching acid then is too dangerous a risk to take anything else (especially long term). Is so horrible tho :(

Hi ladies, been v busy past few days so only getting caught up on. Nice to see this thread really taking off! :)

Buggy that sounds so scarey, no body wants to hear theres a possibly baby will be delivered early. Ur a june mummy so no skipping the queue lol are u able to get any rest now your home? Easier said that done with a toddler.

Pismo hope your exam went well, I dont know how u managed it. When do u get the results?

Coletteypie how did your physio go?

Cant believe its time to think about birth plans and hosp bags....arghhh!! Im so disorganised with this baby, feeling a bit guilty that im not making as much as an effort this time around. Need to start throwing stuff into a bag, dug out some of my big night dresses I used last time so bit of a start.

Hows everyone feeling these days? I feel like my bump is so stretched already! x

P.s im drinking the peppermint peptac like it's out of fashion, heartburn has been awful recent. Esp acid reflux at night! The aniseed one reminded me of sambuca or some sort of shot...rotten lol x

Urgh the aniseed one is rank. I had to specifically ask for peppermint on my prescription,

I'm seeing the midwife on Tuesday - she can't sort me a prescription, can she? It's such a faff trying to get to the GP around work xx

Maybe phone your GP bethyboo and see if they will prescribe over the phone, mine done this when I said I didn't want to waste an appointment to get something for indigestion because I'm pregnant, x
