*** June 2015 Mummies ***

My kicks are high now rachyroo. Could be positioning or something.

With regards to BFing always worth talking to friends etc who have done it, I'm lucky as my bestie and cousin done it, getting suggestions/ advice etc off people helps too.

I had the longest nap ever this afternoon, 3 hours again lol.. Must have needed it. Had lovely catch up with my bestie too. She was doing really well after her mmc, her LG must have really helped ease the pain. Such a cutie. They are going to try again soon and she opened up about it and asked me loads about my pregnancy which was lovely.

Anyone getting breast pain? ? My right boob feels tender and tight like someone's punched it!

Hi ladies,

Hope everyone is well!
does anyone else get kicks and movement almost entirely below the belly button? I have almost nothing higher up and wonder what that might mean for baby's position. Ive still not had my 28 week appointment and am 29 weeks...grrrr.

Don't worry, I only feel movement low down and haven't felt anything that feels like a kick or punch in around 6weeks! All I get is vibrations and rolling around so I assumed baby was still breech but he's now head down and my placenta is prosterior and not low. His feet are up in my ribs and I get pain when I bend over or sometimes feel like my ribs are throbbing like I've bruised them so I assumed he's kicking them x

I had this in tri 2, it was just one boob and it was gone in a couple of days, I think it was a blocked milk duct x

My boobs do get achy every now and then too. But haven't been too bad recently. Am a bit nervous my milk won't come in as I don't have leakage :-(! Never thought Id be concerned at not having leaky boobs!

Am pleased my bump is sitting a lot higher up, so a bit of pressure off my pelvis! Tho once I get to 36 weeks I think it all goes back down again haha. But I finish work around then so should be able to cope.

Only 4 weeks left at work!!! Eeeeek!

I have had the same thought about leaky boobs Coletteypie but my mum assures me she didnt have any leakage before having me or my brother and she breastfed us both so fingers crossed.

My bump was quite uncomfortable last night and had quite a few Braxton Hicks. Hope that doesnt become a trend.

Shame about the weather this weekend, anyone got any intesting plans? X

It was forecast to be bad weather here but it's lovely! I'm in the hairdressers atm, will be my last visit before baby is here!

My mums boobs started leaking at 3months and she didn't produce enough to feed me so I wouldn't worry about it. Mine have only done it a couple of times (though they were OTT to be fair!) x

Yeah has turned out not bad up here belfa! Is my baby shower tomorrow but think weather looks rubbish for it! Will keep fingers crossed.

Am having my first cup of raspberry leaf tea! Got from Holland and Barrett. Is flavoured with raspberry - so it makes it taste lovely! I like flavoured teas Tho!

Hope you are ara having a great weekend :-)

My cousin said her milk didn't come until after her girls were born. The lady at the BF class thought us about self expressing, not sure but might try nearer due date. See if anything comes out.

Today started horrible and wet, hubby ran me into town so I popped to a couple of shops as needed to get some birthday presents.

Hubby started painting the cot, still couple of coats to go but looks lush.

Think I've had a few BH today, tummy keeps going hard, either that or bubba in awkward position. Started packing my hospital bag too., just got to add my clothes aNd baby's clothes once I've washed and sorted them. I have so much stuff lol..

Lovely pic wannabmummy.

Hope everyone having nice weekend xx

Lovely pic wannabmummy :) very cute!

I'm 31 weeks tomorrow! I'm also having my baby shower! Hoping the weather will be wrong and it will be lovely but it does say rain :( we have a huge balcony at our venue so would be lovely to use it! Xx

Aww lovely pic wannabemummy.

I am going to another friend's baby shower tomorrow so hope the weather is not too bad.

I have spent the day sorting out baby's room so it is now all ready. There is little baby clothes hanging up in the wardrobe which is so cute. Will just have to wash them all nearer the time. Set the pram up too. X

Baby shower madness today then! Ahhh so excited for mine :-)! Enjoy yours charlie! Hope you get out onto that balcony!!

I am useless at gender guesses but both pictures are lovely.

I seem to have an upset stomach which is no fun at all. Especially as I was meant to be going to a friend's baby shower this afternoon. Decided not to go as not only do I feel horrid but I dont want to pass it on to anyone else if it is a bug. Feeling a bit sorry for myself. :-( x

Hope colettypie and charlie had nice baby showers.

I've been really twingey lately, to the point it's rather uncomfortable. Still not sure if it's BH or baby's position or just stretching... It can be really uncomfortable and happening a fair bit. Got MW tomo so will ask.

We're at a wedding today. Been a really lovely day but I'm so tired now! Came up to our room to take my contact lenses out, made the mistake of lying down 'for a minute' and I'm still here half an hour later!! Hubby has had a few drinks and is starting to irritate me! I know he rambles on when he's pissed but it is a lot less annoying when I've been drinking too - stone cold sober he's just so annoying! It's the first dance at 8 so think I'll show my face for that and then sneak off to bed! Usually love a good wedding but it's been such a long day and everything feels like such an effort now!

Not had much sleep tonight as felt so rough. Only thing I seem to be able to keep down is ice cubes so going to have to venture out this morning or ask my mum to grab me some ice lolly's to keep me going. On the plus side have only been sick once since midnight. Day off on the sofa for me today. Hope you guys have a better monday. X

Sorry your not feeling well babyscotcher, hopefully a day off will help.

Did you manage to sneak off Nomad? We don't drink and my DH is usually the first to leave as it can be boring if everyone else is drinking so I can sympathise as I'd hate to have to look after my husband if he did!

Hope Charlie and Coletteypies baby showers went well!

Just had my whopping cough jag and didn't mind what arm it went in as I tossed and turned all night anyway last night x

Awwww i had the best baby shower! It was such a brilliant day. There was cake, tea, prosecco and sandwiches everywhere! My sister arranged really fun games - guessing the bump size, i had to guess who the person was from their baby photo, and there was a board for everyone to make a guess on when i'll have baby, what weight and gender etc. And there was a baby grow paint station! So much fun.

And my friends and family were ridiculously generous with gifts despite me warning them all! I seriously received so much - the most beautiful baby grows/vests/socks/mitts, hand knitted blanket (my fave gift, was just so amazing) and cardigan, mum to be kits (I will smell amazing and have super soft skin haha), a play mat for the baby, a wee sheep toy that makes noises to comfort the baby (apparently this is a life saver), a wee kit of thermometer & nail clippers and other wee medical things (i was planning to buy something like this last weekend and my husband told me to hold off saying someone might buy us - and i was like no way, who would buy that!), and other wee small toys for the baby. I actually can't believe how many things we received - I seriously don't need to buy any clothes for the baby now! It made me so excited, all feels so real now :-o!!!

Aw that's rubbish about tossing and turning Belfa! But i reckon you will be shocked at how sore your arm is tomorrow! Mine lasted for nearly a week!

Hope you feel better Babyscotcher!
