****July 2018 Mummies - Tri 2****

Lmfao KH, my friend decided she wanted one but they said it was too late on in labor aha, felt sorry for her.
Yeah I just said I want as much pain relief idc about anything else as I wasn't allowed a water birth anymore cos of GD and can't have this time incase of another PPH. But yeah don't have your heart set on something cos most babies don't wanna play along lol.
GG - my other bro came outta hosp not long ago for it, he lost all his weight (was a big guy) just skin and bone. He was downing bottles of vodka within mins :/ don't speak to him though. My grandad also died early from it. My dad saw the signs and stopped drinking when he noticed was getting out of control. I can say no to alcohol but when I drink, i drink, all or nothing for me.
Hahaha she isn't kidding!!! At the start of this pregnancy i went for early scan and had to have a vaginal one and I had to ask if it was in there lmfao.

Oh ladies with little ones, Halford have quad bike half price, 40 quid. Bought dd one for xmas. It's 3+ but fk it ahaha

Have any of you had a text with details of a password and username to view your maternity notes online?
i had one a few weeks ago but gives you no web address to go to....useful!

Ladiss just sren on my facebook this post going round.
You know tge radox muscle soak? I was gonna buy some the otger day. This is the the post "so I was reading the back of this Radox Muscle Soak bottle to pass some time and I noticed that it contains Clary Sage. Now, I am a beauty therapist and I am qualified in aroma therapy so therefore know about the uses of essential oils! Clary Sage is an excellent pain killer but it should NEVER be used during pregnancy especially during the first and second trimesters as it actually has the power to induce labour. There is not one warning label on this bottle that says ‘do not use during pregnancy’!! I am going to report this to the company but in the mean time I’d appreciate people passing on this message to any pregnant ladies out there as this could cause some serious problems during pregnancy."

PB Ive never heard that before. But googled it and there's load of posts about it. I use it so might have to look it up a bit more. Someone said about sage inducing labour but i cant see a bit of bubble bath being enough to be honest. Or we'll alll be in it at 39 weeks haha. xx

Feeling so shit. I've lost weight with this pregnancy but it must be the way I'm carrying because I feel so crap in everything. Ordered a bunch of maternity things for our weekend away in April, and they're all going back  Sound like a moan but I never had this issue carrying DD and its just getting me down. At this stage I;m not going to have anything to leave the house in :wall: Just me?

Lmao i have this steam thing you mix oils and water and blows it out... Amazing when poorly put that olbis oil in unblocks ya nose. I have the sage ready for when im 36+ weeks aha.

Shan, go to h&m and try stuff on? See what size you need. My SIL works for newlook she said she doesnt order online because theyre always different sizes even if they say the same. X

The whole Radix thing is a load of bollocks. Yes, Clare sage oil can be deemed as causing contractions, but not bringing on labour. That won't happen until the babies lungs are developed enough and there is no evidence for clay sage oil actually working. Sage oil is a different matter and is absolutely not safe during pregnancy.

Radox is not a worry at all as it's concentration and composition is perfectly safe. There's no way it would be legally sold without a warning if it were not safe.

Being qualified in aromatherapy means fuck all unless you're also qualified as a chemist, pharmacist or doctor as well. Aromatherapy use, they can comment on. Use in other, very highly regulated products where the oils are mixed with other ingredients in quantities they don't know, they have no business condemning or stating "facts" about.

Sorry for the bluntness. My day has turned to shit. One of our horses has to be put down in the next week. He belonged to a friend who passed away she'd 32 18 months ago. I feel utterly broken. He's family.

Lol let's see if that works for you haha

Ugh I would the only place that sells maternity here is New Look. I can't be bothered but I'm going to have to suck it up and go in. I hate that all their sizes are so different in maternity. Think I'm having body issues being pregnant this time whichever is totally stupid because I'm only going to get bigger  xx

Was away to say GG but then saw this post afterwards . I'm really sorry about your horse I know you have a special connection I don't understand. Just take care of yourself and get a cuddle from Dan when he's in xx

Sorry to hear about your day GG.

Full of wind today feels horrible, just feel all gross inside!

Had a little laughing fit earlier and ended up nearly passing out because I couldn't breathe. My lungs don't seem to be working as well, maybe they're squashed or baby is stealing my oxygen? You know those laughs when you just can't stop, it was one of those. So couldn't stop laughing but also couldn't breathe which resulted in almost starving myself of oxygen and passing out.. Who said laughing was good for you hahaha

Lol...definitely baby squished lungs but fabulous to hear you had such a good giggle :)

Yes Jem there will definitely be a lot more pressure on your lungs now, sounds scary but quite funny

Been awake since 3am, husband was sleeping on the sofa due to my snoring because of my cold. Poor DD's cold must be bad, she wet the bed. She's been totally toilet trained for over a year now and the only other time she had an accident was when she had a sickness bug. Anyway she came into my bed at 3 but I got no sleep after that, she wanted to be touching noses but she was snoring so much in my face, I tried to lie the other way but kept getting her little toe nails jabbing my bum. Must cut those today

Luckily we've not got loads to do today

Some of you mentioned birth plans yesterday, I don't really have one I just with the flow but I have already written in my notes that I want delayed cord clamping and skin to skin

Shep it sounds like a bad night. Bloody colds, I swear to God my DD gets them once a month (she is coming down with one now, just in time for going away on hols!!). I hope you both feel better soon x

I get the nose to nose and breathing in your face so well - no to sweet when you are trying to sleep!

I left DD with OH last night again after she spent 40min demanding cuddles, juice, singing, talking etc. As soon as I left they both went to sleep and are asleep still!!!! Why does she do this to me?! x
