****July 2018 Mummies - Tri 2****

Lol Jem...can't believe we are so close to that Tri 3 milestone. Bonkers isn't it.

Pub was great tonight, more locals coming in that haven't bothered for years due to the poor food but the word is getting out and it's given me a great boost hearing their compliments. Every review I've had since taking over has been 5* and I'm so thrilled. Only one problem...I can no longer wash up normally. I have to stand side on or I squish the bump, lol.

Oh and KH, I am devoid of hormones as well I think and have had no cravings at all. Then again, I eat such a varied diet anyway, I'm not sure there's much I could crave that I haven't already had anyway, lol.

GG that's great about the pub. You've done so well starting something new like that pregnant and making such a success of it. So happy it's going well xx

Gosh it really is almost 3rd tri...

Not a financial success just yet but it will get there, thank you.

Morning ladies. Hope you're all well. Xx

morning ladies

lovely bump GG!

Jemrose I'm glad you're doing so much better, I can't believe it's nearly tri3 time. and I know what you mean about sex drive, mine is great, although I do have to make a move on husband early cos if it gets to 830/9im too tired and I go to bed disappointed haha

got my 24 week midwide app today, I think she forgot I'd already had a baby as usually you don't get one 2nd pregnancy but I'm glad I'm getting one now. starting to suffer with PGP quite bad which is getting me down as I'm such an active person so I'm glad I'll get to discuss it with her. i remeber being quite late on last pregnancy and looking at things on the floor and going "nah you can stay there until someone else picks you up" and I already feel like that now due to the hip pain.

Morning everyone. So tired this morning think I got about 3 hours sleep. I've woken up dying for a subway too lol

Shep I have 24 week appointment too next week, maybe it's another we miss? Or our midwives are forgetful lol. Good luck with it though I hope they can help you with your pain. Do you have a support belt maybe? Xx

Jem so glad you're having a better time of it now and getting to enjoy pregnancy for a while xx

Lmfao shep, see first preg i could do anything and didnt get the whole bending thing but ohhh i know now xD
GG great to hear your making a success of the pub x
DD slept for an extra half hour today so grateful lol x

Happy V day Shep. Although...for us 23 weekers, we're pretty much there as well. It's more and more common now for babies from 22+5 to be viable if born at this stage. There are a few videos on YouTube charting some around 23 weeks and I can't help but look at them this past week so that I can visualise what my little baby looks like in there xx

thanks PB

midwife app went well, bump is the right size, BP great and baby's HB 145.

I've been referred for physio for my PGP. midwife made me feel much better, I was feeling down and that I was unfit/weak and that was I was suffering so early on but she assured me it's because of high hormone levels and fitness/strength doesn't have anything to do with it.

having a nightmare, ran out of heating oil and no one will deliver until 19th at the earliest. obviously we've got the fire but it only really heats the living room, these old farm houses (eye roll) just one morning without any heating and DDs room is 13c

That's what we're like Shep. One wood burner in front room to heat the whole bungalow but at least it's a bungalow and doesn't have to make it to upstairs rooms. We resorted to an electric oil heater a couple of years back as the back room just never gets it. Really poor service to not come to you sooner with a young child in the house.

Unacceptable! I would keep calling and complaining, you are pregnant and have a small child at home!!! Maybe call local council for help? xx

Ahh happy v day for you and baby hun. That's fab news that baby is measuring well. Ooh was that your first bump measuring?

Hopefully the physio come see through quickly. Mine starts next week. I reckon for someone like you who is fit and active the physio will work wonders. Fx.

Oil is a nightmare, my mum has it and she had two days without when the snow hit because nobody would deliver. Still hiked the prices though cause of it! Had to spend ages phoning for her to find one. Aren't you in a criteria though being pregnant and having an under 3? I'd call back I hope you get that sorted surely they can take just leave you without? Can you maybe search emergency oil delivery, like nationwideFuels etc? Xx

Random and probably stupid but are you girls buying rompers for baby for July/August? Someone's told me I should get some in but I'm still confused as to what to do with a July newborn lol. They're all I see shopping

Also I have my first ever migraine omg I feel for anyone who gets these regularly :/

my baby will probably just be in sleep suits/vests until winter. if I see a couple of rompers I think at really pretty I'll go for it though. I really hope the old "in like a lion out like a lamb" line comes up trumps this year I'd love some warm weather. I'm already imagining DD in her paddling pool and baby chilling in her bouncer on the grass in th sunshine

I rang the oil company back, they were really apologetic but couldn't really do more. it's not their fault it's mine I thought I had another week left and planned to order before this weekend anyway but now we're out. I called up 6 different companies but will Google to see if there's something else I can try in an emergency. oh thinks I'm being soft but he would, when he was a toddler his mum and dad's farmhouse was so cold they'd find ice between bedsheets!

Shep I have the exact same picture in my head for the summer lol. I really hope it's not a shit one after what feels like the longest winter ever. I've bought some clothes where last time Ivy was pretty much in her sleepsuits too. They'll probably go to waste but it's done now. Gosh I hope you get something sorted for the oil Xx

I dont know what a romper is?
Ive bought him shorts and stuff. DD was born middle of august but we didnt have a nice day after that really, didnt need the fan on in room or anything.

I always thought a romper was like an all in one but just shorts and short sleeves

Yeah pretty much what it is. Shorts and stuff I guess pretty much the same thing lol. Was just curious as to what everyone was doing, dd was a newborn in winter...so the complete opposite of what I had to do with her lol. Xx

Morning ladies. I just felt hiccups and they weren't mine <3<3<3

I can't believe it looking at my ticker. It's over half way! I am very lucky we got pregnant as quickly as we did, but honestly, I used to look at other expectant mums tickets this far along and just dream about what that would be like. Now it's me. The rawness of losing pregnancies is very much still with me and Dan but honestly, I feel so very blessed.

Talking of Dan. He had a bad day at work yesterday. I really feel for him. He's been so determined to be prepared and up to speed on everything, his work has suffered a bit and he got spoken to yesterday. I had a bloody annoying night at the pub...just with an ungrateful rude twat who moaned about his free half time skittles meal being 3 minutes early!!! Then some crap over a special for the rugby where no one will give me numbers. Nothing in comparison to Dan's day but I'd messaged him about it already and so the first thing he did when I walked through the door was give me a huge hug. He wouldn't have told me about his day if I hadn't of asked bless him. So, new plan. Working from home is still fairly foreign to him so I've decided to set his schedule for him now to get him into more of a routine. He's already feeling relieved at the thought of it love him. It's hard working from home with lots of distractions but thankfully I've done it for years.

I do feel for new dad's...I don't think we really understand the pressures they feel under.
