Jem, i went to like every scan apart from like 1 with dd. Hubby missed it all. Dont feel down you can take him a pic. Its not horrible being alone, infact i think theyre nicer to you if your alone lol x

Jem I went to my 20 week on my own when dd was sick. It's fine and at least oH was there for the first part of it with you anyway xx

Shep thanks, I'm not sure yet, I have the first date but I haven't seen the midwife or anything since before I got the appointment. So ill not know until I go either to the midwife or physio I think. I'll just have to wait and see if they give me anything I don't already do xx

Bloody snow!! Woke up to no power... phone at 3% and no tv or wifi to kill time until I left for work. It took me 1hr20min to arrive at the office (normally 15min). Hate snow. Ok, moan over

My belly is also itchy, was particularity bad last week, making my around belly button stretchmarks really viable!

Jem, going to scans alone is not too bad, you will be absolutely fine x

Shan, really sucks to be in pain. Maybe you should make the appointment, they could speed up your physio? x

Well i haven't been fine. I was already upset as thought my mum was coming and she wasn't so I've already cried once. Then I got stuck in traffic so I cried again. Got to the hospital 10 minutes late and then couldn't find a space so I was crying again. Eventually just dumped my car and said fuck it! Got into the hospital just now so half an hour late crying my eyes out and an absolute mess. They said not to worry and I can still have the scan. I never ever want to do this on my own again. I hate the city where the hospital is, I'm not used to it at all and I hate driving here on my own. Then stuck in traffic and not finding a space - if I wasn't on my own I could have jumped out the car and let whoever was with me find the space. Safe to say it's not a good day x

Oh Jem, that sounds horrible for you. How did the scan go? Did they manage to get all the measurements? I have mine on Monday and will be going alone as well but I'm okay with that, will just get pics for Dan.

Jem our main hospital is the same way, was was looking for somehwrre to park for over an hour then i had to get out and go alone. Waited an hour for my appoitment (theu were running late) and hubby still couldnt find a place. Its the hospital i have to give birth. So we cant go into labour at visiting times ahaa.
Hope your scan was ok and your feeling better. Treat yourself to some nice lunch!

Well i had a letter saying i have a penalty charge for not paying for my prescription. Fuck off. Im maternity exempt until sep 2018 for dd and now Aug 2019 for this pregnancy. I called them and they was like have you moved since you had it, yes. He said well yout meant to phone up ans change it becauae it just chexks yoir address. Well wtf how is anyone supposed to know that, jusy assume it changes with your medical records. Honestly. Ffs. Well he said hes cancelled it. Trying to charge me 52 fking quid man.

Jem that sounds rubbish. I'm sure hormones arent helping you today. Sometimes the little things can make you hysterical in pregnancy. At least you got to see baby again. Did they manage to get everything they needed? Maybe go get yourself a coffee or something hun xx

Losing my shit a little myself. On hold to Asda for 30 minutes because half my stuff wasn't available and I wasnt charged for it they said. Aye course I bloody was. Teach me to not online shop for food, I swear every single time

KHTW I'm just going to wait, its in a fortnight, I don't think I'd get quicker than that. I'm going to try and not moan about it every 5 seconds lol. I hope that's your last power cut!! We've been told there may be a red warning but I really dont think its going to be much worse here. DD is thrilled. She said this morning " Thats the most snow in my life" lol xx

Apparntly scotland is getting hit hard again tonight.
We barely have any. Freezing though. Even with heating on wont get past 15 in the house. Glad to be having another summer baby aha. KH hope the power cut doesnt last long!!

PB £52 my god id rather suffer lol. Prescriptions are free here. Dentist is bad enough. Lol I know Ive learned not to online shop (for food), but I was thinking with how bad our snow was going to be I'd get stuff delivered. Fuckers haha xx

Ugh apparently we actually do have a red alert here. OH leaves for work at 4.30am so I'm going to not be able to sleep again until he texts me :/ What I would give for some daffodils and sun ! Xx

DD has been outside sledging and playing in the snow, they are back in now for some hot choc so I'm told.

Jem I hope your scan went well? Parking is always a nightmare!

Shan, we have no problem with our asda online shopping. Always get what we ordered and packed nicely. Can't complain really x

We got our crib 2nd hand (looks new!) for £80! Score Which one did you go for??

We used Dr Brown's with DD and it worked fine (apart from the stupid filters sometimes falling off) so we will stick with them. Already have a sterling to just need bottles but they are pricey! Will have to have a look on ebay xx

I didn't want one at first cause DD's is in perfect condition but then I remember the pain of having to get up from bed to see to her where with the next to me crib you can reach them no problem. And if this baby sleeps anything like DD then god knows I will need this crib x

my online food shop is usually great. the only time I worry is Christmas

we've had another great morning in the snow, it's so deep. my hips are sore now so staying in this afternoon I think

I've stopped buying for baby. although I did see the new TY Peter rabbit beanies and ordered two (one for each of the girls) as we love Peter Rabbit and since DD has so many rabbit teddies I thought I should get baby one of her own

I think most hospitals are the same re parking. my husband very nearly missed the 20 weeks scan. he was working and I was literally in the car about to leave, he had to come in wellies and scruffs, then at the hospital I had to jump out so he could find a space. they were really nice though and waited the 15 mins for him to get in. I think lots of women do things like scans on their own

I would love a next to me crib but we've got a practically new swinging crib from John Lewis as well as a Moses basket and cot so ill be saving my money. although my SIL has one and I'm hoping she might offer me it while she's in between babies

Happy days thats a bloody great deal! I did look for them 2nd hand but couldn't find any in my area. I got it from mothercare in the (barely a sale) sale just next 2 me dream in delicacy which looks grey with some flowery stuff on it. Only one they had that went with my room lol

I had tommee tippee last time and I don't like them for me personally though the steriliser is great. So I'm open to all options xx

Give her a little nudge hun lol. I'd not have bothered if I had any of DDs stuff but I gave it all to family etc.

I'm all for trying to save money this time. Bought so much stuff for dd that was just a waste. We had a brand new swinging crib for dd and she hated it so that was a waste. Though I really do think it was because she spent so long in hospital with me in the little glass cots they had and got used to being really snug. I was gutted lol xx
