On another note, anyone thinking conraception after birth? After dd i didnt (obviously) because i didnt want the effects on my body. But now im more on the i really dont want another slip up, when weve had a drink we dont carw about protection sooooo what were you guys on before?

I don't know yet. I've decided I'm never going back on the pill. I don't like the idea of a coil or anything that goes inside me. :/ OH isn't wanting condoms but I'm afraid that will have to do him until I decide. Or we'll never have sex again lol xx

Scan was okay, they didn't get everything they needed so have to go back next week. Baby boy is growing absolutely perfectly and slightly below average so those dicks last time telling me baby will be big can piss off haha. We discussed birthing and the option of caesarean but we'd prefer to wait to see how baby grows first x

What led them to talk c section for you?

Glad it all went well. I have to wait until 5th March for my scan part two!

Pretty much decided we won't use any contraception unless we are told for some reason not to try for more children. If we fall pregnant again, we'll be thrilled at this age so will just let whatever happens, happen.

C section for the risk factor of baby getting stuck as higher risk of bigger baby. But I'm only willing to take that route if baby is actually big.

So much to catch up on, sorry will try and catch up later lol.

I'm happy about the baby being a boy. Little disappointed but overall very happy xx

Im thinking the injection tbh seems easy. The coil no way watxhes this thing of a woman having one she was nearly crying from pain.

GG, you can get pregnant easily after giving birth as yoir cervix is still wider than normal meaning more sprem getting in!

I've tried a few and it just makes me crazy. Plus weight gain and when I came off it my cycles were an absolute mess. But my periods go super light which is a huge plus. It's definitely one to think about xx

it'll be a coil for me after this baby for a little while. I hate hormonal contraception. just for a year or so until husband gets the snip

Obviously some people are fine on the pill but no matter which I try it messes my hormones up so much. And it bothered me seeing how bad it actually affected my cycles and ovulation. If I did want another I think I'd struggle again when I came off it. I'm only 26 but still. It also gives me high bp. Didn't when I was younger and just used it for heavy periods but does now so I don't know what I'll be doing. The midwife asked me at my booking had I thought about contraception for after baby I was like woah let me at least give birth first lol xx

I've had two coils, the first pre-baby and honestly it was the worst pain ever, like the intensity of it was way worse then childbirth but it did only last 20 seconds. second time was 12wpp and I did not feel a thing. I couldn't believe it after the pain of the first one. highly recommended

the pill always made me a moody cow and when I was on the mini pill just before ttc I had 0 sex drive

Omfg I'm 25 not 26 what is wrong with me.

Shep that sounds bloody awful! I'm put off for life lol. I just hear so many things about when they move etc that freak me out. Maybe coils are less painful if you've had a baby though?

Im out of options lol. Also this sounds so stupid but condoms are so expensive. Plus oH will whine like there's no tomorrow about them since he's not had to for years xx

I'm okay thanks shan. It's OH who isn't. He's put a downer on the whole day and is really disappointed. Tried to be upbeat and happy and look at baby clothes but he just kept going off to the girls clothes and wouldn't participate. I hope he comes round soon as we are having a boy and nothing we can do about that. I'm just happy it's a healthy baby who is growing perfectly.
Obviously I have a tiny bit of disappointment in my heart as I was desperate for a girl. But I'm having a boy and he will be so loved. Just wish OH would stop being negative about it x

Yay. Wonder which one of us will have baby first!! I kinda wanna last till 40 weeks cos dd came at 38 (ill regret this) just took me by surprise i wasnt ready!!

Lol shan are you sure its gg with brain damage im sure she can remember her own age!!! Hahaha.
Me and hubby have never used condoms, LOL. Well i had this thing called vaginismus basucally couldnt have anything up my vag, so we didnt have sex for 3 years, then finally overcame it and then we just missed ovulation for 2 years i think lool.
Shep I think things going in your vag is easier after youve given birth. Your muscles are all fked and your bigger ahaha. I could never have a smear, now id probably be fine.
