haha I think a lot of people find it weird but obviously in my line of work I just watch other animals gobble it uphaha. I couldn't eat it fried or in a shake like some do but the capsules I'd really like. I did look online last time but the only company I found near me charged a lot. will ask MW

I'm interested in the capsules but it does seem expensive. Let me know what the midwife says about it hun. I may tell oh I'm planning to eat it just to watch his face try going from horrified to supportive haha. He's still scarred from just looking at it in the bucket lol, though I never saw it. Xx

I'm clearly going to be a bad mummy. I see things on eating placenta or capsules and just think, nope. Don't even look into it. Not the most adventurous person so it seems, lol

haha see my husband pushes (gently) this kind of thing. I'm not a proper earth mother but I swear oh would be. I'm very pro breastfeeding but I'd never dream of telling anyone they are wrong for not doing it whereas my husband cannot get his head around why people dont breastfeed. I mean he's not outwardly rude but both me and my mil have to remind him not to say anything if he can't be supportive of their choices.

I've read a few papers about placenta encapsulation being good for warding off PND which I think I might benefit from

Pills dont sound bad, but taking it home and cooking it up like a steak aha sounds vileeee.

The PND aspect is interesting for definite (I'm ignoring all the rest of you, sincerely the cannibals haha) That seems to be what I read. I'd probably leave it if it was super expensive mind you. But I'd like to know what the midwife says. I guess for your OH with his job he sees it every day and just sees it as all so natural xx

Had our scan! 110% girl. Got loads of really good shots and it was really clearly a little girl so I'm chuffed xx

On another note, anyone thinking conraception after birth? After dd i didnt (obviously) because i didnt want the effects on my body. But now im more on the i really dont want another slip up, when weve had a drink we dont carw about protection sooooo what were you guys on before?

Scan was okay, they didn't get everything they needed so have to go back next week. Baby boy is growing absolutely perfectly and slightly below average so those dicks last time telling me baby will be big can piss off haha. We discussed birthing and the option of caesarean but we'd prefer to wait to see how baby grows first x
