Oh and to add to the fire ... she's due on my birthday .... YAYYYYYYYY
Well I remember you were looking forward to have a baby due on your birthday so there you go lol. Honestly, just think that you will get a little niece/nephew that will be a playmate for your little bundle of joy. Forget about your sister! x
Might just run away and enjoy my baby with nobody else haha x
So much to catch up on!
Lovely scan pic
Sounds like theres a lot of colds going round right now which sucks... fingers crossed they pass quickly
Shan my due date is 10th July. Been a bit nervous this week about the anomaly scan at 20 weeks because of my diabetes... its well controlled but so many risks... I think now that Im passed 12 and not worrying about miscarriagwnive swapped onto worrying about something else!
No prob Hun. Ah that's right you're type 1 right? I don't know much about it just have a friend with it since we were kids and she's been wanting to ttc for a while but isn't ready to deal with it. I hope it's going smoothly for you so far. Xx
Yeah I can totally relate - we put it off for quite a while as well and then finally thought if we dont do it now we never will! Its definitely tough because theres so much to think about and you have to be soooo careful but luckily I know a few other t1s who have had kids so I know it can work out ok and theyve been giving me tips. It means I get lots of extra scans and appointments though so thats reassuring![]()
That's good, it sounds like they really look after you. I'm sure it must feel scary sometimes but I'm sure everything will be fine.
That's great you have people who have been through the same thing, that in itself must be so reassuring. I never even realised pregnacy could be an issue with type 1 until my friend told me. She still loses complete control of hers so she's giving it a while. Makes perfect sense I guess. Feel free to educate us lol. Def let us know when all your extra scans are so we can give a little support! I hope you have a healthy pregnancy throughout hun xx

Jem, just whatever she says to try to bring you down, turn it into a positive. Really easy when you get the hand of it.
She says, "oh, is yours not rolling over yet? Mine has been for weeks".
You say, "Nope, she doesn't feel the need to get away from me".
She says, "Well I'm going to breastfeed for at least a year, why are you giving up?"
You say, "Oh, I'm not...I just want dad to have the bonding experience as well, and I'm a much happier mum when I get more sleep...How are you coping? You look really tired".
She says, "I don't like that brand of baby wipes, did you know they received poor reviews".
You say, "Did you know most bad reviews come from mums who like to just put other mums down? Silly really isn't it (laughing)".
You see where I'm going. Just be 100% confident in what you're doing and leave her to her own insecurities. xx
So much to catch up on!

Definitely! Its like this forum so reassuring to have people to talk to and compare experiences with! Did you book your gender scan in the end?
Does anybody else get the occasional over bearing urge to punch their OH in the face repeatedly with a brick? xx
