****July 2018 Mummies - Tri 2****

My back is so so so painful today :( I'm walking (waddling) and everything is so stiff. Just ordered a bump support band and hoping it might help. Can imagine things just getting worse as I get bigger lol.

How is everyone else doing with back pain or general aches and pains?? x

That's not so good. Might be worth mentioning at your next midwife appointment. I've heard of other people using those bump support bands and they've helped a bit.

I keep getting round ligament pain when I sneeze. I've had a cold this week and keep thinking my stomach's going to split open with every sneeze!

I get sharp pains in my lower back and butt. It's worse after doing stuff. My back also gets more sore overnight as I struggle to get comfy even with my pillow. I think having maternity clothes has generally helped me feel comfy and improve my posture. Also the husband is sweet and gives me a nice massage every few days when I beg. But yes, sometimes I waddle too+/- lose balance when my back is stiff and sore. Hubby thinks I should try more stretching (YouTube).. It probably will help. And my bump is still you know..
Well if I'm like this now I don't know what I'll be like at 8-9 months haha

JaneyJan that's what I'm panicking about!! I'm waddling now, don't even look like I have a bump just look fat and I am just going to get bigger and bigger!! nightmare lol.

Thanks malagueta will mention it at next midwife appointment, not seeing her until 22 weeks I don't think which is forever away. Might have to see GP in the meantime - or should I contact midwife about it? Not really sure how midwives work in between appointments tbh x

I'm not sure what the deal is with midwives between appointments either as I'm outside the UK but if you can't contact your midwife or don't have an appointment for ages I'd imagine a visit to the GP would suffice.

Jem, mine has given me her mobile number and told me to contact her anytime. You should be able to call your practice and ask for her phone number x

Mine did too. You can absolutely make a midwife appointment for anything you need to. The appointments given are standard but you can't certainly see them any time. Take it from someone who has a serious back problem that can't be fixed until after baby is born, definitely see about it now hun xx

Not sure if anyone else has heard of this, but I have just heard of it and it might help some of you out.

You can do this thing called marriage allowance and if you earn less than £11,500 a year then you can transfer your tax allowance over to your partner and give them a higher tax allowance - so they will get taxed less and you might get a backdated payment.

My sister has just done it, she got married in November and has just got £200 more on her husband's wages, this is the backdated tax pay and tax from this month so in 3 months they have saved £200.

Worth looking into if you're married and earn less than 11k. Most people might know of it, but first I've heard and I'm very impressed haha (just need to get myself married now ;) if OH will ever drop on that knee of his!!)

Were not doing a nursery were hoping to move to our own place not long after baby so no point.
Only just got back from shopping. Honestly some stuff is so expensive, they're only in them for a tint amount of time

On my way now omg!! This baby better have its legs open haha. Xx

Quick guess, girl! Aha.
Good luck :)
Oh boots have up to 70% off and I think everything is half price x
