Ugh dd came home from nursery with a temperature. Chirpy enough, if little subdued so I have no idea why. It never ends. I swear we can't go a month without something. My no touch temp thing is suddenly not working properly so I'm not even sure how high it is :/

PB & Jem best advice I've got is it's no use worrying about something you can't change. I hope both of your tests come back okay. But if they don't then like Jem says you'll cope. They'll have you and baby well looked after. My bmi was just under so I'm worried as it was mentioned to me. The best you can do is try to be active and eat as healthy as you can manage for now. I'm definitely not doing enough . But don't stress unnecessarily. I'm sure you'll be fine xx

Dd seems to be cooling a tiny bit. Brought toys down from her room and she's playing on the rug with them. Plus she ate all of her dinner and is drinking plenty, cheerful enough etc. She usually lies with me with a temp. No idea what the temp is from but I'm hoping it comes to nothing

I'm normally freezing and can never warm up. I don't think it's pregnancy now cos I've got a sore throat and headache and feel like shit, so must be getting a cold x

Awww no I really hope not, I've had two colds with this pregnancy already and it really really sucks cuz you can't even take anything for it and your body takes longer to fight it off than normal! Fingers crossed it blows over really fast for you!

I have been like a human ice box since becoming pregnant. I've always been a moderately temperatured person haha like not too warm all the time, not too cold. Seemed okay! hahaha But now I am freezing, bought gloves and I layer up all the time. End up in bed, fully dressed, socks, 3 layers and a dressing gown and gloves on haha! My husband must think I am mad but really it's impossible to warm up! xx

On a more positive note, I'm laying on the sofa and I felt baby kick 5 times. Unmistakable. I can't believe it there's really a baby growing inside there!

awww so cute I can't feel anything yet! My baby was super active and kicky on the scan so I know it's probably doing gymnastics in there but can't feel it really. Or maybe I dont recognise it yet...

They say with the 2nd you recognise it sooner and I'd never really though it was true until I got pregnant with this one. I think I was between 17-18 weeks before I felt anything at all with dd? Then I second guessed myself until about 19 weeks lol. I had an anterior placenta though. But not long for you hun at all. Hope you're feeling better Xx

Nice to hear about people's holiday plans, we are hoping to get away to the Lake District over the Easter weekend, will be our last holiday without the baby so we're looking forward to it.

DH just pointed out to me that we have tickets to see the Foo Fighter at the end of June... can't see that happening now!!

16 week appt with MW tomorrow! I've not felt baby at all, but I'm hoping that's because it's my first? My MW said not to worry and that I'll feel something in a couple of weeks probably..

Fela don't worry about that. Like I said before with dd was about 18 weeks ish before anything at all. Everyone's different

Good luck with midwife appointment tomorrow. Hopefully they'll let you hear the hb xx

definitely don't worry Fela, I didn't feel DD until 21 weeks.

lovely that you're getting proper kicks shanivy. I get a couple of rolls most days but it's mainly quickenings

I don't generally weigh myself but last night oh and I got the Wii out for the first time in ages, it happily told me I gained 6lbs I really feel like I'm going to be massive this time. oh has just booked his friends stag do to Malia when I'll be 36 weeks and while I'm not usually an insecure woman about that kind of thing last night I was a bit emotional that I was going to be the biggest I'd ever be and he'd be off to Malia for 5 days. he was lovely of course, bloody pregnancy hormones

Shan it is so lovely to feel baby kicks!! I could feel DD moving quite early and it seems to be the same this time around, not proper kicks but definitely movement. And again just like with DD it is most likely to happen straight after I had food. It feels lovely when they are little but I remember towards the end when DD started to really move it felt like an alien crawling under my skin lol not sure if I liked it so much, especially when you could actually see her butt poking through your belly. I remember it being a strange feeling/sight x

Shep I would not let OH go anywhere especially abroad that late in pregnancy, but that is me. I am sure he will be absolutely fine and actually missing you and DD while there x

I have so much to do and SO LITTLE motivation, it is killing me!!!

On the good news side - DD went and did her first pee pee on a potty last night!! I was so happy, hoping this is the start of successful training x

yeah I remember being a bit freaked out when DD was moving at the end when she was big

I don't mind husband going away as I just know baby isn't coming early and I want him to have the chance to get away with the boy's for a break before baby comes. must have just been my hormones last night. I'll miss him though

Depends how you feel at the time going to see them. I was heavily pregnant and went to a concert aha. You get in fast to if your pregnant you haven't gotta wait in the line aha was awesome. We left abit before it ended because didn't want to get pushed and shoved on the way out. If your standing find a place at the back. I had an amazing time even with a huge belly aha
