Sorry to change the subject, but I am petrified about my scan tomorrow. I keep getting horrible thoughts in my head where they tell me there is no heartbeat and the baby has passed away. I get all sweaty palms when I think about, overwhelmingly feel sick and just want to cry. I am so scared and hate having these thoughts.

Has anyone else felt like this? I think it's because I'm not really feeling any movements (only rarely a few weeks ago) and now I feel like I don't feel anything and is that because there is no heartbeat and no baby.

I don't know why I'm feeling like this

Oh Jem I have my scan tomorrow morning and I have had the same thoughts and it’s scared me a lot! But my mind loves to go into over drive I’ve always been very negative so I think I don’t deserve anything good to happen to me!

But I’m pretty sure we will both be fine our little gremlins will be fine and after tomorrow we will laugh and think why did we over think it all!!

Congratulations on the wedding news GG!
Jem - I’m having my scan tomorrow too so will be thinking of you and Amy both - am sure we will all be fine but I completely understand your worries!

Work is busy at the moment, I have flexi time so I can work shorter or longer days but recently I’ve been doing at least 90 extra minutes a day and sometimes two hours and it’s beginning to tire me out.. then I feel like such a wimp because, you know I only work in an office, I don’t have a very active job, but it’s still busy right now especially because DH is in a similar position so we both come home tired and then have stuff to do in the baby’s room... looking forward to my bed tonight!

Hope everyone is generally speaking feeling ok, I’m sorry to hear about he family nightmares - you just can’t choose em can you? ?

Morning Shan, how are you feeling today?

Well, last night is the first night I slept only on my sides, not half side, half belly. Seems my brain has caught up and stopped moving me to the almost belly position now which I'm pleased about.

Also have to move/turn very slowly in bed to stop the round ligament pain and stretching legs straight out with downwards facing feet is a big fat NO!
I have to either stretch legs with toes pointing to me or stretch body with bent legs. These are some of the little annoyances that nobody tells you about for sure, lol.

Morning everyone 21 weeks today. These weeks are flying! 3rd tri before we know it

GG not too bad today thanks. A bit of sciatica but I think its easing. Hope you're taking care of yourself too. Fx we both get through these pregnancies with as little pain as possible. Lol I came on to mention hospital too haha. Happy 21 weeks xx

re turning in bed I try to keep my pillow between my knees as I turn to avoid me spreading my legs too far apart and causing pain. I still sleep half on my belly but I'm sure it's just a matter of time before I can't. I really need another pillow tucked behind my back to stop me rolling onto my back but I feel so bad for oh, he's a cuddler and while he doesn't say I think he gets a bit put out when I ask him to move over

Khtw im with you on the epi!! I had it at 6 cm hoping for abit longer this time wbu?

I got mine straight after they told me I was 2cm dilated and could be moved to delivery room (it took me nearly 2 days to get to 2cm and it was rather unpleasant). Epi worked right away and it was heaven. I am a big wimp when it comes to pain down below and this is why I will be asking for it again x

Hey everyone hope you are all doing well! I have been absent as I have a huge uni assignment I have been working flat out on but just caught up a bit.

Shan- sorry to hear you're having such a time of it. I can understand as I am that person in my family too where everyone comes to me to fix things and be the level headed one who can come up with a solution and at the moment my hormones are making me melt haha

Its actually 4 scans today as I have my rescan to confirm the gender 100% fingers crossed she behaves.

On the topic of MILs- GG and PB- yours sound like a total nightmare. I married into a foreign family so I am lucky enough that firstly my MIL is a lovely, sweet, caring wee woman who also is kinda terrifying cuz shes strong and you wouldn't want to cross her but she loves me to bits, but also even if she was being mean- she actually doesn't speak english so who cares!!! haha xx

Hahaaa Shep, Dan gave up bothering. Just says I don't love him and tries to play the worlds smallest violin. I just laugh, as he does as when do cuddle, he knows damn well he falls asleep and turns into s ten tonne arm that I can't move, lol.

6 weeks away from Tri 3. That's just bloody scary, lol.
