I really really hope someone gets it! Im up for any date between now and dd the sooner being the better. I read yesterday that out of 10 pregnant women in weeks 38-42, 2/10 will go in week 38, 2/10 will go in week 39, 3/10 will go in week 40, 2/10 in week 41 and 1/10 in week 42. Not sure how accurate that's but we'll see.

Good planning having the curry the night before. Might have to be curry night every night ov the next two weeks! X

Contractions have started and ive lost a bit of mucus bloody string, only a fraction but defo blood on it xx

I've been taking the raspberry leaf tablets but I'm in 2 minds whether to get any more when I run out.

Sophs, I missed that you had a false start how are things now? X

Had awful period pains at 4 am, felt like my womb was being dragged out of me. I eventually got to sleep and now nothing xx

My bubs has quietened down today......he has just been moving feet today and the odd bum movement xx I've def dropped a bit more, my belly at the front looks like a slope if u no wat I mean lol and been having a few niggly pains and pressure in my fairy so hopefully he's getting ready to make an appearance xxxxx on the other hand I have just cooked the best Shepard's pie ever!!!! Made 4 mini bowels and was gonna freeze two( getting teas prepared for wen we come home from Hosp) but I don't think I can freeze them....I have to eat them....real warm cosy comfort food yum xx x factor final tonight.......James or jahmene to win xx

Exciting getting prams out. Mine is at my mums; she is superstitious too! I did go with the icandy but got it second hand from eBay as too expensive new!
Xmas tree is up and new decoration bought for tree! Will write baby's birth date on the back when it is born! So exciting! X

I can see a drop definitely newbie! Sophs and Sosie false starts suck!

Out of interest does anybody know how far babies drop? What/how do mw feel for when they check? Do you think we'd be able to tell too? X

You can normally tell a difference for your own bump. Mine is a high bump but he has dropped loads from where he was. people who haven't seen me all the way through keep telling he hasn;'t dropped enough, i hate to disagree but if he dropped any lower he'd be born already he's that low in my pelvis!!!

They feel the head, depending on how much they can feel above the pelvic Bone is how palable they are I think?

That's the thing Dysco I can feel her head really low down and I'm not sure how much more she could drop. I thought maybe I'd got it wrong but when she hiccups they are incredibly low too, way below my knicker line, I guess I'll see what mw says on Wednesday x

yep get her to feel for the head, like newbie said they can tell you how engaged/palpable the head is. When they do the first internal they can feel the head too. I had an attempted sweep at 38 weeks and actually babies head being is a problem for my sweeps, they can't get to the internal part of the cervix cos he's int he way!

Aimee lou I can highly recommend a birthing pool I"ve rented one for a home birth and its awesome! it feels amazing to get in and so much more comfortable than lumbering around. I already know how much its going to help in labour! We have a heated one and its not cheap to hire but sooooo worth it, just hope i get my home birth in the next 10 days!

Newbie I love ur bump pics!! Such a lovely neat bump and there's deffo been a drop! Ppl keep telling me mines still high but if it got any lower I'd be say on it haha it touches the sofa when my legs r open! Can't stand how everyone has an opinion on everything! It's always u won't push that out its deffo a section for u... Ur having an eight pounder... U won't cope with labour! FFs shut up will u haha! Last rant done now hopefull my next post will b my labour story!! Arrrrghhh excited and scared!! iPhone everyone gets the labours they want and everything runs smoothly! Bring on the babies

My best friend had birth pool with her little boy n she said the relief in the pool compared to being on a bed was amazing xx I really hope I get birth pool. There are 2 on the mat ward at my Hosp so fx I get to have one xxxxxx
