*****December Babies*****

Poor doob, I had those twinges earlier, just got acid reflux yet again now, :(

Sholou hope you can rest although I'm sure I won't be able to night before seeing as I can't even rest now!

Really? Everything you read and what the midwife tells you points to the same thing. So confusing :/ x

They sometimes call it the same thing but they're two different things - the bloody show is what comes right before labour or even during labour :) very confusing!x

Yes but a bloody show and mucous plug are different and in most people (always exceptions!) it means labour is imminent!

Yes im aware they are different things! I just don't want her to get her hopes up that she is about to go into labour like I thought I would as soon as I saw bloody mucus!

I found this whilst I've been unable to sleep if anybody is interested:

http://spacefem.com/pregnant/due.php?use=EDD&m=12&d=22&y=12

It apparently calculates how likely you are to go into labour on a certain day, you'll just have to change it to your date near the top x

I just did it and don't understand how it works it sad I'm 90% likely to go into labour at 43 weeks lol Thank god he's being lifted out the sunroof in 5 days ha ha

No she was talking about green mucous plug so I was just explaining the difference.

I had no signs of my bloody show til my waters had gone but had tons of green mucous from about 37 weeks twas all I meant :)

Morning ladies :)
Doob, I hope you managed to get some sleep.. If not I'd ring the MW.. Just to be on the safe side..
Wilson, eek to the labour thread.. So happy for you :)
I'm so uncomfortable.. I'd be very happy if bubs was born now.. I can't believe I may have to wait another 5 weeks :(

Morning lovelies, great to see some labour threads!
Sweep for me this morning, well attempt at one anyway, last weeks wasn't a success. Was in my birthing pool again yesterday, love it and would def recommend trying it in labour if you can! I could feel my aches and pains dissipating immediately!

No sleep I'm afraid and back pain getting worse. Going to take the dog a walk and see if it's just LO in another awkward position and if that doesn't help I'll ring the mw. Paracetamol doesn't help it at all.

Good luck with the sweep today Dysco xx

What a night ladies! Hope your all ok??? It was a full moon last night so maybe that explaines it all ;) xxx

Eek good luck with your sweep dysco :)
Doob, you sure your not contracting, this could be the start for you x
