Doob, my cat just sat by the health visitor the whole time she was there demanding food, she even tried jumping on her! Luckily the other 2 cats were hiding upstairs as she'd have probably thought I live in a zoo!

Spoke to mw and she said if pain returns call day unit as pains have returned I've called them, they think I'm in early labour!

I was right when I said I thought baby had dropped at the weekend. Had my 34w midwife app today (I'm 34+2) and all is well with my urine and blood pressure and baby's hb is all good but he's already 2/5th engaged and she seems to think he's going to come sooner rather than later! Ideally want up get to 37w but trying to make sure everything absolutely sorted in case it's before then (as she also implied that it would probably be quick and instructed me to ring straight away if I get any pains or if my waters go). Eeek!!

Evening ladies. Sholou hope you're ok and the pains are bareable. OH and I have just got back from hospital. Started with one of my stupid migranes but my right hand and arm kept going numb so was instructed to go get it checked out. Bp is fine thankfully but I wasn't overly taken with the gp who said to take neurofen which I thought was a big no no so going to see my own go tomorrow instead xx

Can't wait to see the mw tomorrow. My pelvis hurts like hell! I'm convinces she's engaged in the past couple of days. I ran up the stairs today and that wouldn't have happened a week ago. Keep getting period feeling still and my BH a really really powerful x

Update is that nothing much happened during day yesterday. Think I lost a tiny bit of plug. Pain commenced at 1030 then back at 1230 and still in a lot of pain at the minute

Jodied, hope KO stays put a bit longer for you but would love to be told LO was imminent!

Doob I'd be livid too if DH hadn't done his pat leave, he did push it til quite late despite me having a copy of my matb1 form ready for him!

Went to see rhod Gilbert in Bristol last night, was v funny and nice to get out with DH. Can't say I was particularly comfortable though!

Dysco - 38 weeks wow! time seems to be flying!!
Jodie - Again - wow - I know you want to get to 37 weeks - of course you do but with LO already engaging - its good they are keeping an eye on you.

Me - Help. I am so swollen my wedding rings will not even go on my little finger. Seriously I am not joking my fingers/hands are unbelievably swollen and they hurt. My face is swollen and my feet and ankles. Its insane. MW says and docs that its just excessive water build up. BUt what can i do to relieve it? xxxx

Wow I go to sleep for 1 night and all this happens!!!!

Think we may have a couple of early appearances in the next couple of weeks!!!

Dani, not sure about water retention and swelling other than try and rotate your fingers to improve circulation

Not much going on with me, got the midwife at half 9 this morning. LO has moved into the position he should be in now (left hand side as opposed to right) which means I no longer need to pee every 5 mins as my bladder is freeeeeeee of someone pushing down on it. The downside is I now can't breathe laying on my back and have a constant feeling of something in my ribs. Also feel like he is down in my pelvis although on sunday he wasn't engaged. Just feel soooooo uncomfortable all the time.

I have my last NCT session tomorrow for breast feeding. OH isn't coming to it though probably cos there are boobs involved haha

Best get up, have a cuppa and get ready for the midwife!

Ooooh posted my latest bumpy shot but here it is for comparison. I think I'm getting bigger!

Yes please! My mw is just like.... its water retention - nothing you can do! I also have CTS - tingling fingers!!!!!!!! its so sore x
