On another night where am unable to sleep, I've slept three lots of 45 minutes I think, have terrible heartburn And acid reflux making me feel so sick getting worse so think I could be awake a while this time

im awake too!!! Been having pains all day and now im bleeding!... going to give the labour ward a ring i think and just check to see what they say. pains all stopped now

I'm up with horrendous acid reflux too and just had a (tmi) clear out so now got another hot water bottle on my back. Oh and my bump is starting to itch like crazy again I hate it, think I need to go to the docs about it.

Sammie, had acid reflux a bit before but this just won't shift and is worse and I keep choking and can't breathe when it comes up! Not fun!

I've had it throughout this pregnancy but tri 3 is worst I've had, I was told in tri 1 I have a stomach infection but I can't get that treated until after pregnancy/breastfeeding as antibiotics are not safe for babies to injest so I get so much acid. I sometimes wake up with it coming up my throat and I choke, burns my throat. So i know what youre going through

Good thing about being in hospital is being given renitadine to get rid of the heartburn and boy does it work!!!!! if you call your GP apparently they should be more than happy to prescribe in tri 3 at doses up to 150, although I asked to try 75mg (which is the same as Zantac you can buy in any shop/supermarket) and its worked amazingly!!! I think some health care providers are reluctant to say its ok and obviously you MUST get it ok'd as we are all different with different needs and contraindications but it's always worth a try and to me is working like magic!!!
