On my way to the emergency vets my little boy kitty is having seizures.

Just on way back. Vet couldn't see any reason why it was happening and it didn't happen whilst we were there. Temps fine and he is alert and eating and drinking. If I didn't get it on video she wouldn't have known anything was wrong.

Given him an injection of anti biotics incase it's an infection. His hb was irregular but the options were take him home and monitor him or admit him to the vet hospital for tests. I took him home. He seems fine which is really annoying!

How annoying. Had something similar with our dog in the summer £150 later as it was a Saturday and she was fine. Better safe than sorry though. Hope he continues to stay better xx

As soon as I got him home he started again! He is sleeping now so going to keep an eye on him

Ohhhh its horrible when our pets are poorly!!!!! Not nice Newbie!
Dysco - sounds really promising - and don let plug stuff confuse you! I lost mine with Lily abut 8 hrs before going into labour - so it is sometimes just lost all in one go!!

I have just become a great aunt - OMG - I feel so old! xxxx

I'm in bed with a hot water bottle as been having bad cramps/back ache for hours now. Don't think it's the start of anything but its not nice

so we had out first NCT class today. Mixed thoughts to be honest! The group is nice apart from this one partner who is a complete knob.

We covered the 3 stages of labour, was interested learning about stage 3 which is the placenta as I had no idea how that came out. Went through all the different labour options and complications that may arise. Heard a lot of story's as our teacher is a doula. She's a bit annoying too. Went through available drugs and we did a very limited amount on birthing techniques, positions etc. OHs had a separate breakout group on what they can do and he came away with a list of stuff for his bag and stuff also focused on what his role is.

We ran out of time so the teacher is going to arrange an hour session on breathing and positions as we only had 20 mins on it.

Think tomorrow is more about post delivery. Different teacher. We will see!

I've had cramps all week but they started again this eve quite bad, eased off a bit but just been sick. Sigh. The delights of Tri 3!

My Friday night consisted of ironing and catching up with strictly! I did have a brainwave though and did the ironing sitting on my birthing ball - much easier on my back x

Hope your kitty is ok newbie, we had that with our dog, he seems to fit about once a year for no reason!

NCT teachers are supposed to be annoying, gives a focal point for everyone to bind over
Doulas as I understand it are like professional birth partners, but can be around after the birth too to help with settling bubs in, feeding etc.
I have the in laws here this weekend, sil just got engaged so all in good moods
