I hope he comes soon sosie!!!! Xx had an awful night last night. My legs keep buckling and its agony when it happens. Am staying in today cos am worried thy will do it wen am walking or driving xx he's dropped a lot more tho!! Fx for all the DEC mummies xxx

I'm not sleeping very well either..
My bumps so heavy.. i need a wee.. i have really bad period pains and if its none of the above im layed awake to excited to sleep..That sounds awful..Definitely have a day in- do online shopping and watch a film.

Yeah. He was already engaged but dropped more my boobs no longer touch my bump wen I'm stood up lol x Ixxxxx yeah I'm Xmas shopping today and just making a chilli for tea at the moment xx

Omg it's 10am and I just woke up!
I was talking to my midwife friend last night and I have decided it doesn't matter if I'm engaged or not. She said a lot of babies don't engage till you are actually in labour so I'm going to stop depressing myself that my LO doesn't like my pelvis and won't get down there! Worst case it's an extra 10 days, and I'm goin to enjoy the peace and quiet as life will never be the same again once he is here!
I have no plans today which is actually quite nice. Just housework. Think ill have a morning cuppa and brekkie and catch up on my crap tv

In floods of tears, oh dear. Just heard a piece on radio 4 about saying goodbye services for people who have miscarriages and it bought last years mmc all back to me. I need to have this little one in my arms soon.

Good idea newbie. Babies will come when they want and we should really make the most of the quiet time. I had my Bf class yesterday and it really put me off! I still intend on doing it but the new mums who spoke and the midwife were so negative about it x

Newbie sounds like a good approach
Soph don't let anything put you off, everyone has a different experience, I loved feeding Ella and with a few tiny hiccups it all came v naturally so there are definitely positive stories out there

Thanks hun, one lady was saying she had so much milk come through she spends all day expressing or feeding and it just won't stop! They were just so negative telling us we will want to give up because its so hard ect. A bit of PMA wouldn't have gone a miss x

I hate when people with bad experiences go to speak to mums to be! Why not get a positive example? When your milk first comes in (on about day 3) you might feel v full (boobs like boulders!) and I both fed and expressed but after a few days your supply evens out to what your baby is demanding and any extra you choose to express (I wanted a stock to do one expressed bottle per day and in case I wanted to pop out and leave her with DH or my mum after a few weeks) x
I've heard loads of horror stories about bf as well but I just don't listen I no it's going to be hard but we can do it it will get easier just take each day as it comes! I'm worried I'm not going to produce milk coz I've had nothing leak out yet! Not even that colostrum stuff :s is that normal? I even used my breast pump for a bit of nipple stimulation and none came out then either!

Sorry it was all negative sophs.. I'm just going to see how it goes regarding BF I'm going to try it but I'm not putting pressure on myself .. As I've got big boobs, I know it can be hard.

Newbie, that's a good way to think. I am fully cooked as from yesterday so was planning the evacuation but you are right. Baby will come out when good and ready!
Feeling bit disappointed now thou. Been on phone to mw this am and DAU as thought my waters broke last night but seems to have dried up now which apparently doesn't happen once they have broken. I was so excited that baby was coming but it seems it may have been a false alarm. Don't know what it was that happened during the night thou!
