*****December Babies*****

Well I Definetly approve.. Even if bubs doesn't.. I love love actually :) I made a balti last night.. Didn't seem to do much but FX for you :)
Been having really bad period like pains they seem to be lasting for about 2 mins and coming regularly every 10.. Don't think it's the start of anything.. The pains aren't agonising or anything but they just feel stronger then the period pains I've been having the last few weeks.. :/ think its all the walking I've done today.. Just had a lovely bath so should hopefully calm down abit x

Not very clear in the dark but here's ours x

Your tree looks lovely Doob . :) I love Christmas :) is it bad that I've got my FX it is the start.. Don't want to get my hopes up x

No not at all. As uncomfortable as I was yesterday I felt really calm and happy hoping it might be the start. Was gutted this morning when it died off. I know they'll come when they're ready but now they're fully cooked I'd like it to start, sick of being pregnant lol x

Loving the Crimbo decorations girls!! And Doob, I totally approve of your film choice, I love Love Actually!

Well, the afternoon tea was alright, not really worth the hour trip it took to get there. We devoured it all in 20 mins! Then came back to watch the abysmal Welsh rugby game.. :wall2:

Just came back from seeing a reflexologist this evening. She uses acupressure points to stimulate the uterus, so hopefully might get more BH this evening! She also gave me more advice for evacuation.. Obviously oxytocin is the important hormone to encourage the cervix to dilate, so lots of nipple and clitoral stimulation, looking at scan pics and smelling baby clothes, just being in the nursery can stimulate oxytocin release. She also recommended massaging jasmine and/or clary sage oil (diluted in a carrier oil) into the bump. castor oil should not be drunk but this can also be rubbed into bump...
Epsom salts (Magnesium sulphate) - about 500mg in a bath, but this should not be done till about 38-39 weeks and no more than 3 x per week...
I'm already using RLT and pineapple extract, bromelain, so that box is ticked...

Going to see her again next Thursday so hopefully will make a difference!

Interesting, is carrier oil the same as vegetable oil or something like that? Sorry the afternoon tea took ages to get to but at least you had cake :) xx

yeah she said I could use olive oil, or even my bio oil...
Cake was good, but cucumber sandwiches just looked pathetic..

fx Doob. I'm getting a hot curry next week :) tried to DTD today but it's too uncomfortable now, so I can kiss the baby evacuation method goodbye :( xx

You don't necessarily have to have sex Soph, just playing and kissing your OH can stimulate oxytocin release which can get things going xx

Evening all! Well oh and I didn't make it to the NCT lunch. We put the tree up too and some window lights, pics attached.

How much do you mix into the olive oil?

Sophs we found this last week, pretty awkward but funny. OH isn't so keen on Dtd now really, he keeps saying but there's a baby in there lol x

I'm glad other things might work too that'll cheer him up ;)

She said about 1 drop per table spoon of carrier oil is what she should recommend (but she used about 5 drops when she was pregnant!)

I'm going to put chilli in all my meals this week and then hopefully the other spices in the curry will help! do you think a supermarket curry will work as well?? I'm thinking M&S lol

*off to amazon to order some then* :)

Just googled the curry thing Sophs and found this:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2007/sep/21/healthandwellbeing.health

Apparently sex and curries don't work together it's one or the other?? Paragraph 7

More investigation needed I think x
