Hey Girls,

thanks for your concerns and sorry if l kept you all in suspense, l had a little boy on friday the 24th Feb,...only just got out of hospital today,.... had a bit of a rough labour. lts in the new arrivals section although quite a long winded one!!

Checking in despite very active cuddles (on my part (!) - God i won't be doing that in a hurry - the effort!)

Just eaten more pineapple and have actually started tidying in the last couple of days - a feat which is amazing hubby due to my immense abhorrence of such things pre-pregnancy!

Got an active birth workshop tonight and tour around the MLU - hoping it'll encourage LO out...

Hi all sorry its been a while, just to let you know I had my little boy on 26th Feb, ive posted pics on new mums but birth sttory will have to wait a bit longer as its a long one.........had a few complications!

I was so like you lot, hoping to wake up in pain, i had also read that you are more likely to go into labour while your asleep a your body is more relaxed and more hormone is released. BUT mine started at 10 in the morning with no warning or signs my waters just went, i didn't feel any different when i got up!!!

So don't expect anything in particular- just go with the flow.

I know how you feel, and i is very frustrating, but just keep your chin up and keep smiling

Mrs G - I remember being 1 day overdue, suddenly it felt strange saying to people I was due "yesterday" when asked how long I had to go, suddenly though I started to relax and think it could be another 2 wks off but then I went into labour when I was 3 days overdue and Olivia was born at 4 days past my due date.

Hey!

Still here...ho hum.

Actually looking forward to sweep tomorrow - how bizarre.

Under alot of pressure now - my bros girlf is off to Arizona with work for 3 months in a weeks time and sadly my uncle died on Friday and his funeral is next Wed. (either way its going to be dreadful - overdue or new mummy.)

Feeling very stressed now.

Hubby took me shopping on sat to look at eternity rings and he actually didn't bat an eyelid when i asked for quotes on a commission made aquamarine (March's birthstone) white gold band - bless him!

Im still here!

Lucy, yes it seems surreal being overdue and telling people I was due on saturday. Hopefully I will be lucky enough to go into labour naturally sometime this week.

Funnily enough Juzza, im not scared about the sweep anymore and am looking forward to going to the midwife on thursday now.

have we any news on anyone else? Adele was due yesterday wasnt she????

Hey guys,

Still here and out of all my friends I am the only one with their first born to get this close to their due date, typical! lol

Went to the Scottish baby show yesterday at the SECC, was hoping to have LO with me but instead ii got the pleasure of seeing so many other new babies.

Ach it wast all that bad, few relatives commented i look a lot lower. x
