well i have done a sneaky little post in 1st tri but not quite ready to go over fully yet

i know nothing about this woman at all she comes in mainly when we have special money off days so only see her now and again
whats puzzling me is whats "eat plenty of fish" all about??????? is it some sort of old wives tale to have a girl or something???? ive never heard that one

well you will be pleased to know i have put the thermometer away enough is enough plus o/h said my alarm (i set it for same time for temping) woke the baby this morning and he wasnt quite ready to get up which meant o/h had a grumpy baby to deal with was my turn for a lie in as i got 2 days off work

due back to work on friday and think i will have to tell them then that im pg as a big part of my job is up and down ladders in the warehouse and carrying heavy boxes up and down the stairs (which i obviously shouldnt be doing now) great thats me stuck on the till for the whole of my shift every shift till i go on maternity leave

babydust and chok i am coming over honestly just trying to do it quietly lol will be over by the weekend i expect but im hanging on for loola im shes coming with me

us chartstalkers will def have to start up a chatting thread in 1st tri

I don't have anything to report. Waiting to Ov is pretty boring. But since it is so quiet here I thought I should post.

I wouldn't worry about Kitty. She said she won't be around much as she can't try at the moment.

Awwww thanks Rach! You really dont have to wait for me though as I may not make it over this month

My brother has just text me, he has been signed off work with depression and been put on anti-depressants I guess he is struggling with the divorce more than he let on. I feel so sorry for him, Im going to see him tonight though. I wish he would come back to Swansea. He's still living in Bristol where he used to live with his wife and 2 children. He has a good job as a Social Worker in Bristol though. The marital home is up for sale and an offer has been accepted, so he is living in a room in a shared house with post graduates, he has to share kitchen and toilet facilities. It seems so sad that he has had to resort to that, because he has let his ex have all the money so that the kids have a nice home. He is alone up there, he has no real friends there, no family. No wonder he is depressed. He is 38 so its not like he's going out on the pull every night and getting leathered, he is stuck in a little room all by himself.
I know he brought this on himself as he left his wife because he didnt love her anymore, but you cant fake love can you! He has certainly paid the price for making such a big decision though. He has to drive here every weekend to see his kids which is costing him a fortune, I hope he tries to get a job here.

Soz to hear about your brother Loola, sounds like he is going through a tough time. Hopefully he can get a job/transfer to near you and get some support as well as less travelling.

Also tried herbal teas, but they are a bit sweet, really craving the bitter coffee taste, but I used to drink waaaay too much. Now when I drink the odd cup of coffee I go totally hyper!

Its funny you should say that - I almost started a thread in 1st tri for chartstalkers - soon as there seems to be so many of us in there now, but didnt know whether to or not so I chickened out!

Cheers Rach, Do you know I never even considered decaff, duh. I think poss because it still has some caffeine and I drink sooo much coffee. Will look into that though.

hey just done a due date calculator on line and its giving me 01/01/2009 new years day but ...... due to our history we have to have a planned section before 38 weeks (last time they did it at 37+2) so have worked out even if they do it at 38 weeks i will be home with a new baby for xmas xxxxxxxx

Well Ive bought 2 FRER's! They say they can detect pregnancy up to 6 days early now! How tempting! I know Im going to be disappointed though. I may do one in the morning. Im scared of the outcome though all my symptoms seem to be disappearing except for the odd twinge.

Tasha - Hope Oli gets better soon hun Great news that your OH will be there for OV!

Newly pregnant ladies: We can still join in the chat with you in 1st tri! Hopefully if we hang around 1st tri long enough the babydust will rub off on us!

What a lot to catch up on! Been to see my M & D today. It is so difficult not telling them!!

Loola - Really sorry to hear about your brother. My DH suffered from depression quite a few years ago. It is a v hard thing to understand but I found quite a few books on the subject which were really useful. It is easy to feel useless when someone close to you is suffering from depression so reading about the illness can make you feel like you are doing something positive and it definately taught me a lot x x

A chat-thread in the 1st tri is a great idea! At the moment all you can post is about sensible stuff not waffle!

Going back to the whole twin thing...my grandpa was a triplet!!!

Tasha - sorry that oli is ill - what is wrong? Hope you get some good sleep soon (but not too much around ov time )

Rach - Im still temping too ...cant resist because i love seeing that high temp each morning! Im feeling fine..few tummy twinges but nothing else to report. I have my first MW appointment tomorrow - still cant believe it!

chill last time i was pg i switched to decaf nescafe as i was drinking so much coffee and found i was only drinking 1 or 2 a day once my brain realised it wasnt getting any caffeine it stopped looking for coffee xxx

Well I tested this morning, and no surprises really BIG FAT NEGATIVE
I know it could be too early still, but I did a FRER which says you can test up to 6 days early. My boobs do still hurt but thats about it really. I will test again on Saturday just incase, but Im not feeling too hopeful really. In all honesty though what was the likelihood of this being my month? I ovulated early so didnt get any BDing done in the few days leading up to ovulation, only once on ovulation day and the day after so it was less likely to happen then all my previous months when we did loads of BDing. Im disappointed but there is always next month! Cheri predicted Feb around the 16th for me, though she did only say for ovulation or testing, which obviously didnt happen. Perhaps she got it wrong and she meant give birth? Hahaha, I may be clutching at straws a little!
