Mummy_midwife- its all starting to happen for August mummies isn't it?! Eeek! Before we know it we will b in the baby and toddler section of the forum!!..... Crawling around- u r in desperate need of help!! Would crutches help if chiro can't get things better tomorrow?? U need to be able to walk hun!!

kaffee no im staying put. the contractions have been quite strong and more unbearable than usual but went from 3 mins to 7 mins so off for a nice bath soon.

Lanny wow glad they caught it early and double wow your LO will be here soon!!

I'm now starting to hurry preparation along, I just keep assuming it will be here when its due even though me and wife were both early. Packed most of the hospital bag tonight, just need to take it all out and wash it now and pick up a couple of things I'm missing.

She is doing well thanks but like all you ladies it's getting harder every day. Nothing specific though. She is planning to work up to nearly 39 weeks.

I think I've got everything I can packed for now. I keep thinking of more things I need to buy for baby, I don't know if it's boredom, shopaholic crazy me or if I actually need the stuff haha.

I think my bump is shrinking?! I started following slimming world few weeks ago... eating healthily, with the extra calcium & fibre I need for baby, MW said it's fine but I have lost about 10lbs! Will see what MW says when I see her on Monday. I was measuring 36cm at 34 weeks so we shall see....

Are anyone's boobs tingling...almost like the let down feeling? I'm sure this happened closer to labour last time. I reeeeally don't want to go into labour before my elective section!!! xx

Wow a lots going on in august mummies!! Exciting times!! I'm so ready for baby to be out now heartburn and nausea are well and truly set in on plus side started maternity now so not so much pressure. Alan ur wife is amazing working to 39 weeks! I could not do that. Mummy midwife sorry ur struggling not long for you now tho mum2b how r u doing? Officially mrsm must be nice seeing the house come together hope all the rest of u girls are good? Just done my 34 week bump photo can't believe how big I am now!! Xxx

4th August so only 2 days before due date...I went into labour 3 days before with 1st pregnancy eek xx

It is...3 weeks, 6, nearly 5 days & counting!! Yep, I have to go in straight away & wait to go into theatre. I'm just so worried I won't catch it in time & will have to end up pushing or something! I'm sure it won't happen as previous labour was 20hrs but you never know �� xx

Ul be fine Hun atleast there geared up for it. Even if it was quick it's got to be atleast 5 hours notice hasn't it?! Well I'd say that was quick anyway. Must be nice to know exactly when she is going to arrive so u can get prepared xx

Morning ladies, hows everyone today?

This is now 25 hours with no sleep!

Contractions last night were between 7 to 4 mins and and so painful I was rocking about moaning and crying. Decided to try wait to 6am to go to hospital and it stopped at 5:18am.

I should just went in earlier and begged them to try keep it going. Doubt they would though. So exhausted and frustrated. Im gonna have a nervous breakdown when the kids get up.

Sorry, needed a moan.

Hello everyone,

I hope you're all having a good Wednesday? It's lovely and sunny here today, the dog is begging for a walk but he'll have to wait until after my midwife checkup this afternoon, I can only muster the energy for one walk a day these days.

I finished work last week and am so relieved, met a friend yesterday for lunch and she'd bought me one of the yummy mummy pink lining changing bags full of nappy changing stuff. I nearly cried it's so lovely!

Sorry to hear about people struggling, I'm not too bad really, struggling with being so big, sore hips and feet but manageable.

Now I'm off work I'm addicted to reading everyone's posts and by the looks of things I better think about packing a hospital bag!

Morning everyone,
Lovely day again today, hope it doesn't get TOO hot tho! Bradley has gone for his school trip today, he was so excited!
So I was meant to go to my friends for dinner last night - they'd actually thrown me a surprise baby shower!!! Was so lovely!! Will have to share some pictures later.
Having a bit of a lazy day today, bit of housework, bit of blog networking, lots of catch up telly!
Those of you taking formula in hospital bag (plan on taking some incase I can't BF) in what form are you taking it? I was planning on taking cartons but Ive heard you can only take in those glass disposable ones now?! Which I don't kno where to get from?! I have a feeling Ive asked this question before, if so I apologise but can't remember the answer lol.


mum2b - He was head down at my last appt, 2 weeks ago, but I wouldn't be surprised if he'd moved again, I often wonder if he's transverse. MW tomoro tho so we shall see

Mummymidwife - You take your time with all that bedroom sorting!! Great you had the kids to help tho. I did Bradleys with him the other week, I def needed a nap afterwards lol.

wenchy - Good news about babys measurements!! How are you feeling today??

Hi all!

Been out at CBT this morning- just back and thought I'd catch up!

Lianne- sorry I'm sure u had said he'd gone head down and I forgot!! Baby brain is awful right now! Really hope he hasn't turned! .....I would call the hospital to ask what their procedure is re formula bottles......I think u can get the ones you're after in Boots if that's what u need but not 100% sure!.... I've got a couple of ready made cartons of Sma but I'm not taking them. I'm sure our hospital will give something if I really can't breastfeed! Obviously hoping it won't b an issue!

Keep trying- I'm doing ok thanks hun! Felt quite good yesterday and think bubs has now gone to being the right way round again (spine out to the front of my tummy!) So hoping he will stay there and start to try and engage soon! Today I feel full of snot- reckon the pollen count is higher! Not nice! Saw your bump pic hun- u have def grown in the last couple of weeks! I think u look great

Coco- 4th of August is my original due date! I'd love my baby to come by then- we could have them on the same day!! But as u know I'm sure he will be too comfy to shift by then!! Really not long though now hun Great bump pic too hun- lovely shape

Alan- great that the Mrs is doing well! Working up to 39 weeks! Wow! U make sure she gets some rest before labour!!

Hey everyone, just read all posts but battery on my phone is going and can't charge it for a while, so just wanted to quickly say that I really thought I was having bubs last night, contractions were coming about 2 minutes apart, really painful , and the tell take sign for me is emptying my bowels (sorry tmi) but it always happens when I am in labour... Hubby wanted to go to hospital but been there before so decided to wait and it all settled after 3-4 hrs phew I am a zbie today though with no sleep .
Thanks happy I am def taking it easy after last night, it was horrible. And mum2b, the score was embarrassing but heyho is just a game after all (*hides in a corner).

Will come on again later on to catch up properly xxx

So interesting morning girls. Hadn't felt movement so went to triage put on a trace baby hb was a bit quick so got sent for a scan. Baby is fine measuring a week ahead and 5lb 7 already all is good so relieved! X
