Mum2b I certainly feel different this time not that big as last time and didn't put much weight so I can't come to terms that it is only 6 days till I am due. I was late 9 days last time so certainly don't think this one will come any earlier I think around 14th will be my time.

Well will def keep my fingers crossed u aren't waiting as long as last time hun! These boys do tend to take their time it seems! Xx

Back from the consultant. She was very nice, she measured me and did babies heart beat. All was OK.
I have been booked in for a stretch and sweep as they said because of previous big babies so the worrying was for nothing and i guess the practises are just different accross the country.
Hoping the stretch and sweep works I'll be 38+2 on the day Friday 15th August.

Made me feel better even if it doesn't work at least it seems mentally like less timeto wait.

Glad it went well hun! At least u won't b waiting til 40 weeks for something if he does decide to take his time! Xx

We are on our way back up to triage this afternoon. Babies heartbeat was fast at midwife appointment again. Totally fine the last time so we are not worried. 36 weeks today so he is nearly fully cooked.

Cleaning!! You lot are crazy, far too hot and tired with that haha. Managed to put some washing on as needed to do few bits for hospital bags. No signs yet for me but still a couple of weeks of my d day yet. x

Hi ladies!

Kaffee -congratulations!!

Been a busy morning for me, I had my growth scan and consultant this morning which as they were short staffed stretched into this afternoon. Baby is measuring bang on for femur length but HC and AC were on the 95th centile, in line with a 40 week gestation. Estimated weight is 7lb 2oz with four weeks to go so they've booked me in for a csection. Was so weird because my last one was decided four days before so it was strange to be booking it for in a couple of weeks, they let me choose my day according to when OH *should* be home...

So it's official, my LO will be born on the 22nd of August. They said if I go into labour they'll take me in for an emergency one, but I really can't see myself going into labour early! So this time in three weeks I'll be freaking out at the thought of having my baby the next day! Exciting

Ft90 must be nice to know in advance when baby will be here, I am such a control freak, the not knowing when it'll happen is the hardest bit for me!!

Lil question for you ladies... I think I have been/still am losing my mucus plug?! Never happened with my first but yesterday and today (every time I've been to the loo) I have been wiping snotty blood tinged nastiness (sorry tmi!) is this my plug? I always thought it would be one 'loss' if you know what I mean, not continually over 24 hours (and still going?!)

Hey mikid I've been going through the same since Tuesday morning had massive clumps coming away especially in the morning today was the most but it's been noticeable the last couple of days. Had some cramps with it this morning but nothing since be interesting to see if anything happens over the next couple of days. Good luck! xx

Congrats Kaffee 9lb wow.

Success!!! Cai had his bedtime bottle a little later than normal and guzzled 110ml. He emptied the bottle and was looking for more so tried again on boob and he def def def latched on after a few tries. Could see his little cheeks sucking rather that his jaw moving and could hear swallowing. Was only a few mins but very happy Mummy here
