Interesting comments about finding out the sex. The company who did the Nifty test for us know the sex and we can contact them at any time to find out. Not sure if we will be able to hold out.

Hi all sorry I've been awol for so long! Hope everyone is ok. Had my 20 week scan today and its a girl! Was convinced I was having another boy. So so happy. Little girl was moving about loads which gave the scan person a hard job but she's all healthy, so happy!

Hi everyone congratulations on the scans mine went well and baby is all
Healthy. Definitely a little girl... I have been contracting and cramping on and off , just terrified I am going to deliver any minute, feeling very nervous and upset all the time but they checked my cervix today and is long and closed so fx all will stay this way.

Mummy_midwife- glad scan all went well!...... I'm guessing there is nothing they can give u for the contractions if they aren't making u dilate? Do u think its related yo stress or anything? Really feel for u hunny, must b v distressing xx

120/80 go me best it's ever been lol and that was with the same cuff and machine as last time. Thy are saying now by blood pressure is having random spikes and I have to relax. Hard to do when your a worrier over being pregnant and making it to the end. I have to be seen every 2-3 weeks for a check up. Had more bloods done too. I'm glad I'm being well monitored makes me more at ease.

Congrats on all the good scan news ladies . Hope the contractions stop soon and baby stays put mummy midwife.

Unfortunately they won't give me anything until I am 23 + to quieten the uterus down I don't think stress has much to do with it as my mum had the same and delivered a boy at 18 weeks and a girl 23 weeks that were completely healthy.
I am sure stress won't help but I can't help but worry now, it's going to a very long pregnancy from now on and I am praying so hard that baby girl stays inside me, I can't bear the thought of loosing her.

Sorry this is a downer post, hence why I have stayed off PF for the last few days.

but im glad all is healthy! And i think everyone can understand how you feel as im sure i would feel exactly the same!!
Are you still working hard!? And if so can you have some time up to get through the next few weeks a bit easier!?.

Happy for everyone else with a healthy scan.!! And team pink is also getting a bit bigger haa!

ours went fine. Were having another very active beautiful girl!!!. Eeeek i started blubbing my eyes out!. Hubby didnt say much but now hes hapily planning what he would like me to order for the girls to wear of tinternet!!. Silly soft man!! Lol

slightly negative note is im having funny cramps now. Lol sods law!

Mummy_midwife- u know yourself best but letting out your anxieties on here might help u get through it rather than pushing on alone :-/ I am sure it I'd terrifying given what happened to your mum but u know that prem care is amazing nowadays! I know a friend who met someone who's baby survived at 23 weeks!! It seems like forever but each day is another day closer to viability day and although there r no guarantees remember u made it to 36 weeks with Emily with the same thing happening! There is a great chance u can do it again hun! Stay strong, be kind yo to yourself and rest when u can! Sending loads of positive vibes xxxx

Hey ladies, barely been on for ages but wanted to update on my 20 week scan from this morning. Everything was perfect, growing just as they should and baby was incredibly active, saw them rubbing their eyes and their beautiful rosebud lips but despite being DESPERATE to know the sex, the little monkey had its legs crossed with the cord between them so the sonographer couldn't tell us

Hubby is equally as keen to know (we're such control freaks!) so we've booked a private sexing scan for Thursday, fingers crossed baby plays along this time!

Sorry I've missed so much from you ladies, I hope those of you going through some rough stuff with contractions and blood pressure are ok and 2nd anomaly scans come back all clear xx

Congrats to all that have had scans! I can't wait for mine next Tuesday but also a bit nervous...just hoping bubs is healthy in there. Def staying team yellow.

Mummy midwife sorry to hear you are having contractions, I can understand why you are so worried hon. Fingers crossed they don't mean anything and you carry your little girl to full term.

Haven't bought anything yet. Don't need much anyway as have most of what we need from my son, just a few bits and pieces really which we'll probably get at the last minute knowing us!
