U don't sound patronising hun, its fine. It all tailed off yesterday and so far nothing more! I've had 3 lots in total each time stopping completely and the longest in between has been a week...... Hoping I can get further than a week without anymore! It is v alarming but at least I know the likely cause. Just have to monitor it each time and pray it doesn't get heavy or really painful! Xx

Aw weezy, that's lovely I hope you like them as much as I do, they still have Emily's photo on their mural from 5 years ago and they asked for another one of this baby wen born so they can put beside it and you get to find out what you are having yay, very exciting!

I know, here I am poorly again and feeling sick to top it all up ! Grrrr I can't win.

Oh god let's not talk about weight gain.. I'v put on 1st10
Going to start some low intensity pregnancy gym classes soon.. Was told to hold off till 15wks so that's this weekend. Saw some girls had been talking about yoga etc, but think I'd prefer something different. My bump has sprouted in the last 2weeks !! Xx

That's so lovely they've still got her picture up we're going to Stirling and some family travelling down from Aberdeen to be there.. Can't wait ! Just surprised OH he was over the moon

So our 3rd scan didn't work either. We have booked into Leeds for a Nifty scan on Sunday. A lot of money but we had a chat and we feel it's worth it so we know with some certainty what the situation is.

Wriggly and usually in the wrong position The test in Leeds is a blood test like Harmony(only 1/2 price), so that will tell us just about for sure, they can also confirm the sex, not sure about that yet.

And here I go again.....just been to the loo and started spotting I can't seem to get more than a day right now!! Have got the Doppler out and heard hb so that's something! Please, please don't turn into anything more than spotting!! :-/

Booked our private scan today for 13th march to find out what we're having, will be 16+6 then. NHS one is 15th April

Thanks hun! I swear its related to me coughing! Been hacking away all day!..... Think I might see if there is anything I can take for it to c if it helps stop the spotting coz less pressure on my cervix! Guess its another trip to the Dr for me!

If in doubt call maternity assessment they will get u in, they did with me and put it down to a burst blood vessel maybe it's that?? U can burst them by sneezing

It prob is related to your coughing if your cough is anything like mine. I'm sure I've pulled a muscle with mine. Once many years ago I even ended up in a&e after a coughing fit (and maybe a bit of hanky panky too) but i pulled a muscle in-between my ribs that meant my ribcage couldn't expand which resulted in a fluid build up in my lungs! Basically I nearly drowned because I had a cough! Nasty things they are So yes I think you are probably right.. I hope that you can take something for it other than honey and lemon in hot water I can't think of anything :S

I hope it stops soon though hun so you can relax and enjoy this special time!

Mum2b - sorry to gear it's starred again :-/, hope it all settles down soon.

I've had a fab birthday today, . I got coffee & flowers in bed this morning, then he offered do he some toast & returned with bacon, egg & mushrooms ( in bed still). I had a gorgeous necklace with my birthstone as the pendant. He then took me out for lunch, & tonite I got a cake . I haven't lifted a finger all day, he's hoovered, washed up, sorted the washing etc just so I wasn't doing any on my birthday.
My mum txt me after she went home and says it's great to see me so happy. I didn't realise how unhappy I was when I was married, and can honestly say I've felt so spoilt today I know my OH is for keeps .

Just wanted share, sorry .


( p.s it's 11:38 pm & I've only just remembered today would of been my 8th wedding anniversary. So glad divorce was finalised last month lmao)

Here I am at 5 am, feeling really sick and can't stop coughing. Went to sleep at 8pm and been up since 2:30 coughing non stop grrrr

Oh no, not again that's just unfair for it to come back so often, I am so glad you got the doppler though and can get the reassurance that baby is ok even though you Know the spotting is unrelated to baby. I am praying that it doesn't turn into anything more than spotting and it all settles down once and for all.

Do try getting something for the cough though, I have been coughing like mad and surprised I am not spotting myself with all this straining; so it is probably not helping you. Hope you can see the docs this morning hun.

Mum2be, sorry to hear your bleeding keeps continuing, bet it's reassuring to have a Doppler though, deffo get it checked out.

Happy birthday for yesterday Lanny x. Mummymidwife hope you get better soon, hated normal cough in pg as you can't take anything for it!

My quad blood results haven't come through yet, which is kind of good in a way, but I'm worrying they've lost my bloods and when we get to 20wk scan well find all sorts of things wrong. Must ring mw today to see if she can chase, as had bloods done 3 weeks ago. Should have have had nifty test done when we had private scan at place Alan is off to on Sunday!!

Mrsm- they have already diagnosed me with cervical erosion. I don't have to be seen unless its heavier than spotting or really painful.....none the less its still worrying!

I've hardly had a thing since last night so am hoping that's it again! They told me it could keep going like this- was just hoping it wouldn't b every other day!!

Mummy_midwife- sounds like u r really suffering hun, sorry Do u think its worth speaking to Dr again?

I have to ring at 8 to get an appt- will c if my swab results r in too whilst I'm there!
