April Due Dates

I'm impatient too Lou! I've nested, scrubbed the bath, tidied the house to the point where it could not get any tidier, finished my uni work and that's it now...just waiting.

Just called my midwife as the hospital recommended a 2nd sweep this week to try and kick things off before my induction on Sunday and she was reluctant to do it as I'm not term so she's going to call the hospital and see if they will, it was my last hope of going naturally

I'm cooking a gammon joint for hubby tonight and I've made him a cheesecake for pudding (his fave) as he's just been sooo good recently!

Hi I think I was the first April mummy! Sorry for queue jumping but Ella decided she couldn't wait! So after an official due date of 2nd may and an earlier due date of 29th April she actually arrived on 2nd April!!!!

Wishing all other April mums to be an easy labour and hope you mummies due in early April get to meet your babies very soon xxx

lol don't you just hate queue jumpers?! Seriously though I'm glad she's arrived safely, I can't believe that I'll have my baby this time next week, I still can't get my head round it!

My midwife called back this morning and has booked me in for another sweep tomorrow so I'm really hoping that will kick start it

I'm getting them because of the gestational diabetes. I'm being induced Sunday night so they wanted to try and kick start it before then. My midwife won't do them so I have to go to the consultant at the hospital each time. I had twinges yesterday thought I'd wake up in labour this morning but nothing so I'm hoping the sweep will kick start it and I can have my baby for the weekend!

Ah right I see! I think I already knew this now you've said it and I'd just forgotten the way us pregnant women do! Ooh I do hope she's here for the weekend! Imagine if we both end up in labour at the same time - we will be useless as text buddies haha!! xx

I got told 5/4 engaged, getting somewhere!

I was apparently 2/5 engaged last week and was told she wouldn't be able to come back out now, got an appointment today.

She feels stupidly low sometimes though, literally like she's about to pop out!

Yep I'm just double checking I've got everything, looks like we're going on holiday lol! Hoping to get some tonight in hospital and fingers crossed things will happen in the morning so I can get home with my baby.
