I would love to have my baby tomorrow...it's exactly 38 weeks today since baby was conceived (I won against batman on the Xbox) and 36 weeks since I got my digi bfp!
The only thing I've got is niggle period pains but seem to get them most days at the moment....maximum 11 days left x

I didn't know you could get by winning games on the Xbox lol

He was playing batman....I came down dressed to impress and he had to decide between us lol....he actually sat there looking at me, then the tv then me before deciding that I was the better option lol x

Emmam this sounds like you have one of the good typesnof gamers. My OH has been away all weekend with his mates at some geeky gaming LAN thing. Told menif baby decided this weekend was the one,bid just have to cross my legs and wait it out!!

Has he ever made u take him to a midnight launch? Omg sooo boring!

No. Luckily he has geeky friends nearby to go to these things with. I just wave him off then laugh with the other wives and girlfriends about how sad it is!

I'm sterilising my steriliser lol my life is exciting

How exciting jojo lol I've rearranged a few things upstairs and thrown some bits out, repacked my hospital bag into different bags and then rearranged the kettle, toaster etc in my kitchen whilst having a good clean lol xx

I've moved he kettle too actually, to fit my prep machine in. I've organised my nappy box, organised lukes toys upstairs and about to crack on with downstairs toy box

We may have a bit of a problem with baby's wardrobe (bye 15hea from now I'll be in the car!).

Excited for baby news tomorrow Jojo.

Apart from still drinking loads and still having a dry mouth there's not much going on with me...mw in the morning x

Joho im so excited for u tomorrow!
I hope u have a morning slot and ur not having to wait around all day! Cant wait for ur update :)

I called the hosp cos my pains hurt ao much im so worried its due to him turning back breech. I know its probs just be being paranoid.
But anyway the ME has left my number with the antenatal clinic where they do the scans and should have a phonecall tomorrow to arrange scan for either 2mz or wed. Just to be sure.
They would also rather know 100% with me being due Fri then risk a possible emergeny c sec with it not being picked up from now till im in labour.

I do have mw on thurs but with the fact she missed it the 1st time i wouldnt feel comfortable with her guessing what way he was haha!
Im sure its all in my head anyway! Will let u know when scan is xx

Ladies, do any of you know anything about the group b strep test? I thought it was routinely done but I'm 39 weeks and going to try for vbac and no one has said anything. Is it an oversight? Xxx

GBS isn't routinely tested for in pregnancy unless you've had a baby with GBS previously. I was GBS positive with Harry and needed antibiotics in labour. With James they still considered be GBS positive but didn't need antibiotics as Harry never got GBS he was just monitored after the birth and the same will apply this time. Harry was an emcs and James a vbac with no issues.

Babyslog I hope baby hasn't turned breech again and you get a scan quickly to find out xx

No its not offered unless it was picked up in a previous pregnancy.
NHS wont do it routinely.

U can do it private yourself for £30 but normally spose to be done 37/38wks ao u get results in time to tell ur mw.

If u r experiencing discharge u could tell me and they would sometimes then test for it.
But because t comes and goes in your body so quickly they think it to much to fund for when u could be positibe one week but fine again the next.

Personally think it should be routine! I had it picked up at my 6wks PP chexked after Noah was born. No idea if i ever did have it while in lBour but noah didnt suffer with any obvious signs..
Ive not been asked to be tested this time tho even tho it eas positive! X

The strep b isn't routine unless you had it before I believe.

I just had time hospital on the phone to say 07:30 admission but section could be anything up to lunchtime. 13 hours and I'll be on my way... Yikes

Thanks ladies. It's something I hadn't really thought much about because assumed I'd end up with a section. I had it in my head that it was a routine test for some reason. I really shouldn't read all the crap I read!

Jojo, I literally can't believe that you're having your baby tomorrow. It's so bloody exciting!!!!! Xxx

Yeah.
It's weird because when I was having Luke I was terrified something would go wrong with him and I wouldn't get to ring him home and I feel just as anxious this time. I can't imagine bringing her here and it's weird... It's like I have "if" in tmt head instead of when when I think about her. It's crazy and irrational I know but I'm so anxious about it
