I've managed a full meal tonight as well. Felt good to eat decent and not a sandwich.

I had a decent sized lunch but just graze at teatime other wise I get heartburn x

How is everyone? Haven't been on much lately but have had a quick catch up.
I'm struggling with eating too...I keep feeling like I really need to eat, but when it comes to it I can only manage tiny portions. I'm really missing my puddings haha.
Only 3 days left at work!!!! I can't bloomin wait!!! Not sure what I'll do with all my spare time lol but looking forward to spending lots of time with Oscar and trying to get him back into some sort of routine.
We've got OH's Nan's funeral today :-( Thankfully the sun seems to be out, so I've got my sunglasses at the ready to hide behind. Funerals are horrible at the best of times, but with all these damn hormones I just know in going to end up a blubbering wreck, especially seeing OH carrying the coffin ;-(

Had a really busy few days. Pram shopping on Saturday was a total washout! Why is finding a double pram so hard?! The sides by side are bloody massive and the tandems are stupid! Most of them
Allows oldest he kick newborn on the head from behind! One was great but like would've been out the harness in seconds (far too easy) and when he was facing outward I couldn't but the baby flat and when he was facing me he just kicked the seat where babies head would be so ended up win he Hauck freerider shop n drive buying blind as we aw nothing that would've worked.

My back has been aching so much - to the point I almost ended back up on maternity unit again combined with my BH... settled down but so undodortnale between my hips and my pelvic bone and back. I think baby has dropped down.

Exciting times that we are all starting Mat leave soon or already have eek!

Hope she has a lovely send off today Jen! Xxx

Jojo i love the look of tandems for space but all the bits n bobs u have to buy and like u said some just seem wrong with have close they r positioned! Noahs long as hell and i cant sre him even lovin like ina tandem! Luckly hell be almost 3 so we are hoping to get away with him either walking next to me or using his stroller and having Charlie in sling.
I have his silvercross surf travel system still and if needs be ill get Noah a buggy board, but we shall see!

Its 9am and im eating a sodding easter egg! Ive JUST had a sodding maccy ds brekki too! God haha!

Mw app on Thurs to discuss my homebirth, im excited and pray she still thinks its a good idea lol!

Anyone else started or will be starting RLT caps/tea and EPO caps??
Ive been taking both for a week now and will slowly up the dose each week.
Im not doing or trying anything else this time.

I like to believe both helped me labour nice and quick aswell as contract back afterwards! So fx thats the same this time lol (i doesnt help induce labour - which i dnt want anyway! My mums away when im 38wks and shes my birthing partner! Lol)

Thanks Dani :-)

We've got the iCandy Peach 3 so will carry on using that. We've spent another fortune on buying the extra seats and adapters to make it into a double, but got most of it second hand so should be able to get most of our money back when we're eventually finished with it and sell it on. I like that it's not a full-time double, I can add or change bits depending on what I need each day. Fingers crossed it works for us :-)

I've been thinking about taking the RLT again. I can't remember when I started last time? I think I might have some left in the cupboard so will have to check.

Enlighten me babyslog on the tea and oil. I've heard about it but not taken much notice

The raspberry leaf tea is spose to help your uterus prepare for labour.. You can take it from 32-34 weeks as a cup a day or a few capsules and then increase. Im not a fan of fruit teas so only drink them closer to my due daye and force myself lol! Its spose to help speed up thr second stage of labour between being dilated and pushing.

With evening primrose oil its spose tk help soften your cervix. U take it orally but around 37+ u can also insert a capsule lol and it dissolves (they say to do it st nice and put some tissue or a pad on as itll leak bk out lol)

I have NO idea if they really help and its only really another myth with some small studies taking place. Some mws are against it, some love the idea and believe it helps! Alot of forums on google r jjst from womens experiences!

As both are herbal there no harm! But there is a list of reason NOT to take it which are:

Raspberry leaf tea is not right for everyone. Don't take it if:
A previous labour lasted only three hours or less, from start to finish.
You're scheduled to have a planned caesarean for a medical reason.
You've had a caesarean before.
You've had a premature labour before.
You've had vaginal bleeding in the second half of pregnancy.

It would also be wise not to drink raspberry leaf if you:
Have a family or personal history of breast or ovarian cancer, endometriosis or fibroids.
Are expecting a baby who is breech.
Have any complications or health problems in your pregnancy, including high blood pressure.
Are expecting twins.

But mine and Charlies hosp bags are now packed yay!
Most will be coming back out if I do have a successful homebirth. So excited now :) his teeny lil sleepsuits look so adorable! Cant wait to see him in them xx

My maternity leave officially started yesterday.
My 5 year old has me in training for Logan's arrival and the sleepless nights-poor little man has a double ear infection and screamed all night last night.

I feel huge...I've got to the stage where everyone I come into contact with ask when I'm due followed by 'ooooh didn't think u had long' I don't think I've fully adjusted to the fact that I'm going to have a baby very soon x

Mine starts offically 11th April. But im already forgettig what day of tr bloody week it is eoth being off work so long already lol!

Ah i feel big too! Yet one day i get told i look smaller than i did on Noah and some like im read to burst! By the same sodding ppl lol!
Although i no ill miss my bump, im ready to be able to bend and clean without hurting!

Not long now girls!!
Think... Some of us may go early and we COULD potentically have some babies born end of April!!! Mentallllll xx

Well finally a weight has been lifted-I put my claim in for housing benefit on 7th Jan when I split with other half and it was obv based on my full time income and not my sick pay...today I have confirmation that the owed money will be paid to me next week so 800+ will be hitting my account-I can finally finish paying for the pram and all the little bits ready for me becoming 37 weeks pregnant and technically full term.
I might be able to sleep at night now lol x

Great news Em, what a relief. I've started the rlt cup a day, going to nip into town in next couple of weeks and get some caps as well, plus evening primrose oil. Also going to get some arnica and witch hazel to help with afterwards.

Quite excited as I've come to Birmingham today, its my elder sisters birthday and I'm taking her to see aha tonight in concert for her present. Also thought it'd be nice to have a girly day/night before baby arrives as will be a while after that we can do it again as she lives in Norfolk and I'm in Derbyshire. Morten Harket was her teen idol, I'm hoping she doesn't faint with excitement later or throw her knickers at him. Be interesting to see what baby makes of it though.

Thats fab news Em!
I put my claim in for it on 15th Feb and im still waiting (did have a letter in 1st march wanting more bloody info) sonim not holding out any hope with regards to a letter any time soon!

Once they get the info it should be fairly quick to payout as in less than a week as its only verification-calculations will have all been done. I'm just so fed up of living hand to mouth the past few months-il be pleased to have a few pounds spare to treat me n the kids x

This is the one we're getting. It's good because baby can go in car seat until she doesn't need to recline as much. Buggy board is a no do with Luke - he just cannot be trusted to stay. If he was 3 I think it would be different but at 2 hrs just too easily distracted, especially in crowds etc.

They wanted stuff off me that u couldn't provide-a new tenancy with just my name on it for example so I wrote them a letter stating why and they excepted that.
I would give them a ring this week and just ask if they've got everything etc etc and they may give you a better idea on how quick it will be sorted.
I've got a second letter today asking for March and Aprils pay slips but I took march's in a week ago and obv not got Aprils yet. They've also managed to flip my name back to my married name when the award letter from a few weeks ago clearly had my maiden name on it.
They haven't even asked for my maternity pay details.

Just got back from a very pointless anaesthetist appt, he even said it was a wasted journey as I don't intend on having an epidural unless in an emergency. Only 2 appts left until due date now!!
