I think this housing benefit will be the bane of my life honestly lol!

And ive heard they suspend ur claim when you update them for X amount of weeks until they update it. So dreading telling them when Charlie arrives! Alrhough at this rate hell be bloody born before i even hear from them anyway! Atleast with tax credits they give u the money lol just a nit crap with their letters so I never know exactly what im getting u til its explained lol.

Obviously grateful for what im offeredfor help with now being single. But its all new to be as when i was with the boys dad we didn't claim anything. Could do without all the stress of the not knowing tbh! But o well! Just need to be careful what i spend now until its sorted.
I wasnt sure if i could call to chase up, but if nothing by next Monday then ill defo call.

2 apps eeek! Not long!!!!
So excited to start hearing about all our May babas arriving! Xx

I only have a me appointment tomorrow andanorber one in 4 weeks, then a pre op assessment on 29th April and that's it!

My council don't suspend it, they just take back any overpayment through your payments if they've paid you too much. Baby been born shouldn't in theory effect it too much tho as what you get extra in tax credits and child benefit should be classed as 'allowed' income as its a minimum amount.mthe only thing that would effect it is change in childcare/higher paid job/ house move or someone moving in xx

Aw Cardiff Council r terrible for suspending and stopping while they update. They obv backdate then if ur owed more.
They overpaid my brother £300 before though and actually asked for it in one go!!!!!

FX i have no issues as i really cant be dealing with added stress! I just wish they would hurry :(

Tax credits overpaid me (allegedly!!) by £700 and took it back in £30 a month instalments ten decided they were going to take £70 a month back! I ended up paying hem £350 and paying thenihwr 142 over 2 payments to get it done

Fx it's sorted for u soon....my council are still taking overpayments that was from an old claim 5 years ago...they're quick to write a letter but never follow it up x

Well my extra money was short lived...rang housing benefit and 400+ has been taken off an old overpayment in one chunk so I won't be getting the money....my paperwork clearly states repayment at £11.10 a week so the woman on the phone advised me to email the office and request it to be paid to me...just a waiting game now :(

Bloody hell Em!!!!!
Argh i hate how they can just take it bk like that!
Thats how happened to my brother, took £300 in one go too!

It almost makes u want to say FUCK IT its not worth the hassle, but at the same time i need the help :(

I emailed them and have requested it to be paid to me and I'm prepared to go to the office if I need to.

To top it off I've just had work ring me about an apparent letter that I wrote regarding how I was taking my leave....I don't remember writing a letter-I had put the dates on a piece of paper and handed it to my boss but more for her reference but they want to know if I'm still doing the same-well no because I'm not entitled to shared leave anymore as I'm single! So got to write another letter to explain that.

Complete change of plan...il be going back to work 1 day a week from July!

Also just had the realisation that as 37 weeks is classed as full term I've only got 11 days until he's cooked!!

Does anyone else think their baby will make an appearance before may? I wonder who will be first out of us all

July seems really early! How come? Won't you lose mat pay if you do that?!

My me told me today that my baby is head down and fully engaged (although with baby 2 they do
Move up and down more) she said she wouldn't be surprised if baby came before May but she's said that before and been totally wrong... So we'll see! My BH contractions have been getting really strong recently and my back spasms too. Roll
On May

Oh gosh from July!
How come so soon hun!? Xx

I'm going back one day a week using my keep in touch days for a start then switching to shared leave which I get an additional 20 keep in touch days so max 30 days over 27 weeks plus only doing every other week over August because of school holidays...it will bump my wage back upto full time. I've told my boss that I will try it for a few weeks and if it's too much then il just go back on my leave, it's got to be run through head office first but I said I wasn't doing it for me as I can survive without the extra money but I'm doing it to give them a hand as they've lost a lot of staff just lately and the woman that's doing my job has had no proper training for it and the girl who is a step down from me is going on mat leave in June as well.
Plus I'm getting a bit of cabin fever been at home all the time-I need structure. I'm also thinking it will aid with the transition back to work but I've got until October to decide how many hours I want to work when I go back x

I was 10 days overdue with Noah. Was also put 6 days ahead on him, so was closer to my own estimated DD that theirs. I dont think ill be as late as that again.. But cant see me going early! But who knows ay!!!!

I just look at my mum as 3 of us were 14 days over apart from my brother who they let go 17days over (22yrs ago) So i dno why but i cant see me going early haha! X

I'm not due til 26th May so think I'm going to be only just May or June. My dates changed by 5 days ahead with all 3 of mine. Harry was 11 days late and James 2 days late so expect to get to due date and beyond. xx

I've got a feeling he'll arrive between 39 & 40 weeks but I dunno why as I was sure that they would move my date back by a few days at my 12 week scan.
If it follows my pattern of previous pregnancies I'm due a slightly early baby but time will tell x

My first was 10 days late too! This one better have better time keeping!! I'm desperately hoping to still have a May baby, so she'll have to be no more than 7 days over. My mum never went more than 4/5 days over so I'm really hoping!!

I'm quietly hoping she comes on 28th May because it's my nephews birthday and makes it a million times more likely that I won't have my inlaws here EVERY birthday ALL weekend like they want to for Jake now

Iv felt like im going to be early the whole way through, just feel like this baby doesn't want to stay put. I'm also having a sweep at 37 weeks and maybe opting for another c section of things don't get movin naturally so we shall see!! Xx
