Wow that's amazing Mrs Z! I know it's all formed at this stage, but didn't think they'd be able to see it so clearly just yet.

We were surprised, too, didn't expect to find out so soon, but she seemed pretty certain. Apparently it's a bit easier with boys than with girls at this stage? Anyway, we'd be happy either way, only grandpa would be heartbroken if it turned out to be a girl, after all.

And now on to hoping the screening results will be okay...anyone else waiting for the results of NT/bloods?

Yeh I've heard that boys are easier to spot too

I had the screening done Monday, they said up to 3 weeks for results. Everything is pointing to being ok so far, just got to wait on the bloods. It came back at 1 in 100,000 with my son (the lowest risk you can get) so hoping for similar this time too xx

I've had my midwife appt today and she said that because I'd had a small bleed last week she would try and find baby's heartbeat for me for reassurance, found it easily and bubs is happy in there

I've always avoided the screening tests with previous pregnancies, however being older I'm now quite keen to have it done.

Is there a specific time that we are supposed to have the test?

When i had my gender scan with Noah I shouted out the gender before she even got a chance to tell us lol! Its so obvious! She printed off a potty shot for us too lol!
Altho my friend thought she was having a lg, have birth to a boy lol!! Font get hope they could miss a willy!!!

NT screening is done at ur dating scan. They should of asked you.
They normally would do the bloods at the aame time too.
NT screening is before 14wks and the bloods i think 15 or 16.


We opted out for both with both pregnancies xx

We couldn't get the NT done at the dating scan as baby wouldn't stay still so I'm waiting to have bloods done though I can't get in with the midwife until 17 weeks. Maybe I should call them as I fear this may be too late.

Yeah if u really want them done id try and contact your antenatal clinic up ur hospital and see if they have contacts to get ur bloods done quicker xxx

I've moved doctors since my last pregnancy. With the old one, the midwives were based at the local hospital so we just called straight through to them. This time, they're based at the doctors, who are pretty useless! I'm pretty sure there's a number to get straight through to the midwives but I don't know where I've put it lol. Xx

It's so exciting to think many of us will be finding out our babies' gender soon

This is my task today....sort through this ridiculous mountain of clothes :-/

After I took that picture, I found another big bag I'd stored away under the bed so there's even more now
