I'd book it Mumbear, you sound like you just need some reassurance and can relax then. It's the worst feeling feeling like that.

Leah, I cant wait til you have your scan, if it's twins what do I win?!

GF91 so glad your scan went well!

So I've just had my last EPU scan, measuring exactly as I thought I should be at 8+4... all is well, so now just a normal 12 weeker so relieved after all that's gone on. Feel like I can breathe and believe its real for the first time since my bfp!

I think I will. Ok next question it's with a different company but would you mention you've had a previous scan or just wait and see what the results are and the mention it?

When did you have the last scan again??

Sunday, they guesstimated I was 5-51/2 weeks by the size of the sack and yolk!

I'm not sure then might be an idea to see what they ask and then go with the flow. As your going private it shouldn't matter if you've had a recent one or not should it? Maybe just book it and don't say you had another scan just that you had some cramping and pain and symptoms disappeared so wanted to check it out...

Saw my midwife this morning.

Because I was so ill in March as I caught the norovirus twice, I've lost so much weight (nearly 2 stone) which I couldn't really afford to lose, so she's referred me to a dietician. I'm also going to be consultant led as I had so many problems in my previous pregnancy. Oh the dramatics already. Hope everyone's ok.

Mumbear I think I'd have to go for another scan too. Really hope all is ok xx

Mumbear, I'd go for the scan personally and hopefully baby will be 6.5 with a little heartbeat! 2 weeks is so long to wait for reassurance.

I used travel sickness bands last time and they were really good. I think I'm developing travel sickness as well. I left work and really wanted a dominos garlic bread (healthy) and I ordered it. Was so looking forward to it, but by the time we arrived to collect it, I was feeling so sick. I'd gone all hot and funny and felt like I was going to pass out.

Hope the pains are just some sharper ligament pains MrsS! I had some sharp pains rather than cramping last night. Pretty sure I had them last time and I panicked a bit then as well!

Great news about the scans 1sttimer, now you can look forward to your 12 week scan!

I was a bit worried about people knowing at work as a friend at my workplace has been trying since Jan 2016 and I know it's been taking its toll. Anyway, I have a feeling she may actually have got pregnant this time. I may be wrong, but she just seems more relaxed and happier. I'm hoping she is as she'd be due around the same time!

Don't know if I mentioned, but I bought a tshirt for Elin saying 'I'm going to be a big sister' thought I should maybe think more positively now we've had an early scan and seen a heartbeat! Still waiting for my scan date. Hopefully it's soon as I had my midwife appt last week. Just a bit worried as she had my old addresss down on the iPad, so I hope she remembered she remembered to change it!

I'd book a scan too Mumbear, it will hopefully give you the best birthday gift!

I had my booking in appointment today, based my due date on lmp which makes it 4 days earlier than I think but that's fine as it should be 4 days left to wait for the 12 week scan. My appointment came through within a week last time so hopefully will get that next week. She wasn't happy im on aspirin though and was going to check with a consultant. The doctor said it won't do any harm though so am just going to carry on until I hear otherwise.

The travel bands aren't really shifting my nausea this week :(

I dont know how long i can handle the nausea for. Its worse towards the evenings. I really struggled last night too. Is anyone on anti nausea medication?

Strongminded - come dinner time my nausea is HORRIFIC. Nothing's helping whatsoever xx

I'm struggling too. I was being sick till after midnight, till literally I thought my entire stomach was going to come up. I eventually managed to sleep upright but the minute I woke this morning the nausea is bsck. What else can I possibly vomit? I feel so miserable this morning. I'm 6+1 so feel like I've still got ages of this! Xx

Looks like we are all suffering

MrsS i am 6+6 i too feel like i have a long time of this

Not to scare anyone lol but with my son i had nausea on and off for the first 4 and a half months. I hope its not the same this time lol

Hi ladies, according to nhs timings I'm 6w 6days but think I'm more just 6w

Pretty sure morning sickness has begun! Felt fine all morning, had some toast and BOOM! feel like I'm going to throw up ever since :(

I'm in a bit of shock to be honest but scan was all okay!!! Still very small, around 6 weeks, but the sonographer saw the heartbeat easily and I didn't even have to have an internal scan.

Going back in 3 weeks for a follow up scan due to my previous MCs and I also have a cyst on my ovary (they believe it's pregnancy related), nothing to worry about apparently.

Feeling so relieved, but still too soon to get really excited x

Great news, glad it went well! I've not been well this morning, cant tell what end I want to be "unwell" from so I hope it's pegnancy related and not a bug!

I'm so glad your scan went well Amy! Good news here too - heartbeat seen and measuring around the 6 week mark which is what we expected.. finally we can breath a sigh of relief!

Did you say you were on progesterone? Interestingly I was told today that progesterone will exacerbate cramping/early pregnancy pains and to be aware of that- perhaps that's why we've been freaking out over our cramps feeling too strong??

Glad to hear more good news from you Emma and baby pickle! Is anyone else still waiting for their first scan? Wish I'd booked mine for earlier now

Glad all the scans went well ladies. You must be feeling at least slightly better!

I'm still waiting, my scan isn't until the 22nd when I'll be 8+4. still feels forever away!

When I was on progesterone Emma my cramps were awful. Afte a few days of stopping it they've not been anywhere near as bad, so I can believe that! Xx

So pleased your scan went well Emma, I am in shock and still can't quite believe it, it was not the news I was expecting. The nurse I saw before/after was so so lovely, she said she felt a bit choked up I was so shocked and happy. Hopefully we can relax a bit now :dust: Apparently it's a Corpus Luteum (cyst) that is causing my pain :(

Thanks for all your well wishes ladies, shame we can't have a prosecco to celebrate!!

Oh Belfa, not cool, hope you feel better soon. Eggs are meant to 'bind' you up a bit :hugs: x
