I really feel for you ladies that are suffering with terrible sickness.. why can't their be a happy medium with enough nausea to keep us reassured but not so much that we can't eat or are constantly throwing up?!

Mumbear, that's a very healthy, positive attitude.. I've got everything crossed for you for this afternoon..

Babypickle.. just out of interest what was your CRL yesterday? I think mine put me back by a couple more days than even I thought, it was only 2mm?

My nausea is waking me up now. I put my travel sickness band on straight away but it's not touching it. Mornings are actually worse because I've nothing to vomit! I was sick about 5 times last night but least I'd eaten so it didn't hurt as much.

Try sipping Lucozade. It's helping me a little. Also sucking on sweets or chewy sweets. Only things keeping me going xx

I'll give the lucozade a try thanks hun. I was sooking on sweets, especially in the car, but now they're making me gag! Going to try eating a bit of toast this morning. At least if I'm sick they'll be something in there to puke. Silver lining eh! Xx

Had to google crl then - I'm so out of touch it is 6 years since I was pregnant with my little girl!! 3.5mm, however the sonographer said it is harder to measure such an early pregnancy abdominally but she said around the 6 week mark x

CRL at my scan was 8.4mm which they measured at 6w5d. I'll be intrigued to see if I get the same EDD at my 12 week scan!

We have a heartbeat! Dating at 6w1 so my dates at 10 days out! Not sure how that's possible but it's there!

I wouldn't focus on that Emma, I wouldn't even have thought about that if I hadn't seen people mention it on here. I was put a week back with my LO and he came 4 weeks early - go figure! x

Emma, this website says that from 6 weeks the baby grows 1mm a day so if I was 8.4 mm, then 2mm would be around 6 weeks.

I don't get crl my report says crl is 6.0mm but dates 6w1

Great news that there was a heartbeat. I recently went for a 8 weeks scan and was put back to 7 weeks exactly, not sure how I was 7 days behind either. It's a little annoying isn't it when your counting down the days to 12 weeks.x

Thanks ladies, that's reassuring! I'm a bit paranoid about growth as my son had IUGR and they told me at my scan yesterday that I have a heart shaped uterus - weird!! Xxx

My cousin has a heart shaped uterus. She had her first at 33 weeks and was told to prepare again for the same with her second. I think she had some steroids in case baby cake early and she actually went over!

Oh really? Thank you JoeyClare, I expect with my history they'll do extra scans later on too so at least I know I'll be being kept a close eye on. Want to just wake up in the second/third trimester now!

Has anyone dared think about names yet? Xxx

Oh wow BabyPickle we are in a similar position! I didn't know about it the first time round but my son stopped growing completely at 36 weeks so I was induced.. perhaps we'll be earlier in December after all! Are you still on progesterone? Xxx

We're leading a parallel pregnancy it seems hehe!! I found out after I'd had my little girl, she'd led transverse from 25 weeks and they think now this was because of the shape of my uterus, I ended up with a c-section after my waters broke prematurely. I found out about my uterus at a scan following a miscarriage and it was then confirmed by a consultant I saw. Yep still on the progesterone, until 12 weeks and the fragmin injections.

Having a right nightmare trying to keep the pregnancy a secret at the moment whilst living with my parents whilst we wait for our new house to be built (and they know I love wine!!) x

Can you stock up on some non alcoholic bottles (but hide them)?! I hear Aldi do some really nice ones? I really hope this time around we have less dramas- particularly now we're a bit better informed! Are you being scanned at 8 and 10 weeks too? Xx

Thank you, I do feel a lot better. I added my scan pictures to the fb group!

I didn't even no a heart shaped uterus was a thing? Mine tilts forward apparently although that was never mentioned in my last pregnancy so maybe that happened after the birth? Never thought to ask if it was anything to worry about.
