--x--December 2017 Snowflakes Thread--x--

I have horses too GF91! Actually I'm about to go out a hack with a friend and have been pondering all day whether I should or shouldn't...x

I've only got a small inhand/ridden show pony. How are you finding it all? I'm finding it's taking me twice as long as it normally would 🙈 I'm very lucky that he's on part livery so I only have to go up at some point during the day to muck out and do whatever with him.

All is well! My teeny little blob is measuring 6w5d which isn't far off what I'd calculated from my ov date and they've given me a due date of 21/12. Not going to change it until I have my 12 week as I know it could change again! Just one baby (phew) and I spotted the little flicker before she zoomed in. Hopefully this will help me relax up till my 12 week scan.

So glad everything was ok babe!! ❤️❤️❤️

That's brilliant joeyclare, so pleased for you. Really tempting me to book one for Monday now before I go back to work, I'll be 6+4!

Georgia, glad you're feeling better. I hope you're much better tomorrow and your husband doesn't come down with it! Xx

I have a small holding so I guess it's easier for me as they also live out but hope to have stables by winter. Pregnant at a different time of year this time round so I'm not sure how I'll get on by the depths of winter!

Those of you with toddlers, are you finding it hard to cope in these early stages? I'm a million times more exhausted. Luca's decided the only nap he has now is an hour in the mornings and that's it so I barely get to shut my eyes before I'm up again. He hates being indoors so I'm having to be out and about constantly with him and I have about 100 plastic bags in the baby bag in case I'm sick haha. The joys. I really took early pregnancy for granted when I could just come home from work and crawl into bed xx

I'm okay with it but you're a few weeks ahead of me. I was being sick then no I don't think I'd cope!

I'm not being sick but I just feel sick constantly and all he does it jump all over me and throw things at me haha xx

My sickness and sore boobs have gone over the last day or too, think that's a bad sign?

I'm currently sat watching Moana and studying but I'm so distracted I'm not really getting very far

I've been puking for a couple of days now, last night was the worst. I think I puked my entire stomach! Dreading going back to work next week feeling like this :(

Mumbear, I really hope not. Lots of people's symptoms come and go at the beginning! What are you studying? Xx

Back from my scan, measuring 6weeks 4/5 days, by my dates I'm 6+6 so not far off. Little heartbeat flickering away, so I'm hoping now I can relax abit... may of already looked at private scans for 9 weeks... or maybe I haven't 🤔😳 I do hate internal scans though! Feeling abit battered & bruised.

I'm studying a maths degree with open uni, not that I'm doing very well at the moment I'm really far behind and to distracted to concentrate :(

I've got really bad stomach pains but they're coming and going and I don't really know what to do.

GF91 - really glad your scan went well. Internals are horrible aren't they. I'm glad mine are all done now.

Mumbear - sweetie I'm so sorry you're feeling so crap. Just keep your feet up, relax and see how you go xx

Mumbear, try not to worry (I know, it's just that easy of course!) I had the same, and my symptoms disappeared for a full 3 days over the bank holiday weekend and then yesterday, tiredness, nausea and sore boobs appeared for the FIRST time since I even got my BFP I'm 8+1...try not to worry! They come and go and from weeks 7-9 apparently your hormones even out a little hence the temporary disappearance (apparently?!) :eh:

Leah! I can't believe you're so sick and such strong symptoms so early... I'm wondering if it's gonna be twins for you?! :shock:x

Honestly Helen I can't believe how shit I feel already  I had a yoghurt this morning and that came back. I sipped some soup & a wee slice of bread this afternoon and I thought it was staying down but feels like it's coming back on me now. I refuse to believe it could be twins  I think I'm just having a right little toerag!! Xx

Great news about the scan GF91. :D
I felt rough this morning, so tired and sick. The sickness seems to have gone for now, so I'm eating everything before I decide I can't stomach it again! I'm finding this one harder as in my last pregnancy, I could just come home from work and lie on the sofa if I wanted or just stay in bed till late at the weekend which gave me a bit of rest time if I'd been feeling unwell. Now it's come home from work and look after Elin till she goes to bed and I'm worn out.
I'm just waiting for my scan letter now.

My symptoms seem to come and go Mumbear. I was feeling really nauseous all day Sunday whereas today it was just the morning. Try not to worry. If your stomach pains are really strong, then go to A&E if you are worried. This was the advice I got from the midwife. Hope you feel better soon.,

MrsS- hope the nausea/sickness eases up! I was quite relieved for the sonographer to confirm that there was only one lodger in my uterus!

Anyone suffering with morning sickness, or all day sickness or even just nausea- I'd just like to recommend travel bands! I know I had a bug on the weekend, but I've felt absolutely terrible since, all I've eaten since Monday is half a wrap- that's it, I've felt that ill. Yesterday I felt sick from the minute I opened my eyes, I got so fed up that after lunch I went on the hunt for some travel bands (got mine in Sainsbury's) put them on straight away and within 10 minutes I felt so much better. Opened my eyes this morning & felt dreadful, put the bands on, back to bed for 10 mins & got up feeling a different woman. Don't get me wrong, I do still feel abit queasy but I can actually function!! Such a relief, was sstarting to wonder how the hell I was going to get through!

GF91 I used them with my first pregnancy and they were brilliant.

Ok ladies so I'm contemplating booking a scan for this weekend because I literately can not stand the not knowing at this point, it's been a week so it should be pretty clear if I'm progressing or not. Only downside is that it's my birthday this weekend so could ruin that but I said to my husband I'm not exactly bouncing of the walls about it anyway and I just need to know. Chances are we'all go and see a lovely heartbeat and my dates are off and if there is still no heartbeat then we know and I can stop worrying. Hubby is happy to do whatever I want but I'm so conflicted. So would you have a scan this weekend?

I think I'm going to need to try those bands. For now at least! I can't used them in work as my uniform is short sleeved and I'm sure I'd give the game away to the other girls! If it helps in the mean time though. Last night I had awful stomach cramps, I was doubled over in pain. I didn't know where exactly the pain was coming from though :( I can't get an early scan as the only 2 clinics that do them at 6 weeks have no appointments. I really hope it doesn't happen again, I was in tears I was so worried! Still woke up this morning with nausea and sore boobs. Not had any bleeding so I'm hoping it was my dinner didn't ageee with me or something!

Mumbear I'm really not sure. I think I would go, you probably won't have a great birthday with the amount you're understandably worrying anyway so maybe it'd be worthwhile? Xx
