My youngest bro and sister are 15 months apart. Yet there are 10 years between me and youngest bro.

Potentially only having 10 months between babies is just insane though??? They'd possibly be in same school year?

I want to enjoy James for a while before TTC, also I want him to be of a certain age when we try again for practical reasons (for example I want him to be able to use a buggy board as I don't want to have to buy a double pram?)

xxxxxxxxx

Hats off to the ladies who do it it must be so hard!

 fapatalking

My MIL had 8 babies. Baby number 6 arrived (her only singleton!) and was followed exactly 9 months later by twins (a couple of weeks early)!
That woman was a bloody saint. I'd have had a nervous breakdown living in her house! I want mine close but not that close!

My sister has 5 under 6. Jake 6 (feb)
Alfie 5 (nov)
Danny 4 (dec)
Sicilly 2 (may)
Stanley 5months (July)

Alfie and Danny is the closest gap of 13months. She said the only thing that was hard having a close age gap was that she couldn't leave Danny in the room coz Alfie would be all over him. So she either had to take Alfie or Danny with her when she needed to go elsewhere in the house.

OMG!!! I don't think I could cope with that many kids - big gap or not!!! Or is it a bit like cats - once you've got a couple you don't really find another that much extra work??!!! lol

well theres 18 months between me and my brother, so i was 9 months old when mum concieved him, closest ive heard of is 10 months

It kinda is like cats, but I think baby smell a lot nicer and aren't as mean. Stanley is the best baby I have ever known. He hardly cries has been sleeping through the night since 3months old. Is just so happy and content! It's all about routine! You need a routine to be able to cope with that many children.

My sister also has 4 step-kids (3live with her)

Charlie 18 (doesn't live with her and is pregnant)
Thomas 16
Mollie 13
Billy 11

Her OH is 40 she's 26

EEK!! Just caught up on OBEM and hubby ended the program with 'I want another baby!' When I said I did too he asked me what was taking me so long lol
Filled him in on my plans for the next 5 months :D
He's actually disappointed we're waiting that long but I've things to do and organise first so I'm not wavering

I'd love to have a summer baby and be preg over Christmas, but that'd mean waiting then hoping to catch straight away. Took us six months last time. Hmm hard all this!!

Please excuse any typos from my fat fingers!
Tapatalk madness!

Awww but I loved snuggling my baby near the fireplace.
Also 9 m pregnant in the middle of summer heat???
No thanks looool!!
Maybe a spring baby

I remember feeling all scared as the nights drew in cos I was all eek about how mad life was with a newborn and darkness made it worse! Summer or spring baby would be ace!

I don't think I could handle being pregnant in the summer, I don't think my husband could either! ;-)

I think spring would be the best time to have a baby, though, not that I'm biased ;-)

The summer heat was horrible for me ... especially when we got the really good weather

And I noticed that winter maternity clothes seem a lot nicer?

I guess the beauty of winter is you can warm up easier than you can cool down in the summer.
