Joining you in her 2ww is Lou.! Shes in her 6th ivf cycle and has had two day 3 embies popped back, i thought youd all want to know, wishing her loads of luck too x

Ivf 6! Wow lou is hardcore, this has got to be her time! Tell her we are thinking of her, seems they have got the fertilization under control now then? I've got a blocked nose today, not a cold so much just abit blocked up, back ache still there but not so bad, had a few tiny ' I say stabbing but not really' can't really explain but something goin on in my left side. I dunno I'm sick of over analysing. I'm 6dp2dt so I'm presuming they should be implanting now if they are going to x

Hey there JJ Mum... good luck to Lou! wow 6th cycle, I'm impressed. Just this first one is hard enough!!!

One of my husband's friends has just got to the 2nd trimester after lots of rounds of IVF so it can happen & hopefully at least one of those 3 embryos Lou's had implanted will stick xxx

And gemma your symptoms sound so great. Blocked nose is a common preg symptom, and I always knew pretty early on where the baby bean had implanted, you're just kind of aware of it.

Tinselcat - They grow quicker than you think, i had 11mm growth to 19mm in 4 days and that will have grown to 20mm by the time ov occured...i think??

Gemma - Jealous that you can walk down the beach to clear your head, sounds lovely. Hope your feeling better soon. How is your tummy?

Ive just got home after a visit to see famiily, 2 hour drive, overnight stay and back again. Felt so uncomfortable last night, bloated and could feel ov pain. We didnt BD last night but did this morning, aprox 22 hours after IUI but dont know what good it would be as i kept bottom in air for 15mins, then when it did go south it was all mixed up and bloody from yesterday doubt that will have aided the swimmers through the cervix!

Silly question.....when they put the swimmers into the uterus area, can it slip back out through your cervix? Or are they in there good and proper??

I don't think they slip out, maybe some do, I dunno really. I'm not too sure when it comes to iui. Anyone heard from mishi, nicknack and Moley? Guess they are having timeouts after their bfn' s, hope they are spoiling themselves. X

I think it's good you've taken some time off Gemma. Work comes second and you need to take care of yourself.

Chaz I don't think they can slip out, but putting them up in the cervix helps them with the most difficult part of the journey. I also heard that when people have blood around a ovulation on a natural cycle it's a fantastic sign and it helps the swimmers (similar to ewcm). You have done as much as you can now to get that eggy, so now rest as much as you can, keep well hydrated and try not to stress about every symptom etc. are you on progestrone for the 2ww?

Wow 1 week today my period should be here, start injections a week tomorrow and fly to cyprus 2 weeks to day, it's all coming round quick and I'm so nervous. Started sorting out my holiday clothes today as it will be about 35-36c while I'm there so hot, and I won't be able to use the pool after egg collection, so looking forward to some nice weather.

ARGH I HATE THESE INJECTIONS!!!!

Did cetrotide in tummy this morning and (a) it hurt and (b) it bled and I have to wrestle with my OCD every time worrying if I've done something wrong, like, did I inject into a vein, did I inject air bubbles into myself, is that bad, am I going to hurt myself argh argh argh so stressed!!!

Also, despite feeling fat & bloated right now, this is the only time I remember wishing I had more fat on the tummy as maybe it would make this thing easier!!!

Sorry for the moan I just dread these injections!!!

Cetrotide the one where u have to mix it and draw it back up isn't it, I liked that one I felt like a nurse when I was preparing it haha, and don't worry cos mine used to bleed about 60% of the time and my friend who's diabetic who injects 4 times a day said its nothing to worry about, you've just hot a tiny blood vessel that's all. As for the air bubbles, I'm sure it tapping the needle and pushing it up so a little bit appears at the top, as long as u r doing that no need to worry.
So I haven't got much to update, still abit congested but all other symptoms seem to have gone, especially the sore boobs, hope this isn't a bad sign, maybe my bodies just getting used to the progesterone... I want my symptoms back haha x

Tinslecat, try not to worry. If you could seriously hurt yourselves they wouldn't let us do it ourselves. I injected all mine into my thigh (quite chunky there) lol

I feel all kinds of bloated still, bleeding stopped and sex hasn't hurt so bonus! Its very regimented thoi and OH has said 'Im not a performing monkey' to which I replied.....'until next week you are now dance!' Ha ha!

Im keeping a hot water bottle handy to keep my tummy warm.....google says it can help blood flow/ supply and it feels nice too xxx

So do they recommend u to bd aswell then Euro g the iui? I suppose it makes sense if your prob is ovulation and they have made you ovulate x

Yeah they said to BD that evening and following morning, but we did yesterday morning and evening to catch it and again tonight x

Sorry to butt in on the thread but I just wondered does anyone know the success rate of IUI when the woman has pcos? No issues on dh's side. Dh asked me yesterday and I actually don't know!

Also, is there a set sort of procedure for women with pcos who have tried Clomid? Like, do they use injections or tablets etc? X

Hey Miss J. Your like me. I have pcos and endo and my OH is fine. Most common way is injections daily, scans, trigger shot and IUI and that's exactly what I had done. The scans determine how well you are responding and they'll adjust doseage from there xxx

Gemma I reckon this is a good sign as looking back to when I conceived and before I knew I was preg I was extremely irritable and angry and on the verge of tears. Thought it was just a bad dose of the blues and pmt. Fingers and toes crossed for you hun! When is your OTD?

Tinselcat your injections sound horrible. I have to inject myself every night for the rest of my pregnancy as i have a high risk of blood clots. I hate doing it cos it stings but gotta be done. Wishing you lots of luck I'm sure it will all be worth it x

In my fertility treatment bank I have 1x IUI and 2x Fresh and 2x Frozen IVF cycles.

I feel like I have that really dull achy feeling you get when AF is here and my tummy is bloated. I didn't have this last time so I'm hoping its good.

Whats the standard progesterone dose? I'm on 400mg once daily xxx
