Please can I join this group, I had a failed cycle in the UK last year where I stimmed for 21 days due to poor response, got 11 eggs of with 7 fertilised, got a positive result but later miscarried and had a hell of 3 months.

But I'm now ready to go again, this time I'm going private and going out to cyprus for icsi, should start stimming in under 2 weeks then flying to cyprus on day 7. The clinic will put 3 or 4 embryos (if that many make it to day 5) back. Very excited but very nervous after the terrible last cycle.

Thank you. I live in Germany as my hubby is british forces so we travelled back to London last year for ivf and stayed in a hotel for 3 weeks, really didnt like the clinic or support from clinic. So we decided to go somewhere else this time and pay private, after lots of research narrowed it down to cyprus as the most suitable for us and mix it with a 2 week holiday too (2 weeks in London v's 2 weeks in cyprus = no contest lol).

Lol sounds good to me too, I live in Tenerife and we are getting free treatment here but I think if I had to go private I'd go to Madrid or somewhere. I can't fault this hossie atall though they are amazing x

Thanks RAFMrs, im on Menopur for IUI. Now on CD12. I was on 75bit/mml and now on 81bit/mml (random number) I had 18 injections last time at 75m and had 1 egg that made it to 18mm, and on both scans so far i have 1 at 11mm. Ive been eating lots of chicken, and berries etc. Eggs on toast for lunch tomorrow and chicken and rice for dinner!!

Ive done lots of running around today so its sofa day tomorrow and ill try the hot water bottle, and maybe have an afternoon nap

Hopefully your egg will grow Chaz, can't they just up it more if your a slow responder?
I'm feeling really cramps, windy and back ache, alot like af symptoms but I'm only 2 days past transfer so It can't be a pregnancy or af sign. I'm constipated tho so I think that's to do with it, these pessies have got alot to answer for. Mentally I feel good though and relaxed, hope it lasts! Xxx

Hey gemma, just wondering what happned to the rest of your eggs that were fertilised? Did they allow them to grow to day 5 and then freeze them? Do you know how many made it? Xx

Oh Gemma, are the cramps a good or bad thing after transfer? Could be be from EC?

Hiw are your injections going Tinsel?

I had a follow up scan today, 1 egg at 19mm so excited! So the nurse gave me my booster and I'm in at 9am tomorrow to start IUI feeling really positive now xxxxx

I'm not enjoying the injections/blood tests but I'm doing them!! Not much progress yet on the follicle front so my dose is upto 125ml, guess I will find out later today if that's gonna go up again.

I'm really not sure if they made it, they said we'd find out on the 14th when we go for beta. I dunno what to hope for really because if FET is classed as a try, they said my other eggs were only a C grade and therefore if they make it to blast won't they be bad quality blasts and therefore won't the chance be lower? I think I'd rather do another fresh round and hope for better quality than put back rubbish ones.

All done. It hurt too, stupid speculum do there was a little blood!

Last IUI we had 63million swimmers, this time only 10million. We hope that because we had sex Monday evening!

I've had a tummy ache and cramping this morning and nurse says that's a good sign of ovulation. So excited and shit scared! xxxx

An emotional wreck today, had to leave work, hubbys demanded I go off on sick until I feel abit better. I'm still getting pretty bad backache and tired and cramps and stuff, I do think I'm on alot of progesterone tho, 3 a day!

Latest scan this morning (CD 8) shows 1 follicle 13mm, and 2 follicles 11mm, and a bunch of smaller ones.

Lining is apparently looking good.

Nurse thinks egg collection may be towards the end of next week.

Ab area feeling tender and bloated. Blah...

Yep really good tinselcat, them follicles grow really quickly aswell, by end of next week u should have a nice batch there, exciting times. Sorry your feeling bad chaz, I feel better today now I've made my decision to have a few days off, I'm going to go on a nice long walk later along the beach front I reckon, clear my head, clean this bloody house too cos it's a tip haha x

Have been feeling pretty uncomfortable all morning in abs area, am presuming this is fairly normal?

I'm not really working today so don't have much to distract me!

A week feels like forever right now!
