First scan/injection today @ 12, followed by job interview @ 2.15, followed by next job interview @ 4... Am slightly stressed! Please wish me luck

P.s. any idea how long the first appt where they scan you & show you how to inject yourself lasts? I hope I've allowed enough time for that & travel! :-/

There in!!!!!
So we got the official numbers today, out of my 15 eggs 14 was mature and inseminated, out of them 14 8 were fertilized with ICSI, she made a big point of saying the sample on the day was really bad! Anyway out of them 8 we had 1 grade A, 1 grade B and the rest were C. She explained the reason for transfer today was because she already knew which 2 were going to go back up and the best place for them is inside me.
The other 6 she is monitoring, she said if they get to blast and are good enough quality she will freeze them.
So overall I'm really happy to get an A and a B she said I'm an ideal patient and we have good chance. I did push her why the other 6 were not very good but she said its hard to tell but did say the sperm could be to blame. I dobbed hubby in for smoking and she told him he must quit instantly, was pretty funny!
So ladies, I'm now in my 2we xx

Anyone know why a big batch was grade C but there was a grade A in there? I was abit shocked myself I kind of assumed cos of my age they would all be good quality x I'm not moaning tho cos I'm happy with what we have back, I told my hubby today I'm PUPO then explained what it meant he thought it was funny x

I think the worst interviews are out of the way now, so I'm hoping to relax and start to take things slower (assuming I get some good news on the job front next week!!)

I just wish I didn't have to make a job decision without knowing whether I'm pregnant or not!! (I'd take the easier job if I was!!)

Gemma - when the nurse said the sample was 'bad' was she referring to morphology? in which case do you know what %age were normal?

I'm curious as our frozen sample is 2% normal, which the nurse at the time suggested was pretty bad but it's one of the best my OH has managed so far!

I have no idea sorry, she was Spanish doing her best to speak English, she just said it was very bad and so they had a tough time on the day and that may have contributed to why the remaining 6 wernt as good, but I thought with ICSI they select the best, surely out of how many million he had 8 good ones. I'm happy with the result anyway we got 2 good embryos so I can't complain. Sperm takes 3 months to form and exactly 3months ago my DH was going through major head surgery so I think tgat could be why, as his last sample was pretty good. Guess it just depends what they get on the day x

Oh yeah deffo, I keep saying to DH, 'your embies want a McDonald's and your embies want a drink' haha, I feel ok though, bit of a sore belly still as ET was only Wed, and sorry for this info but I've got terrible wind and loads of white thick discharge, is this the vaginal progesterone suppositories? X

PRogesterone definitely increases the white discharge, so that sounds like a good thing!

If you're pregnant you'll probably be a lot more windy than normal so I wouldn't worry about that aspect either

Today I woke up really tearful and cried a tiny bit, but not cos I feel sad or scared or anything really, just got emotional for no reason, will put it down to the progesterone. I only just got up aswell, the last 2 weeks I've been getting up really early with nerves but today was really calm for first day ever x

I know that doesn't make sense reading it back haha, I meant I woke up without the nerves but then felt abit teary afterwards.... crazy hormones I tell ya. X

Ive almost broken dwon this week and my nurse has told me to rest. Had my2nd tracking scan on Fri and had now growth. She said im not responding and has increased my dose slightly for 4 days and scan again Tuesday am. If im not growing anything with drugs, what the F do they do with no drugs? Stupid dosile ovaries!! Lol. So that has really frustrated me and nurse has told me to rest as the drugs work better when you are resting??? I havent stopped all month, work, running around after other people and my little side line ive set up (took off quicker than i expected so ive been working into the early am some nights and on my days off)

So tomorrow im doing nothing. And im gonna eat some crap today as eating 'superfoods' hasnt really done anything, and i really want a glass of wine! Doh! Anyway rant over xxx

Sorry your not responding too well just yet, how many days of Stimms have you done and what dosage? My last cycle I was really bad at responding and in the end stimmed for 21 days, but at the end I got 11 eggs and 7 fertilised. They would of only allowed me to stimm for a max of 21 days so was lucky.
Are you eating plenty of protein? Even get some protein bars from the shop as if I remember I was trying for 60 grams per day (which is a lot of chicken,eggs etc lol).
Please try and rest hard this weekend, you are asking your body to work really hard to grow them eggs and for that they need your energy, so feet up and get a good book and be waited on (with some short walks for blood flow). Make sure you keep your tummy warm too, even by using a hot water bottle on it.
