Slimming world support thread.... Tips, ideas, advice and support

Thank you ladies :-) when I was pregnant I couldn't get enough carbs so SW sounds perfect, especially for when I (hopefully) get pregnant again xxx

You will do Hun... I have 2 beautiful little ones now and although I never forget what happened and how awful i felt, I feel it had to happen for me to be where I am today. Slimming world is mainly about a healthy way of life and a good balance of healthy foods with even being able to have the odd 'naughty' snack in moderation. This in itself will help with your TTC xxx

I just had a thought, we could do a lil roll call thing on original post maybe? I'm finding it hard to remember ppls weigh in days, and if ppl want to put anything like how much they have lost so far, how much left or their target? What you think?
 
Roll call sounds good. My WI days are Tuesdays. Im on red days as of midnight! Today was carbalicious and Im feeling it :shock:
 
Ok great :-) my wi day is Thursday eve, my target for now is 10st7lbs. I'm gonna be brave and tell you I started on thurs at 14st1.5lbs

I don't understand the red and green way, I follow extra easy but feel like I've over loaded on carbs this week! I'm breast feeding so if I have loads of veg and salad it upsets her tummy so need to have some solid style food if that makes sense? I have also followed it 100% this week and have hardly lost!!! I must be doing something wrong.... I don't think I'm varying the food that I'm eating enough?? Xxx

Red and green aren't so.hard once you get going with them. It's no meat on green days or you replace the healthy extras with meat. Red days you syn the carbs or have them as healthy extras so its more veg, fruit and lean meat. I won't be doing many red but the days I have soup I will.

Thanks Hun, think I will ask the consultant for some support. I've lived off super easy meals this week as my little girl hasn't been sleeping so just grabbing something when I can. Mainly the low fat super noodles or stir fry with rice oh and muller lights. Xxx
 
Got proper hungry in town today and greggs was calling me so I went trouser shopping and picked up some 14s and they both fit. I can't remember the last time I just picked a 14. I usually take in a 16 as well. :yay: safe to say it stopped me going in greggs and now Im about to have some tomato soup and had grapes to tide me over.

Yey well done on smaller jeans!! And avoiding greggs! Greggs is evil lol

I've done better today, and Morrisons is amzing! Have loads of meats that were reduced, mainly turkey for freezer and lots of Vegas for casserole yummy! Also got 12 mullet lights as they are 4 for £1 !
 
Thanks ladies! Greggs is truly evil. I dread to think of the syns lol.

Morrison is Fab for bargains isn't it. I went in for a few bits before a big shop online tonight but ended up buying quite a bit because everything is such a good price! For 74p I got a living mint, fresh chives and loads of different herb cut offs which Im going to chop and put in the freezer. Also, baked beans are 50% free at the moment and robinsons are only 50p.
 
Just had the scrummiest chilli con carne and all of it was completely free. Lush.

Only lost 1.5lb but came home weighed myself again, was the same as what they weighed me, went for a wee and weighed again (i had been bursting since I left for the meeting nearly 2 hours before that) And I was 1lb less again lol x
 
I lost 1lb! Im well happy with that. Keeps me on track for losing 2 stone by christmas which was my aim :) Off to adjust my ticker now. Im aiming for 2lb next week though so brought the '100 extra easy days' book so just about to write my weekly food plan out now :)
