Slimming world support thread.... Tips, ideas, advice and support

Thanks everyone and thanks for your meal plan photos am! Have been shopping and got loads of fruit and veg and muller lights to snack on. Are muller lights foods??
The thing I'm mainly struggling with is finding foods oh and lo will eat too.
 
Yeah mullers are free. I've stocked my fridge but don't actually eat them very often :/

I find the family favourites like chilli, cottage pie, spag bol etc are really easy to tweek to sw friendly. Roast dinners are brilliant as everyone loves a roast but it's so say to make so it's free. I make a quorn bolognaise bake the other week and it was really nice. My LO loved it too and it was brilliant reheated for lunch. Sandwiches and fruit for lunch I find is good for LOs too so you can have the same.

Tbh I think my devil is bread used to have toast, and sandwiches most days as its way with baby, and of course I had butter lol so I don't have that
I've been having meat and rice or pots, but to make veg easier I have steam in the micro veg portions. Instead of snacking on chic I have bananas and muller light x
 
Tip for sarnies to get past the no butter... Use low syn mayo/salad cream to give it a bit of a "kick" so you can still enjoy a."nice" sarnie.hehe ;-) xx

Nah see the sandwich or toast for me is my thing where its all or nothng lol, I'm happy to change everything else. Great tip though x
 
I know what you mean... I was like that in the beginning mind... Although i found that i would rather a little of something than not at all. Everyone is different though :-) xx

I've found with sandwiches I just have egg mayo as I never put butter with that anyway. Using mayo as butter is a good plan though!

I went 4.5 syns over yesterday but Im going to even it out as Im sticking to about 10 syns a day.

Ok, I need a little help here - I am starting SW on Tuesday and I have NO IDEA how it works other than they have green days and red days and you have to count syns(??). How do I work out how many syns I can have each day? I am 40 years old, 5ft 3in, and weigh about 11 3/4 stone ( not dared weigh myself since my mc!). I want to get back to 9 1/2 stone. Can anyone tell me how to work out how many syns I should be having each day? Thank you.
I really want to start eating healthily as from Monday even though my 1st meeting will be Tues.
