Slimming world support thread.... Tips, ideas, advice and support

Somehow I don't think the dominos I'm eating is going to help with WI this week ;-). Just needed to scratch that junk food itch.

Im totally having dominos tonight and a magners. I don't really have nights in or out now but my sister and fiance are coming over for a night in so sod it. Tomorrow Im making a meal plan too. I always fail when I have no plan. Did no exercise today either but dragging my mother out for a 4 mile run tomorrow which should help. Im going to WI before WI on Tuesday though...just to prepare myself lol.

How did waggamamas go?!

Im blaming the weather for us feeling the sugar urge. Rain makes us want comfort.
 
I've been sooo hungry all day today but I've been good and not given in to it. Was even able to order OH an ice cream at the farm earlier and watch him eat it without giving in to temptation!
 
Glad it not just me that's wanted to stuff my face with crap! B has been difficult today which makes it harder. But I also had a sulk about money, so just had a plate of potch and green peppers and onion!
 
Just needed it. Well did not need it, wanted it. But had it now, urge gone and back on plan tomorrow morning. Of to a BBQ but I know that there will be lots of free food so going to be strict and make sure I full up on that.

There must be something in the air making us all want crap!

I'm struggling. OH has had crisps and dip already. Git!

Does anyone know how many syns in an average portion of coleslaw? Thanks ladies.

Seems to range from 7-9 for 100g or 6 for reduced fat :-)

Wagamamas was fab thanks AugustMum :-) I was really good and had a diet coke and chicken raman but then I ruined it by buying a medium sized savoury popcorn at the cinema and eating most of it lol!!! I hate to think how many syns that was :-( will have to be good till Tuesday weigh in now!
 
Salted popcorn is 6.5 for 25g, not too bad cos its light so you prob had less than that :-)
 
Ooh, perhaps not as bad as I thought then! Should have gone large ;-) lol
 
I think I remember someone saying that 25g was only about a handful of popcorn. Never weighed it though. I will next time the OH buys it! Glad the meal was good though :)

Feeling way more positive today. Back on track and ready to keep going. It's a gorgeous day here so I've made scrambled egg and bacon for breakfast and will have an apple in a bit then me and the LO are off on a bike ride! Having a red day today so having soup for lunch and sausage and mash for dinner (potato is the HeB). I want to stay the same or get a 1lb off. *does a determined face*
 
The sainsburys good for you ones and the weight watchers ones. I can't decide which ones I like more so I alternate lol. They're both half a syn each.
 
My yummy dinner... Hoisin duck skewers with veg stirfry and rice :-) Syn FREE!! Duck Skewers are from Iceland... 15 in a pack for £3!!! They are free in red and EE or 2 syns each on green and girls... They are bloody lovely :-) xx

Ooh thanks munchkin sounds good!

Anyone got any slow cooker recipes? I usually just bung in beef with a stock and veg but gets a bit boring.

LOL olive that's what I do, I do have a recipe book for slow cooker though I might have a go at something

I gave in to a curry the other night :-( still feel unsatisfied though, why am I finding this week so hard? I've been good not to go off plan more than the curry and one cider, but its been hard and miserable lol
 
Olive Im using my slow cooker today :) Im making sausage casserole with leeks, potato, sausage, sprouts, carrot and parsnip. I put in some thyme, veg stock, tin of beans and some water with it too. Maybe some tomato puree as well. Its so tasty.

I haven't had one 100% day this week. Im going to a group tomorrow instead of tonight because Im going hill running with my mum tonight but Im fully expecting a sts or gain. Still going to group though! I need to put in line under this week and start a fresh. I want a 100% week from today to next Tuesday. I had a really good loss doing that and Im desperate to see the 10s again!

Hi everyone! Hope you've all had a fab bank holiday wknd! I've been in holiday, it was lovely!! Went for my WI this morning and lost 2lb! So happy with that considering I've been away! Xxx
