Slimming world support thread.... Tips, ideas, advice and support

I'm after some advice again lol :-)
Can anyone advise me on the best dishes to order at Wagamamas that have low syns??!! I am going out for a meal tomorrow night and want to have some idea what I should choose and what I should definately avoid! Thank you in advance :-)
 
After some talking me and my Oh are both wanting to join slimming world but we both cant go because of the children. is it safe to join slimming world whilst breastfeeding?
as i have 2 stone to shed from before i was pregnant, am trying to exercise but i have a real sweet tooth. So can anyone help me by giving me advice til one of us manage to get to a session x x x
 
hey ladies :D

Im thinking of joining SLimming world but struggling to get proper info on how it works!! Im used to WW (being an ex consulant) BUT i need to be following a low sodium and low ish carb diet and slimming world i think would suit me!!

Can anyone offer me any help and advice?? xxx
 
Hey ladies :-) Tabbi I'm ebf and it is great, you just get extra allowances

I find it hard to explain the diet but some of the others will be able to! It's a great plan though :-)

Cumberland veggie are 1 each, Lincoln's are 0.5 x
 
Hey Kat86, yes please! My starting weight was 13st 2.5lb my first weigh in on Wednesday 15/08/12 I was 13st 1.5lb My second WI on 22/08/12 I weighed exactly 13st. My target weight is 10stone which is what I was 4 years ago...... I think I will need a miracle to get back there really!! :) xxx

All updated hun. Just take one week at a time and you'll be there in no time!! I've just had steak with Peppercorn sauce and roast veg all free, it was bloody gorgeous!! Xxx
 
ARGH! Im having one of those weeks where I just want to eat eat eat. I was on plan all day then fluffed it up this evening. Ive barely done any exercise either this week so am going to have to run tomorrow and zumba on Sunday with another run Monday to get a week towards my silver award. Feel sodding lazy the past few days and all bloated. Rarrr.

Sorry...moan over :blush:

I posted yesterday on this thread asking for advice re: syns in Wagamamas food as we are going tonight - having looked at the SW site this morning they have a feature on Wagamamas :-) I have printed it off and will be taking it with me tonight lol. I am going to look sooooo sad!!!

Hey hun, sorry I didnt see your message. I'm on holiday in wales at the moment so just nipping on when I can. I've never been to wagamamas so not too sure I'm afraid. Don't feel daft taking the notes with you. I'm trying not to eat before checking syn value at the moment. It's hard though. Xxx

Hi Kayelle, I am thinking of having chicken ramen - described as 'a big bowl of noodles in a flavourful soup. Includes grilled chicken sat on top of the broth and garnished with spring onions & bamboo shoots' yum. Not sure if there are any syns but I think the noodles are syn free so it should be fairly healthy lol. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it :-)

Me too!!! I NEED chocolate, crisps and any other crap I'm not supposed to have!!! On holiday too so it's more tempting than ever!!

So far today I've had 2 alpen light bars a baked potato with beans and cheese and a miller light yogurt. I don't think I need to class any as syns do I? I'm breast feeding so get more healthy extras. How are you getting on hun? Xxx

Oooooh that sounds gorgeous!!!! I would prob class that as chicken chow mein so well within your syns (that's just me guessing though lol) xxx
 
Somehow I don't think the dominos I'm eating is going to help with WI this week ;-). Just needed to scratch that junk food itch.
