Have you been doing what you can to keep them going Ammdaz? Nice long walks?! Are baths supposed to help to or do they just ease them? I've noticed a warm bath has been setting some tightenings off for me lately. Get some sexy time in too - just for good measure, make them really count hehe xx

Wandering around seems to get them coming more so I'm walking round the house lots! I'm going to try a bath in a bit because I'm sure I heard somewhere that if its not the real thing a bath will most likely stop it but if it is the real thing it will carry on! I've tried bouncing on my ball but if anything that makes them less frequent so I'm staying away from that for now! Xxx

I'm so uncomfortable right now so I'm laid on the sofa. We spent the afternoon walking round shops. Hmm. I should do something like bounce but bum pain may win. Xxx

Ive been really fidgety all day, couldn't sit down for more than 5 mins and now that my husband is due home any minute I'm suddenly exhausted and can hardly keep my eyes open! Have dinner to make and I've been looking forward to some company all day... How long till bedtime?!?

Aww good luck to your DD. DS seems to be getting on really well, he went off with a big smile on his face today and we've been hearing lots of stories about all the fun stuff he's been doing xxx

I've had a right funny turn tonight, feel so sick and no energy. Happened while I was in the shower, it wasn't a hot shower so God knows what's occurring off to bed soon I think xx

Thanks Hayley. They are still coming, still mild though. Just got DS to bed so going to be doing a lot of pacing up and down to encourage things along! Lost more plug, yay!

That sounds horrible Hayley, I get turns like that occasionally, not sure what causes it. Hopefully a nice early night will sort you out xxx

Just got weighed for the first time since I got my BFP. I really didn't want to be obsessed with my weight the whole pregnancy because I know how easily I can get obsessed by these things.

Anyway, I'm only 25 pounds heavier than when I found out I was pregnant WAHOO! So less than 2 stone at 39 weeks is good. Am celebrating by eating a fresh custard slice!!

Well today I've had my first 3 'any signs' texts. People have been good up to now, I guess this is just the start... X

My brother text me today asking when the sprog would be here. I think it's the first time he's mentioned baby directly and totally unprompted all pregnancy (he cares, he's just not very good at showing it!)

I feel like my bumps really dropped again tonight - can't get comfy and I've had to put my nightie on because my trouser button was digging in. Feels like baby's sat on my lap now!! This better not last too much longer

Brothers are strange. My big brother has children so he's been really interested whereas my other brother who I'm much closer to never really asks. He felt the baby kick the other week and got freaked out and said it was like alien! I know they both care and they're both excited, just show it in different ways x

Bev have you tried asking the doctor for some tablets? I'm taking omperazole tablets. Just one a day, it helps a little. The acid has been killing me, it's given me a bad cough.

I think a thread on the other side would be a great way to keep in touch.

Still getting tightenings, slightly stronger and quite frequent but not enough to make me ring the hospital yet! Hoping they step up a gear soon xxx
