Hi ladies sorry to hear you're feeling rough Hayley, hope it doesn't last too long. And Kim I hope you get some good news about Sammy.

I've been worrying a bit about how I'm going to get hold of OH if I go into labour when he's at work. He's not allowed his phone on him when he's working although he can check it and text sometimes when it's quiet. So I can't text or phone him directly because chances are he won't check his phone for hours. I just have to ring a number and hope someone answers and can get hold of him for me!

Today I got newborn snuggles with OH's mate's baby Belle she was soo tiny and cute and it made me want my little girl here even more! My baby was kicking like mad when I was holding Belle, I wonder if she could sense her lol. I was hoping it might send me into labour but not yet! Going for a walk along the beach in a bit, I'm sure it will give me plenty of BHs, every little helps lol.

well im now fully cooked, exciting but i feel fine now, was dancing this morning with Alyssa thinking this cant be right to be so perky and energetic at this stage haha
with alyssa i was in a fair bit of discomfort and couldnt turn over in bed etc got crap alssp and felt like death the last few weeks so im really amazed how much better i feel this time

Oh wow, just caught up on the sheepskin thread! For what it's worth I don't think either of you two said anything out of line!

Congrats on being fully cooked bev! And great you still have lots of energy. Mine is waning now xxx

I don't think either of you said anything wrong on the sheepskin thread either, some people just can't agree to disagree and that's what happens.

Saw another mw this morning who checked my blood pressure after it was high yesterday and today it was fine. I don't understand how it can vary so much?! If anything I was more stressed and anxious this morning from worrying about it but today it was 112/78 and yesterday it was 137/94. How can that even happen?!

I has a high BP at the start of my mw apt I'm not sure what the top number was but the bottom number (which apparently is the worrying one if too high) was 92. She did it again at the end and it had dropped to 78?? In 15 minutes! It's so strange how it works. I asked her to take it again afterwards and it was still low x

I had problem with my BP Beesmall, a few years back, it was this one nurse who was evil. With her it was always high. Went to see a Dr and it was fine! They should not talk to you while you have it checked, eating or drinking can affect it, or rushing to get to an appt etc. It's a very strange thing!

as for the sheepskin thread...5element and I both feel guilty I see! But we were very reasonable in what we said. some people are a little narrowminded and judgemental I think.. Ho hum!

Lovely fully cooked bump Bev. I have a fair bit of energy, I didn't expect to! It's good!

P.S. I know I'm a Sept intruder...but I could be a Sept mummy, if my cycle was true to form my true due date is 3rd Sept!

Ante natal long class wasnt too bad. Very tiring though, I might go and have a nap in a minute! My calves swelled up from all sitting though.

Hope sammy is ok? My car has persistent ear mites but she now just won't come in and runs if she sees us as hates drops so much and can't trap her in as she would just sneak out and we live in forest, so very outside cat! Cats are little rascals!

Have got to repack hospital bag as they don't allow you to take a holdall and A changing bag, just holdall. Going to pack two and leave other to car and swap after birth xx

My cats are little monkeys too. Refuse to swallow worm tablets. one won;t even eat it in her food. Agghh!

Bubbles I can't believe they won't let you take a holdall and a changing bag?! Surely it's no different to having a handbag? I've packed a small holdall and my changing bag and I've got another bag of stuff to leave in the car just in case!! I hate silly rules.

I know so stupid! They said oh can just go home and grab stuff, I live 50 mins from hospital so not that easy and he won't know where anything is. They even went on about how big the rooms are, so why can't they fit in one more bag! Oh well excuse to repack it all, I quite like it really xx

would they really start counting bags? that's mad! my stuff is in two holdalls I could NEVER get it into one! Hopefullywon;t be going in at all but best to have it ready. sounds stoopid!

I can't believe they won't let you take 2 bags, great that you're not bothered by it but it would P me off haha.
I've got all baby clothes in changing bag apart fom going home outfit as don't want midwives to use it by accident should they need to help for whatever reason. X

Let's not make our nice thread about that one now what do we all have planned for the weekend? I'm having my freakishly fast growing hair highlighted and cut tomorrow then going to my sisters new house for the first time for tea. She's just moved in with her boyfriend and she goes on holiday Monday till the 4th September so baby is under strict instructions to stay put until she comes back
Then I'm going to see my best friend and her 1 week old baby again on Sunday, had terrible period pains when I last went so hopefully she's stimulating my cervix and might bring my baby out quicker haha x

aww that sounds lovely Haylian! I am busy with my step daughters all weekend including Monday. Also hubby's bro and wife are bringing their 18 month old on Sunday. The girls will love that. But our house isn't that toddler friendly yet, so it's going to be chaos I think as he's a bit wild! I am looking forward to it but also tired just thinking about it all!
