Ps. shot the guy with the car alarm - better before LO is born and then you have 2 LO's awake with you and not one!

Omg 8 days away! I can't believe I didn't realise that. I'm so excited to see the first labour thread.
I know we say it a lot but I can't believe how close we are now.

Has anyone noticed baby movements have changed? She hardly moves when I lay in bed now. As soon as I sit up she wiggles away but when laid now she's very still. Not worried as such caste she moves loads during the day but I don't like that I can't feel her much when laid on my sides xx

It does feel different doesnt it! Wee man still is a right little wriggler but they are more often than not "softer" now. He also doesnt mind me lying on my left side now either! Think it is just that we dont have so much room anymore!

Heartburn sucks, hope you managed to get some more sleep. I didn't find that gaviscon did anything apart from make me feel sick but could just be me. I have mw at 11, really hope baby has finally decided to engage even just a tiny bit but I seriously doubt it judging by the movements I'm getting!! Then I'm off out for the day with my mum and niece which will be nice.

Finger swelling has definitely got worse this morning. My joints are so sore in my hands. Is there anything I can do to help it?!

Im sitting at mc donalds as my hair appointment is at 9 when they open so no point walking there yet!! I love hairdresser as they make my hair feel gorge but often cry after as think my hair looks crap or too different lol
Ive gotta try explain that I want ny hair like that pic but longer. If he thinks it wilm look crap il keep same style I got now just have all dead ends trimmed off!

Hair is nice. The cut I wanted if I had it long he said would look dodgy ( and wasnt prepated to go short taken ages to grow!!) so got the same as usual just looks fresh!! Feel fresher too thanks!
Im currently cleaning drawers in our bedroom to make space for baby and I wanna out her moses our so that my son gets used to it ! Hows everyone else? Xx

i feel quite sick........damn pork i had for lunch lol. ive told poppy shes not allowed to come til its actually september bex thats all i can do lol, i reckon i'll be late anyway even tho i dont feel at all right now, feel sick and jittery and on edge for no reason, movements here have got softer, less painful and noticeable but still frequent and at the same times as usual. had gross jelly snotty stuff the last day or so too but thats from dtd i bet
got my EPO now so gonna start taking it tomorrow never took it orally last time so not sure on dosage, have to check that out

Ive put moses basket in our bedroom today. Reality setting in!! Eek!
Plus ive done a comparison pic. Top pic is me today at 37 weeks and bottom is me with my son 37 weeks! X

OMG constantstar they are gorgeous big bumps! Love it!

Mw said baby was head down and has written 4/5 in my notes so assume baby is 1/5 in my pelvis because it was free last week. The whole engaged fraction thing is so confusing! Stupid blood pressure is high again though so I have to go to get it checked again in the morning

If she's written 4/5 doesn't that mean baby is 4/5 engaged? Gutted about the high BP again hopefully it'll come back down again tomorrow x
