***September 2016 Mummies - the last lap***

My sister in law was showing me how she turned her baby at the weekend. She had her knees on the sofa, and was leaning forward onto the floor and had her arms and elbows on the floor ... If that makes sense! I don't know if this is medically advised so please check! X

I saw that on the spinning babies site, I would try it but I can barely walk let alone lean off the couch lol

We went for our 4D scan yesterday but Baby was being very stubborn and had its foot sitting right across its face! We did get to see its cute little button nose and pouting lips. We've to go back on Saturday and hopefully he/she will be in a better position :)

It was a lovely reassurance though that everything is going on the right track. Baby is weighing 3lbs 3oz just now which she said was average for 30 weeks :)

Fingers crossed for Saturday x

Hi I'm 28 weeks on Thursday. Can you put me down for the 29th September please? :) Expecting a little boy. xx

Welcome  have added you in xx

Ah hope baby is less mischievous on Saturday Deeatk.

And welcome little koala :) hope you and baby are both doing well :) xx

Mrs B- Thank you! Yep he's my first :) Not doing badly now thanks! Had bad sickness week 5-21. Tri 3 has crept up quickly :) xx

scn- Thank you :) Exciting everyone is on the final stretch! xx

naomi- Thank you :) Yep he's a wriggler! Hope everyone is doing well xx

Also had 3D scan yesterday (pic on my diary!) He is a right fidget and had both hands, a foot and the cord all up around his face as well but we did get some good shots thankfully (my hips are killing me from lying on the couch for half hour though!).

Have a growth scan Friday 15th as well so will hopefully get some idea of weight then :)

Lxx

Went to a breastfeeding workshop today and asked the midwife if my change in diet could alter the baby's movements as he's been a wee bit quieter than normal last night and this morning. Ended up getting monitored for an hour and everything was fine, baby moving lots but I just can't feel them :-(

Aww, I'm glad everything is going well

I keep getting asked about feeling enough kicks ... As we all do ... But I don't actually get kicked that much, they move and wriggle loads but not much kicking apart from into my bladder ... Naturally I'm not concerned but I get some funny looks when I say that to them x

My husband (bless him) has just set the to up for me in the bedroom as I won't sit still and rest, his point was proven as today I crippled myself when I got bored and rearranged the bedroom furniture lol x

Ah mine has been a bit more quiet too Karen. Still feeling movement fairly regularly but it's not very big movement. Since Friday when I changed my diet. Glad all was fine with your little guy :)
Xxx

Lol you need to take it easy Caroline! Sounds like you've got a good egg there though ;-)
I don't tend to get many kicks - mine are mostly wriggles too but millie was the same xxx

Maybe the reduction in sugar has made them a little less hyper? X

Yeh I think that's probably it. Mine was very active in the evenings which is generally when I'd had chocolate or some goody or other after dinner xxx

That's what I thought but they said it shouldn't alter the movements, but surely it has to? If sugar makes us perk up then it's got to have the same effect on baby lol

Take it easy MrsB xx

This one's had hiccups twice today lol

They've got to be wrong about that surely Karen? Every time I had sugary food or drink previously baby got a right little wiggle on so it must be affecting them somehow?
Xx

When I eat mine get more active, it's natural surely, after all they are taking what we are giving them x
