***September 2016 Mummies - the last lap***

One weeks annual leave and then onto mat leave. So if they turn around and say they're going to induce me at 38 weeks (3rd of sept) I will leave at end of august. Saving the rest of my AL til next year xxx

Do you think they will?

I was having a nosey through the forums, July people are all popping theirs out ... Cannot wait until it is us x

Eek it still all feels a bit surreal - I don't think it's really sunk in yet that I'm having another one!!

And I don't know really, I think it will depend on how big baby is, but I already know from the private scan that baby is measuring big so will see what they say after the growth scan on Wednesday. Xxx

How big is baby measuring? I currently have 2 bigger than average babies ... I imagine they will slow down soon though.

Do you think you will have more after this one? X

Baby was 3lb 3oz at 28 weeks.
And nope stopping after this one. Always wanted 2, although no doubt I will get broody at some point and have to be firm with myself!
Will you have any more? Xxx

Yikes it's getting so close for us now, I've potentially only got between 5 and 7 weeks left

Eek that's nothing Karen! How exciting! Are you feeling reasonably prepared?

We've still not painted the nursery or put the new carpet in!! Oops! Xxx

I'm sure it'll all come together in time!
The room is painted and the carpet is ordered, got most stuff either in or on order and just waiting delivery/pick up so I'm sure it'll be fine lol my thoughts are ... as long as he has a crib for sleeping and a car seat for coming home then the rest can follow if there's any delays or he decides to come earlier xx picking the crib and car seat up on the 30th July xx

No Naomi no more for us, we wanted 2 and will now have 3 lol :), and yes that's rather big for that stage

And Karen I'm also hoping I've got about 7 weeks to go maximum, and we are (we being my husband and his dad lol) building up a wall tomorrow :) get on with our decorating in our lounge :), need to go pick a carpet etc still so probably pushing our luck with timing a little

We have everything ready now apart from needing to collect the pram and the 2nd cot but that's not a rush as they will share a cot to begin with anyway x

Think this one's had an overnight growth spurt again. Feels really heavy again today.

I thought that was just me Lander when that happens!

This one has had a two week growth spurt! Xx

I don't know what's going on with these 2 - woke at half 3 for a wee and it wasn't comfortable on either side to to go back to sleep and they are making breathing very difficult, so by half 5 I was tearing my hair out and still struggling to breathe today ... Think they are pushing out and up , not sure what to do to make them move either.

How is everyone else getting on? Is anyone actually fully prepared? X

I'll be honest, if something suddenly happened right now, I have sample nappies from Emma's Diary until DH or someone could get more from supermarket etc and I have clothes enough, just not packed anything.

Crib and Carseat are at MiL & FiL's house, though if things happened now, baby would be in SCBU for several weeks and we'd not need them for about a month I'd guess.

I'd rather he stayed cooking to 36wks at bare minimum of course! Anything after that I'm happy.

I'll be 32 weeks in four days though, So I want things a bit more sorted lol. I'll be hitting 35 weeks when I finish up at work on 29th so, hoping to get things straightened up once I'm off!

Hopefully baby continues to cook :). I think I'm prepared but again would rather 36 weeks min. I can't help but keep thinking that I have forgotten something though, I'm 99.9% sure I have all of the basics but I do keep questioning myself.

Not sure if the offer is still on but my FiL bought us some nappies from tesco, 2 packets of pampers new baby with 72 nappies in each pack, he got 2 packs for £10 ... Might be worth a look for you x

We'll get a few small packs of different brands, find one that fits well, no leaks, not too many chemicals and doesn't irritate baby's skin. And hopefully it'll be one of the cheaper ones like Aldi or Asda  .

But thanks for the tip off about the offer!

We used asda for our son when he was a baby, I had no issues but as soon as he went to size 3 I think it was, they just never seemed to fit him and they kept leaking, I was completely baffled by it. But we now have almost 150 pampers to start off with I'm sure won't last that long lol, fingers crossed they agree with them x

We're nearly ready!
Got some bottles and a steriliser and a monitor today...
I am totally committed to breast feeding, but want to make sure that we're prepared if I can't. Will persevere through anything to bf, but also then my oh can feed lo if possible too sometimes. Waiting to get a pump, but more by pressure from others than by choice! I want to get it now as my oh can't drive. If we have an emergency, my parents are going to be running all over the place for us if I am not able to do anything immediately after baby born. Can't tell if we have too many clothes though! I may eat my words but see so many people with babies with dirty clothes on that they keep on them for ages and ages and the thought makes me cry! I want baby to be clean, but may be a washing issue, I guess!
How are you all doing in terms of numbers of vests/baby grows etc.?
Xxxxxx

Well I haven't got many vests yet, about 20 up to 7.5lbs ones, probably about 30 grows, and not that many clothes as small clothes won't last long so don't want to waste my money, I have some from my son in 0-3 months and will add to it when they get big enough. They have 3 cardigans each so far too but my MiL knits so will never be without :) and they have about 4 hats each too x

I need to get millies newborn and 0-3 month stuff out of the attic. A lot of the early stuff was gender neutral so hoping we won't have to get too much additional stuff initially xxx

A chunk of our stuff is Liam's but we have bought smaller stuff as I don't think they will be as big as he was lol, well for my bodies sake I sure hope not x
