***September 2016 Mummies - the last lap***

Aw hope your little man feels better soon. Me and mills are both down with this horrible cold and I just want to be in my own bed tonight but can't leave Dorset til tomorrow. Boo!

I am suddenly wanting to prep a bit more - I think since the diagnosis yesterday I am wanting to make sure I've got things sorted in case it all happens earlier.

Have left hubby with instructions to finish clearing the study this weekend while we are gone so that we can paint hopefully next weekend. Then I can get all the old baby clothes down from the attic and get them washed and put away ready. Going to start getting bits together for my hospital bag too I think.

Going to have to have a meeting with my CEO this Monday about the GD and to tell her I may have to finish work earlier - doubt I will be working til 39 weeks now. Bit bummed about that because i wanted to still be on mat leave when millie started school next year. And coz I've got such a lot to get done in work before I go off!
Xxx

Fort nightly is very regular, how come? I'm being scanned every 4 weeks x

Because of my age (42) and I've lost 5 babies before this one so they want to keep a very close eye on me and baby to make sure we are ok xx

Will you not have annual leave that you can tag on at the end of your mat leave to stretch it further?

Aww, I beginning to think he's got a sore throat/cold, he has become very croaky this evening, calpol is helping but when it wears off he just cries and you can't understand a word he says.

At least you will be back tomorrow.

I've been really pushing to get my lounge sorted so today my husband knocked the door through ... I was rather jealous it looked very satisfying lol. We even went to pick wallpaper, but in reality we might have about 7 weeks left 8 maximum as 38 weeks is my goal apparently. There feels like loads to do as we still have a wall to put up and get a plasterer in.

Don't have a lot to buy now, ordered my changing bag last night and got it £25 cheaper on preciouslittleone.com, it's a pink lining one, I'm very excited for it to arrive. But I mainly have clothes to wash that were Liam's (if the weather would improve) and about 3 or 4 things to buy.

I feel like I'm running out of time but saying that I am ready to them and have my body back now lol

From what I remember about my friends GD, she was induced at either 37 or 38 weeks x

Got my car seat and some other bits in Smyth. Very good prices xx

They are, we have dr Browns bottles from my son that I am reusing, I need new teats for them though and everywhere I have looked they have been £5-6 for 2 and smyths have them for £3.99, think we are going today to buy some more bits as I want a bath unit/changing stand and after shopping around they are the cheapest :) I think they should expand their baby section lol x

And we have WiFi at the house! But DH has managed to give himself sciatica :wall:

Ooh I can feel his pain, yay on the wifi though :) x

My husband just very generously chuckled and told me my bump looks huge :/ ... Not shocked considering I'm at least full term size now but he could of said it nicer lol x

Had 30 week appointment with the local midwife today, she had a good feel etc and checked heart beats but twin 1 is still breech :( ... Feeling a little disappointed as I really want to avoid a section if I can.
I'm bouncing on a ball etc, what else can I do to persuade him to turn? X

Haha husbands day the nicest things ;-)
Not too sure on techniques to turn babies sorry Caroline. Mine is breach at the moment too. Hopefully baby will turn for you soon! How long have they given you to try and turn him?
Did you have your son naturally? Is he better now? Xxx

Well the consultant doesn't think they will turn if they aren't in position by 32 weeks due to lack of space,
He was nurture yes, and yes he's almost back to normal now thankyou :) X

Aw well they've got two weeks to do their thing - come on twinnies!

Glad your little boy is doing better. Xxx

Try looking up 'spinning babies' website xx

I know Naomi ... Fingers crossed ... It's much easier with one when they can manipulate it to turn lol

We went for our 4D scan yesterday but Baby was being very stubborn and had its foot sitting right across its face! We did get to see its cute little button nose and pouting lips. We've to go back on Saturday and hopefully he/she will be in a better position :)

It was a lovely reassurance though that everything is going on the right track. Baby is weighing 3lbs 3oz just now which she said was average for 30 weeks :)
